I went to the UPS store twice recently. The first time I was struggling through the door and the manager swooped over grabbed my large unwieldy package and scanned it for shipping. I had to do absolutely nothing. I purchased some large boxes and he offered to put them in my car. The second time I brought those boxes back. I got the first one in. The manager and the 6PM UPS driver again swooped in. Then the driver came out to my car to grab the remaining boxes so they would make the 6 PM truck. He also took the box of the young woman ahead of me, so her package would also make the 6 PM pickup. My husband had told me to drop off at staples. I am so glad I ignored him. The UPS employees at this store couldn't have made it easier for me to ship several large (and heavy for me but not for them) packages. Highly recommend them. read more

I recently shipped a package to Canada. I was returning an item to an Etsy seller. I was charged a little over $40 for the shipping and left the store with my receipt. When I was tracking the package to make sure the seller received it back, I discovered that I owed $338 Canadian dollars in fees. No one explained anything to me about this when I dropped the package off. I told the clerk that it was a return. I have tried reaching out to them to have someone explain why this happened. I will not ship any more packages from this store. Very disappointed. read more

I had to return a lens I rented for my sister's wedding and didn't want to ship it out of CA since that means I would have to bring it on the plane with me, so I decided to come here to ship it out. First off, they are one of the few locations that are open later in the area and the lens arrived quickly and safely without damage. This place is consistently excellent. I have used them in the past for shipping and was treated very well by a nice Asian man. Today I went to get a document notarized and while waiting in line I was disappointed to see an appointment was needed, according to a sign on the wall. Despite that, the man behind the counter was glad to take care of me and at the same time take care of people standing in line. He did the work of two people effortlessly and with a smile. Excellent customer service I've been very grateful that they've been open during the COVID-19 pandemic. It appears that they are as busy as ever. An absolute nightmare. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I walked into this store with documents in hand, waited for the General Manager "Joseph" to finish with his customer and politely said "Hi, I need to get something notarized" as I was finishing my statement, he cut me off at the end and said, "Hello, how are you doing today?", I answered, "I'm doing good, thank you." Now because he kind of cut off my initial statement, I once again repeated myself, "I need to get something notarized.", to which his reply turned very snarky and a little aggressive, "Oh, I'm doing great, thank you for asking."... Now here I am, I have PTSD and extreme social anxiety, and a man who I am in a store alone with has become passive aggressive and his attitude turned nasty. I responded, "I am not required to ask about your day, I answered your question and let you know I came to have something notarized." He placed his notary things down and his exact response, "F*ck this, the notary isn't here." He turned extremely aggressive and into a true chauvinist, completely irate that I did not dare ask him how his day was. I am not obligated, I was not rude or disrespectful when I came in stating what service I was there for, I did not demand. His patriarchal response indicating that he was entitled to a full fledged conversation turned hostile. I left the store completely distraught, had a full on anxiety attack and cried, shaking for the next hour. Be better. This is the representation of this store. The GENERAL MANAGER treated a customer this way. I'm sure this review will receive a response stating the complete opposite, but I challenge the GM to post and review the video footage showing that my statements are fully accurate. Currently in contact with Corporate to have something to come of this. read more

My wife had a great experience with this store on Saturday that I am posting about. She had some Zappos packages to return and arrived just after closing. The guy there (didn't catch the name, but called himself the "Elf") offered to accept the packages anyway, even though the registers were all closed. The email acknowledgment was actually received by email before my wife returned home, so what was going to be a two-day delay and a return trip turned into a weekend chore gratefully ticked off her to-do list. read more

Never have I ever visited a UPS store that was as gentle and friendly as this location, here. Throughout this past holiday season, I was convinced that these UPS guys were working for the North Pole. I had never need to wait for more than 2 minutes in line. Each carrier and rep had a smile the entire way through with handling each of their customers.
