I would think that Sir Speedy, as a corporation, would a have much better customer service posture and equipped with stronger processes to make sure that their customers have no worries about theft of their information after they leave their shredding. I saw nothing but a very small locked garbage can in the office filled with sensitive materials being used. Then I was told it goes into another vehicle then taken down to Phoenix for shredding. Ok... but what is there to prevent anyone from handling that material, snapping photos on ones phone and then selling the info? I have to think of stronger passwords all the time on my accounts. Then I tried Staples. The guy working there knew exactly what I was looking for and recommended that I go to Allegra instead of trying at Staples. Allegra was understanding, and gracious, and did my print beautifully, at less than I paid at Office Depot. I put it in a frame and it looks great. The first time they replaced the battery and it was about $270 and when my computer wasn't fixed I brought it back in and they replaced the charging ports, this was $98 because they only charged me for the new ports. Up to this point I was satisfied and felt that the service was good. Then I got my computer back again and it still wasn't fixed. I am out almost $400, I am skipping grocery trips to be able to afford this and I have missed countless assignments bringing it into the shop. I called to ask for a refund and they refused to refund the work- the majority of the price and said they would refund the parts but only if they stripped the parts from my computer so I am then out hundreds of dollars and I would have a completely un-usable computer. They would have the parts back to use in another computer and still were paid for their work. 100% a massive waste of time and money and now I can hardly afford to get it fixed elsewhere.
