I am extremely concerned and frankly alarmed by UPS's handling of my delivery. This was not a routine package--this was MEDICATION that I was depending on today. Instead of delivering it, UPS marked it as undeliverable due to "address uncertainty," despite the fact that they have delivered to my address many times before. Even more concerning, there was absolutely no attempt to contact me--no phone call, no effort to resolve the issue--nothing. When a company is trusted to deliver medication, there is a responsibility to treat that delivery with urgency and care. Failing to deliver without even attempting to reach the recipient is not just poor service--it is potentially dangerous. This situation raises serious concerns about whether UPS should be handling medical deliveries at all. People rely on these shipments for their health and well-being, and delays like this can have real consequences. I do not feel confident trusting UPS with anything time-sensitive or medically necessary after this experience. read more

I stopped in a couple weeks before Christmas so the shop was busy. The young, heavy-set lady who assisted me was not friendly, but instead rather rude. I gave her grace as this time must be stressful. I had four shipments for them to package and ship for me as I couldn't take these items I purchased on my upcoming flight. I paid for the boxes and their service to package the items. It was expensive-over $300 for 4 shipments! Little did they know, I would be traveling to the location of one of the package destinations. They shipped my package in a used box! The box had old labels marked out and tons of different tape. I wouldn't care if I hadn't paid for the boxes! What a scam! Beware. read more

Came in the store yesterday to drop off some Amazon returns. Had two items that were shipped in the manufactures original packaging, no separate box for either. Anyone who deals with Amazon knows this is pretty standard. The older woman that was helping me had attitude to start. She proceeds to tell me that they will not accept the packages as there is no original shipping label on it. It originally came shrink wrapped and the sticker was on that, no I did not save it. She proceeded to tell me that the store would not put a UPS tag on the box and I would need to buy two boxes for $12. I informed her this was not going to happen. I went outside and called Amazon and explained the situation. Customer service stated this was wrong and they should just put the tag on the box. I asked if she could contact the store and explain their error. She stated that would be too difficult and offered to credit me the $12 for the boxes to get me out of there. I walked back in the store while still speaking with her so I could verify the box charge. At this point I was dealing with the younger woman who stated her name was Zayna who appeared to be in charge. When I asked her to confirm the box prices she stated $30 with attitude. Amazon was listening to our conversation. Customer service stated they would have gladly have credited me the $12 to remedy the situation but $30 they would not do which I fully understood. Took my packages and left. I continued my conversation with Amazon outside. We discussed the stores profiteering off of Amazon and one of their customers was far from acceptable and she would send it up the chain for review. She set up a UPS pickup at my residence of next day. I asked if they would have any issue putting a tag on it, she stated absolutely not. In the mean time she saw the older woman had already scanned in one of the packages as returned. She stated if it's in the system don't worry about it and just keep it or throw it out, would be fully credited. I explained to her this is the only place to return Amazon items in Prescott Valley and it has become a huge issue as the toxic attitude of the store employees is making for a miserable experience that I would rather not deal with any more. I stated to her that if they don't provide another option in Prescott Valley I would either stop ordering from Amazon or be requesting UPS pickups for every return. I explained our USPS location is further for me and they have their own issues. Hopefully that may be enough for them to pursue the issue and find someone else in town for returns. In reply to managers response: So as the owner or manager you are perfectly ok with price gouging your customers? As stated your employee told me $12 for the two boxes, then I walk back in after the conversation and the box price is now $30, that's almost a 300% increase in 5 minutes. As I stated Zayna or whatever her name was just had contempt and attitude in her response as she shot out the $30 profiteering quote, good thing Amazon CS heard it. Response from the owner 3 hours ago Paul, We are sorry you had difficulty while returning your Amazon purchases. Unfortunately, our stores are under strict orders (by our Corporate office as well as Amazon) that it cannot be sent back in a manufacturers box. I fully understand that Amazon sent it to you in that box however, when they shrink wrap around it, it helps secure the box for shipping. We have seen so many complaints that when a customer does send it back in the manufacture box, they do not always receive a credit for their item. We are only doing our job and protecting our customers to be sure that they receive their full credit from Amazon. You do not have to purchase a box from our stores. You are more than welcome to bring it in already packed up in a shipping box. Please understand that a shipping box and a manufacturers box have a big difference and manufacturer boxes are not sturdy for shipping. POOR Customer Service. I was treated rudely by one of the employees (young female). She was impatient, unkind and testy. The final straw was when I simply repeated a specific request I had to ensure it would be done properly. This "set her off", not only did she display overt impatience she verbally replied to my request with unprofessional, unkind, unfriendly curt rudeness, and a really nasty tone, so much so that another customer looked over at me and gave me a look! The employee "EMBARRASSED" me in front of not only the man that gave me a look, but two other customers in the store at that time who also glared at me as I passed them. She seemed "stressed out" and unable to conduct herself as an appropriate professional as she dealt with the public. The whole experience was "DISGUSTING". I will NEVER recommend THE UPS STORE in Prescott Valley to anyone, nor will I ever patronize them ever again. If management reviews my concerns please act on them as appropriate. I have heard other complaints from other people about this particular store ( specifically their poor customer service). Something is terribly WRONG with how the employees are managed and how they conduct themselves as they interact with the public. If the employees cannot handle the volume of customer base, interacting appropriately with customers and the demands of the job, then (in my opinion) they should not be there. Next time they refused to accept a UPS package specifically designed for the product with UPS packaging for returning something to recycle. Went in to the store to mail out some souvenirs from a recent trip. It was fairly expensive, but I expected that as I needed the items packaged as well. The customer service associate (I will not use her name here) was quite rude, seemed rushed and did not let me finish a sentence the entire time we were there. She seemed annoyed at having to deal with people. I was only trying to complete a fairly simple transaction, and my mother and I were not treated with respect or kindness. We were asked if we could stop at the UPS store for a friend to drop off some equipment to be shipped back to the dealer. We obliged, and found this store to be the closest to us. We had figured we would probably spend around $12 to $15 for the shipping costs and taxes, but it was all taken care of. I absolutely despise this store and it's workers. The manager/supervisor that was there today, large person with short pixie haircut, has a real attitude problem and treats customers like trash. Sitting there talking about non-work related things while the line is almost to the door. Then she chimes in to ask some ridiculous questions about the item I was shipping. So when I didn't understand and asked a question back, she told me to "not have an attitude". Okay lady. Asking a question because yours is an unintelligent question is not "attitude". It's trying to understand your BS question. The rates are absolutely outrageous. I had a tiny package and it was about $19 to ship it. Went to USPS and it was about $4 to ship it. Do not waste your time or money here. Trash store. read more

