DO NOT USE THIS STORE TO PACK FRAGILE ITEMS I paid the store to pack my computer monitor into a secure box for shipping. I asked to watch them pack it up, but was told that items would be packed up later in the day and assured me that it will be packed properly and safely. The manufacturer received my monitor damaged. Pictures showed the monitor was packed in a very large box. The box was not long enough for the monitor to lie flat, instead it was laid diagonally in the box. For protection, there is a single layer of bubble wrap, some crumpled paper and a small pack of packing foam. It was clearly not enough to secure the monitor nor prevent it from shipping bumps and drops. The store will not refund me the money. I have to file a claim with FedEx. The FedEx claims department denied my claim, only the shipper can file a claim, who is the manufacturer. The manufacturer does not file claims. So I am lost the $34 for the FedEx Office to pack my monitor and the damage to the monitor. Lcukily the manufacturer was understanding and replaced my monitor. Now I am trying to get my money back for the poor packaging. Unfortunately, the store will not do that, the FedEx claims department will not open my case and reiterates that even to get a refund for the packaging, the manufacturer needs to file a claim! This is a strict FedEx policy. I'm in circles and now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Again DO NOT USE THIS STORE TO PACK FRAGILE ITEMS!!! They will do a crap ass job. If you have a vase or some other fragile item and pay the FedEx office in Morris Plains NJ to pack it securely, expect it to arrive broken. Do not trust them, unless you watch them pack it. Buy the materials and pack it yourself. Save yourself the misery. read more

Paks aren't available upfront, had to ask the staffer there (one person working) - she noticed that I only needed a bag, so was able to interrupt the shipping process for someone else to give me a bag quickly, so that was good! Very disappointed with the customer service provided here. I was not aware of how to use the label scanner to obtain a receipt that the man behind the counter directed me to use. Frustrated with my response of not knowing how to access the receipt, he rolled his eyes and stomped over to the machine to perform the task. This person should not be serving customers. read more

I use this FedEx often for work and they are friendly and helpful. I'm usually putting in a custom print order and they are very easy to communicate with over email. I can simply email the store with what I need and they'll provide me with the turnaround time. Usually they can get me my project within 24 hours, and they'll always promptly call when it's ready. Nav has been extremely responsive to email and is usually who helps me out. It's always appreciated! I normally just do basic printed material, but I've also done some custom signs and they have always come out looking great. Overall this is a great one stop shop for any custom print needs. read more

When I got to the store to pick up the order I was helped by Jaslin, who was also super friendly while explaining what they'd done to fix the file as she was checking me out. I hate to post this... If I could give this 0 I would. This location is convenient and services offered are par for the course for FedEx office. As much as I'd like to say I'd stop going, the location is too good for me to not go again. I went in to return some shoes. The instructions from my vendor said they would pack it for me. I waited in line and when it was my turn I had a back and forth with the employee who was respectful and we weren't really understanding each other about who would do the packing. Then I'm 99% sure the supervisor comes over after the employee offers to do it for me, points at her and says "no". Then she talks to me like I'm a child saying that the vendor instructions were wrong and that I'd have to go home and get the box and bring it back. "Where's the box it came in?" "It didn't come in a box, it came in a bag." She would not commit to helping me, I asked her point blank several times if she would help me if I did that and all she would say is I have to go home and bring the bag back. Then she tried to sell me mailing bags. She got mad when I said no absolutely not (it was a free return I didn't want to buy their bag). She said it can't be "holey" and that I'd have to buy the bag. She ended up yelling at me and I left. That's not all. I go home and stop in the next morning. I use their self service kiosk and borrow some tape from the same supervisor who gave it to me. As I'm taping up the box silently, my back to the counter she says loudly enough for me to hear to her report "you have to yell at them sometimes. This is what happens when you yell at them. If he wants to stand there all day and tape up that box let him." She laughed. I was mortified she was talking about me loudly enough for me to hear. Unbelievable. I felt as bad as when she was yelling at me the previous day and trying to bully me into buying their mailing bag. And I felt bad for her reports because her behavior is not customer forward and embarrassing. I finished taping my box. Used the kiosk, returned the scissors to the supervisor and said thank you. She said "have a nice day." I walked out. She needs to be retrained. That's the worst I've been treated in long awhile. read more

