I had to drop off a couple of large 50 pound packages to be shipped to California. The packages were prepaid by the receiving party, the labels were affixed properly and I brought them in using a dolly. A woman who works there scanned the packages and I tried to be helpful by asking where she would like me to put them. They were already on a dolly so it's much easier for me to move them to where they needed to be than for them to carry them. The woman hesitantly pointed to where they needed to go behind the counter and I sensed her nervousness as she glanced over at the manager. I stated I was simply trying to help but I'd leave them in the middle of the floor if that's what they preferred. I was told it was ok to put them behind the counter. John the manager didn't say a word but stared at me as if I had committed a criminal act. I have no idea whether or not he berated the employee after I left but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. What I can say is I've dealt with him in the past and I was surprised when I saw that he still worked there. As others have stated, he's a miserable person to deal with and I feel he most certainly has anger issues, does not represent the Company well and does not have the personality traits to effectively deal with customers. read more

I have used the rush passport service there, no one was trained to help. I was there for 3 hours and get nothing done. Left my number for the manager and he never called me back. Very poor customer service! Will never go there again! read more

Not sure what the deal is with manager John. Seeing a bunch of past reviews about him, not sure how he is still employed here. I had a relatively easy single prepaid shipment and greeted him with a smile and 'GOOD MORNING'. Thought it would be a quick and easy scan , say our goodbyes and leave.. but no... He walked to me with a nasty snarl as if I came in decked out with UPS gear with 50 shipments. I carefully place the long box on the scale as directed (even though this was already prepaid and weighed) as I was trying to help balance the box, he glares at me and tells me to move my hand off the box so he can weigh it with a demeaning attitude... BRO it's already been weighed and paid for!! Very off-putting for a service related job. Very easily one of the rudest worker I've ever had to encounter. I can see from other reviews this is not the first time.. jeez...Best wishes to him, golly! read more

I went into fed ex to return an item to Walmart The customer service representative John had a horrible attitude There were several steps that had to be done to return the item Right off the bat you could tell he hated his job and the customers I was unsure of of one of the steps Instead of offering to assist me he walked away and couldn't be bothered John should not be working with the public Hes rude and mean Find another fed ex store if you have to use fed ex I know I'll never use their services again I called the corporate office to file a complaint and the woman who answered the phone didn't have a clue what she was doing A horrible experience from the start to finish read more

This is the second bad experience I have had with FedEx. If I wanted to use the kiosk I would have done so but instead the employee seemed bothered to take my package. I'm so sorry I asked you to do your JOB!. I will NEVER use this store again and I hope they close. It's no wonder that Amazon doesn't use FedEx anymore if this is the way they treat there customers! I drove 40mins to the Salem NH location and got there 2mins before closing. I had 5 boxes, 3 of which were already tagged and ready to ship. Two boxes needed to be entered into the system. A sweet young lady greeted me and started processing the boxes while I ran back outside to get the last one from the car. When I came back, there was another male associate who showed up next to the lady and proceeded to greet me from the get-go with an angry attitude "Are you kidding me? The counter is closed", even though the young lady had started processing the boxes. I am certain he made her stop and shut down the computer while I ran outside to bring my last box. The guy looked like he was in his 50s or 60s with white hair and first name 'John'. I don't know what to make of his attitude - If I were to explain his behavior, I would say he was either having a bad day or that he was on crack cocaine that makes him behave like an angry monkey! I have frequented this Fedex store for years and have had nothing but an amazing experience every time I was there. This John guy must be relatively new as I have never seen him before. He certainly does not belong in Fedex or in any customer service role - I am sure he would be a good prison guard though which I suspect was his original training or previous job! I am not opposed to being told that I am late or that I need to come back another day, as long as it is done respectfully - I get it, people have families to go to! However, giving people attitude cannot be good for business and does not belong in FedEx !! read more

As today of march 9th 9:20aml was there printing and while l was doing it, The manager was very rood to his staff yelling at her put your head together this not a Ups store. It is Fedex... You don't do that next to costumer especially for a woman if you have any problem you talk to her in a room. Not nice!!! read more

Filled out my paperwork for normal fedex, then first counter guy suggested new paperwork for ground. Filled out that paperwork then second counter guy wanted to repackage my box. The worst place to go to ever , printer are not complicated but they are for someone that don't use them often and I dare you ask for help with the using the printers you'll get the worst attitude , fedex needs to limit it's business to shipping and hope they can handle that . People behind the counter are always pretending to be busy when they can ask you first about what kind of service you came in for then give you a few mins to Wait but ignoring Customers is a no no kinkos people .I'm never going back there . The one and only time I have been here I cannot complain on the service or the services offered at this FedEx Location. I use FedEx next to our home and the guys there know me so its always a good experience however this place is great for an east coast place. I called the store directly with some questions about my packages that they were holding at this location and the worker kept cutting me off to transfer me to a customer service number. He refused to provide any information or to help other than to keep saying there's nothing he could do.
