I'm not going to say who but my package went to the wrong city because a couple of zip code numbers were Inverted. Ended up at my home with the correct printer printed address with phone numbers that I had printed on the box. Note on box said "ripped label" and fedex label was gone. They are working on reimbursing me but we'll see read more

Let me start by saying I am grateful FedEx exists. I'm only giving this one star to the customer service I received from two workers, yesterday afternoon. (I was picking up a package that I was told by my cell phone provider that I could return via Fed Ex or the post office.) When I opened the package and provided the Fed Ex worker the return sticker she quickly stated that I needed to return it at the post office. Ok, I said , thanks for letting me know. She then left the front of the very nice and clean little Fed Ex pop up station that it is and I looked for tape to re package my package that I needed to return at the post office (even though it was delivered through Fed Ex). I grabbed some tape and took one strip. I did not initially see that it was in fact for sale and not for customer use. The door opens and in she comes and says "you'll have to buy that tape." I say that I did not realize it was for sale initially and that I don't have $ with me to pay for it. She tells me to wait and proceeds to the back to get another woman who walks in with a scowl on her face like she's ready to fight. She proceeds to tell me how that what I've done, is stealing and that if I don't pay for the roll she'll call the police. I try to explain what happened, she in turn, doesn't care and is sitting on a high horse riding in the sunset of her false correct minded victory. I'm viable upset at this point and become rude as well, offering she and her co worker the full fledged projection that they are giving me. She then asks for my ID/name and threatens me with calling the authorities, again. I'm like what the F***?! I tell her that later this evening when the day is done and she's lying in her bed, she will remember this incident and not feel good inside about it. She will remember that today she treated someone like, S***. I leave determined to find enough change in my car to pay her the $2.50. I only find $1.75 but then find a $20 in my purse. In the meantime two customers are now in the Fed Ex station and both women are assisting them, as I walk through the doors. The meaner one who threatened me (2nd woman with long brown wavy hair who obviously needs some loving attention and appreciation) says to me "I have your tape." I tell her: you can keep the F***ing tape and let someone who needs it, use it! The two very tall male customers both look at me, then one takes a picture of one of the Fed Ex workers before he leaves. I then give the slightly kinder Fed Ex worker the money (she also needs love and badly) and she returns my change. I say Thank you ladies, and walk out the door. I'm thinking I might send them a bouquet of flowers. *Perhaps if I wasn't judged on my appearance (for the fact that I was in a t shirt short shorts romper with cleavage in full view) these hard working, momentarily un loving women might have treated me more humanely. But then how could they? They are unhappy & miserable and it was written all over their faces. I wish that it had gone differently. This location ROCKS. There was a gentleman that worked this morning who ALWAYS helps me. One time my friend had a wedding invite disaster at a different business and needed newly printed ones stat. This Fed ex location came thru for her right away where other local printers would take weeks. I have never been disappointed and they crank out ALOT of my business items when I'm freaked out from my printer wrong--they save the day! Very help ful! read more

Paid over $60 for an overnight shipment of a package to a friend who is in the hospital in Maryland. Package arrived in the afternoon five days later. FedEx blame this on the weather and absolved itself from any responsibility to refund the difference and what a five day delivery cost would be versus the promise of an overnight. read more

My phone call as transfered to this location from the 800 #. I attempted to explain why I was calling but the woman (who I will not name) continued to talk over me. I actually had to shout over her to let me finish speaking and not interrupt ,then she hung up on me. I am not very confident they will delivery my package on the third attempt even though I keep signing their slips as they request. They have left packages before with no problem without a signed slip. And no ...there is not a signature required by the company who sent it. I was told the driver did not want to leave it at an apartment complex (3 apartments...front door inside the building not on the street) because of security concerns. Even though I left signed permission..and the neighbors leave their bicycles there in the hall ...unlocked...with all our shoes and boots...definitely not a high crime location! Do not want to ever have to rely or trust them again for delivery, there are plenty of other companies to use. read more

While in comparison to the the US Postal Service, FedEx is a fine company, if you need direct assistance from the knowledgeable staff at the Cary Illinois facility you will have to drive there. The telephone number listed here and elsewhere (800-463-3339) for this facility, actually connects you to call center somewhere else. Judging by the heavy accent, poor connection and limited English language skills had by the otherwise anxious to help staff. I am left to assume it is likely in Bumfuk. India. ...no help with my local question at all, and clearly below the standards otherwise set for customer interface by FedEx. The woman I spoke with to check in my package was very rude. She really could care less if I used FEDEX or UPS. That experience would not be a big deal if they didn't lose the package on top of her unprofessional behavior. read more