Had an awful experience at the store today. Asked a question to the lady at the store prior to shipping our pre paid package. She gave a very rude cryptic response at first. So after sticking our label, when we asked the question again ,she walked past us without looking at us and started the kiosk process. She simply refused to answer us or give a valid response and when asked again said that I already answered that question once. We for the first time realized that our humble demeanor was being mocked on our faces and we were being bullied by a person not trained to handle customers respectfully. Not sure if this was a racist response. We went ahead and dropped our package, but left the store highly dissatisfied and disappointed. read more

I've had to come here a few times during the Covid-lockdown to mail things for work and they have the floors marked, their associates are masked up, and they make sure to handle everything with care. This location always goes above and beyond expectations to offer the best customer service. They are consistently friendly, engaging and look to personalize your experience. Most recently my daughter had a sweet 16 and I had a poster printed that could be signed by her friends, I could not find the correct type of marker anywhere that would not smudge- the team member took the time to go through all the markers and ultimately loaned me his because it was out of stock on the shelves. Being from NJ, overly nice people sometimes weird me out. Why are you being this nice? What do you want from me?? But alas, the staff at this FedEx location don't want anything more than to help you find the best options at the best prices. I've only been here to print off resumes but the prices are amazingly low! If I ever need to ship something, I'd much rather go here than use the Post Office- at least these people are smiling, attentive and polite. read more

Yay! I like this location because the employees have tact. If you know what you're doing, you'll head in, walk to a machine, do what you need, and the staff will see this and know that you don't need to be bothered and leave you be. If you walk in with a confused expression and look around not knowing where to start, you'll be greeted by a friendly employee who will walk you through and help you with what you need. I've been here to utilize their printing/copying services as well as to have passport photos taken. The photo experience was pleasant and the guy helping me was extremely patient. I sort of sighed saying that passport photos always come out crappy but he smiled and said he'd try to work some magic. So he'd snap a photo, show it to me and ask if it was okay, and then retake it every time I was dissatisfied. Definitely better than getting it done at the post office where they try really hard to make you look awful. Once in a while I'll find that their selection of binders and folders and other office supplies is seriously lacking so that's why I'm deducting a star. They should try and stay vigilant in keeping that stuff stocked! I know it's not an office supply store, but it's all about the convenience factor, and that goes down greatly when they're low on supplies. read more

The evening employees are rude and one was particularly condescending when I asked for help scanning a document. Exclaiming her team member was on lunch. Only to see her back on the floor in less than 5 minutes. Very sad that I was treated in such a manner. So disappointed as the team members decided to roll their eyes at me and state it's their eyes to roll. What kind of customer service is this? Meanwhile the other associate sipped on her DunkinDonuts ice coffee and told me well you're going to have to wait for help. After I stood in a line for 5 minutes and was the next customer on the line. I am a humble patron but this is the first time I felt so upset at any facility let alone a FedEx which is supposed to be cream of the crop for printing scanning etc...Next time I'll go to Staples in Milburn, NJ instead. read more

I am the most unlikely person to get upset but this time I had enough. I have been to this location several times on my way to work. Every time I get a different price for the same package. This time I had enough. The manager in this place tried to charge me $33 when I asked for a small box flat rate which is $8. When I go the the FedEx store on route 17 in Mahwah, I have no problems there. They give me a box and I put in my stuff and they charge me $8. But every time I come to this location,I feel like I'm getting scammed. Buyer beware! I will not go there again. read more