I needed fingerprints taken and stood in line for over 30 minutes. I was then informed that I had to wait until everyone in line behind me was taken care of. Some of the customers before me were shipping 10 or more boxes and didn't have to wait until the store cleared out. The clear took at least 20 people after me because customers just kept entering the store. DO NOT think you'll be treated fairly in line at this store. The clerk told me that customers shipping packages always take priority over fingerprints and notary. Another fingerprint customer got his form but heard her and left. She was not at all pleasant...more like very rude. She's a good worker and helped everyone efficiently but could work on her attitude. The store owner needs to have a second person working the counter. The line was all the way to the door most of the time I was there. Next time I'll go to the Prescott location since that owner has more than one employee. read more

I have been here twice now and both during "peak times" because my lunch break is my only availability during the week days. On both occasions, there have been at least 3-4 people in line. Both times, my shipping needs have been pretty simple. Returning online items that I packaged up myself and printed the return labels and adhered to the box. The line went surprisingly quick, maybe 7-10 minutes at the most. Once I got to the front, they scanned the package, asked if I wanted a receipt, and I was on my way. The transaction was quick and the people who worked there were pleasant and on the ball. No complaints here. read more

If it were possible to give the UPS stores in Prescott and Prescott Valley negative stars I would. I don't know what has happened to the stores other than they hired people who don't care and are rude and obnoxious. One person had the nerve to say that UPS charges more to ship poly bags than boxes. she was going to charge me $49 for something that the post office charged $6.45 to ship. when you look at UPS sites, when you go to the UPS facility and ask about this, they say "no, poly bags are usually cheaper." When i told the person i would take my business to the post office she said "that's where the package originally came from" yes, my sister shipped the package to me via USPS and now i understand why. it is because UPS no longer providers better service than USPS! i HAD a UPS box but now, after the absolute HORRIBLE service from the Prescott and Prescott Valley shops, there is no way i will give either place any of my business. The owner of these locations should be ashamed to have such horrible employees represent their business! read more

I don't understand why this store has low star rating .. the manger is great even under pressure when it's swamped .. I always take initiative to say hi hello how are you .. I've even patiently waited in line there's a lot of rude customers for sure especially if they can't do what the customer request they do ther best with everything really from Amazon returns to sending out packages , getting mail , they do ther best to accommodate I've noticed that big time while waiting in line I do observe . We were sent a gift of two bottles of wine. Upon pick up a very rude employee told us we had to pay $20 to pick up since we are not members!!!! Wth?? No info about being a member given. Over the last couple years I have needed to go to the UPS store in Prescott Valley 4 or 5 times. I have to wonder, when they do the hiring there, is being unfriendlily and borderline very rude a prerequisite to being hired , every time I have been to the store and any person that helped me was curt, short, not one smile or friendly gesture, kind of makes you feel like they don't care if you are supporting there business or not, almost makes you think, that they think, they are doing you a favor and letting you spent your money there. The way the staff treats people is really hard to believe. I watched them abuse a very elderly woman who could barely walk in. I needed a piece of tape just incase and they rudely said they do not supply tape and that I could buy a roll for the 6" strip of tape needed on small box in front of her. I will use USPS in PV 4 pkg svcs & @YavapaiSheriff on Gurley 4 fingerprints $5. Update - I left my DL there and I expressed to her my appreciation as she was kind to call the organization that referred us to them to let me know, but she also complained to them and accused me of shorting her $15. I did not short her. She gave me my $100 bill back and I gave her exactly the same bills she gave me and counted them to her and her onlooking fellow co-workers. 2-20s, 1-10, 1-5, 5-1s. I reminded her that she took $30 from some other cashbox to make the change for the hundred. Maybe she got confused with all these bills as she had to use a calculator to determine what the change would be from a quarter as I gave her $100.25 to avoid getting a lot of extra change back. So I actually overpaid her by 9 cents! Or, maybe they have a thief in the office. I asked her if they had cameras, and they do. I said that is good.
