I've used this place 3x since the last time I wrote my first review, and let me tell you why I switched to UPS over FEDEX for 5 over-night orders which is about $10 more expensive each time using UPS over FEDEX. My Texas client and I have a pretty good working relationship. That is until a couple of months ago when Texas had that snow storm. Originally, I was using the Postal Service (USPS) But I switched to FEDEX because ever since Louis DeJoy took over as the United States Postmaster General (USPS), it's been absolutely terrible. Packages arrive from days to weeks late, or sometimes even not at all. The bottom line is that the USPS can't be trusted to get anything important to the destination on time. It's the new order. That's why I switched to FEDEX. But FEDEX screwed the pooch a few months ago during the snow storm that Texas had. I paid $60 to overnight important documents and they didn't get there until after a WEEK later. I ended up having to pay the same fee twice having to resend them using UPS. I should have been using UPS from the beginning because they had no issue at all getting my documents to her the next day. I called to get a refund from FEDEX and was unable to do so, so I'm out the 60 bucks. Since the snow storm I started using FEDEX again because it's a little cheaper. Every time I go to this FEDEX location I encounter the same stinky little man! It's ridiculous. His smell is offensive and obvious. Every time I go there I have to endue this wretched stench! Every customer that shares the same line is accosted by this smell. I can't believe there's not a lot more Yelp reviews calling this place out! It's not in my head if it happens every time I go there! Yesterday, when I went there it stunk to high heavens and the culprit physically looked like he hasn't had a bath in a week. There were literally stink lines coming off of him! I feel really bad for his co-workers. And who gives a rat's ass if he's a nice man. In a society you're expected to adhere do the bare minimum of standards just so you don't stink. If he lives a shower-free life, so be it. But change your clothes and use deodorant. It's absolutely ridiculous. At first I was trying to be careful but now I don't care because it's every week with it. Customers are spending their hard earned money on expensive shipping costs, at the least they shouldn't have to hold their noses when using this shipping service. read more

I ship a lot of items via fedex for my business and i generally drop the boxes off prepaid to the nearest fedex location. i never went into a fedex kincos ship center before. the woman behind the counter was very nice and cheerful and greeted me promptly when walking into the store. I told her i needed to send this box out and just needed it scanned as it was prepaid. she scanned the box and gave me a receipt and i was on my way. in and out in less than 2 minutes , that is really good. highly recommend this fedex location. read more

I visited this office to drop off my return box at 6:30. I hi to the front desk staff, Laudre, and she ignored me. I hi to her again and she hi me back staring her computer with unfriendly attitude and complained to her college that "why the customer keep coming when we close" Their office hours is until 7 pm. read more

This place is great. The employees are absolutely awesome. Unlike USPS or even some UPS locations the workers her are really nice and don't seem to be pressuring or rushing you. The guy that helped me ship my package was really patient about giving me pricing and explaining all the options. They also helped me set up an account to save time later. Lousy!! Took a pre-packaged w/ a prepaid label there but they won't accept unless I'd buy a box and tape from them.

This fedex has one computer, one laptop station and restrooms. The lady was very helpful. The only thing about the laptop station is if you want to print you need to have Ethernet cable access on your computer if you want to print. Since my Mac did not have an Ethernet I just saved my data on a usb stick that I bought there and printed using their computer. They are open on Sunday's from 12-6pm. read more

FedEx Office Print & Ship Center - Outside - Shipping Centers Near Me - Syosset, New York

If you ship from here, keep in mind that the workers can choose not to ship your items. Yup, you read that right. Workers here are apathetic and clearly don't care if your item gets to you. How do I know this? Well, I recently went on a trip and forgot my glasses. I had a colleague FedEx them to me overnight. I paid close to $100 to do so. I tracked my item but did not see any movement past NY. I waited until well after the 12 p.m. scheduled delivery then I called FedEx. Hours of back and forth with various departments. Finally, an answer: my glasses had not left NY. A little more digging: This Syosset location failed to hand off my glasses the day I shipped them out. No, I didn't miss the 6 p.m. cut-off. My receipt indicates that my colleague's afternoon drop-off was well in advance of that cut-off. No-- the workers there just simply didn't include my package in the outbound delivery. They had one job to do, and they failed to do it. Fortunately, I was reunited with my glasses at a NY location upon my return. Still, I had several days without my glasses and hours of aggravation. Avoid this location at all costs-- unless of course you don't care whether you get what you paid for and/or if your item gets lost. read more

While there are many locations of Fedex office I choose to use this location when I am able to for one simple reason-the staff. The staff at this location are knowledgeable, helpful and always very friendly. I have used their services numerous times and always found the experience and the finished product to exceed my expectations. read more

Tried to ask a few very simple questions about a very simple standard print job but Joy got very testy and evasive and gave me the Ma'am routine. NOT the way to answer questions, especially after it took about 12 rings to get a pick up! Even if the store has a lot of customers, it is no reason to have a snippy tone with customers and act as if everything were so incredibly complicated! Nasty tone and phone manner means there is no need for me to even drive down there. People like Joy are the reason self-serve was invented. Too bad, I just wanted some nice professional service and wasn't too price conscious either. read more