Had a MAJOR business pitch and needed images printed and mounted for a presentation....sound easy enough? This FedEx Kinkos location is run by children. It started over the phone when they claimed to have certain supplies in stock and could meet a specific deadline (this info came straight from a manager). I later learned that neither was true. I suppose this location can fulfill your needs if you simply need to buy some scotch tape, make a photo copy, or maybe mail out a package (although I'm skeptical). At one point they tried to take a deposit and send me on my way.....only to later tell me that we would have to travel to another location 2 hours away to pick up what I needed. Had I not asked a simple question before walking out the door, I would have shown up at 8:00am then next morning to find out my images were in Piscatway, NJ. I say again, CHILDREN. What we needed done was not complicated nor uncommon. Any semi-knowledgable staff at a moderately organized print company could have handled this w/o issue. The young female manager I dealt with was very unhelpful, obviously oblivious of what her particular location had in stock and was capable of, and, worst of all, had a sh*tty attitude and was rude. Kind of that laughable rudeness when you know you are dealing with an idiot, and they only look dumber when they try defend their mistakes. Yeah, that's Latisha at Morris Plains FedEx Kinkos for ya! I'm not ready to completely boycott FedEx since this can't possibly represent the majority of staffed locations....but I'm awfully close...and I certainly won't go near the Morris Plains location...even to buy some paper clips. I went into this fedex ship center, but realized I didn't have the whole address, so I picked up a small shipping envelope, hoping I could just get my item weighed so I could put postage on it and mail it from home. I was asked by a nice employee if they could help me and I explained my situation. In the middle of a sentence, a supervisor-type person came over, interrupted and said to the girl, "You haven't left yet?" and the girl answered that she was just wrapping up. The supervisor said,"Go on, get out of here, don't be silly!" But the girl said that she was helping me (and I was standing right there in our little tri-cluster). The supervisor then said,"Don't worry about it, go ahead and go." So she looked at me and was clearly embarrassed, but walked away. Fine. I assumed this person would pick up where the girl left off. Nope. We stood there for an amount of time that started to feel awkward and I was kind of in shock. She was picking up papers and straightening them, etc, nonsense. So I finally started to speak and she looked up and asked if she could help me. Wow. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. Now, I doubt this is true, but who knows, and its beside the point in any case... She said the system wouldn't let you weigh something without an address. I had everything except the house number. "Nope, sorry. You have to go to fedex." And I said there isn't one close to me. And she looked at me with an obnoxious look and said,"You don't have a computer at home?" So I said, "oh, fedex.com, you didn't mention the .com part" and she said, even more obnoxiously, "yes I did, you didn't hear me." I was stunned. I literally turned around and said "wow" out loud as I walked out of the store. This was so far outside the realm of acceptability that I was compelled to write a review... not something I really do. It didn't seem like she was just having an off day, or under the weather at all, because she had just been so jovial with her co-worker. I've never had an experience like this before. Absolutely horrible, rude, arrogant staff do not ever come to this location if you are looking for fast/friendly service. They kept me waiting here for 2 hours over a missing prepaid label that wasn't even missing. I even got customer service of the place I was shipping my package to call them to sort this out and the employees were so rude to them, they called me and told me to leave this location and take my business elsewhere. Additionally, the staff doesn't even know their own location phone number, they gave it to me and got 3 numbers within it wrong, I had to look it up myself!!! read more

I had a great experience with them two years ago, however I had a horrible experience with them last week. I sent invitations to be printed and after two emails and three visits to the store they were not ready. The girl behind the register named Amelia was extremely rude. She gave me an attitude and printed the invitations (finally) stuffed them in an envelope and handed them to me with an attitude saying: You're all set. Not an apology, not a smile, nothing. She didn't charge me for the hassle but when I opened the envelopes they were printed in the wrong paper not in the one I had requested therefore they are a waste. Terrible experience, horrible customer service. I am surprised because in the past I have had a good experience however every time I went in for my invitations they didn't know who was supposed to print them. Very disorganized especially this girl Amelia. Rolling her eyes and yelling at a customer is absolutely unacceptable. Because of her I will never go back to that store. read more
