Understaffed and over-busy. We recently had to pick up some packages here that we kept missing the delivery guy at our house. It was two packages. We knew we had two packages. We had tracking numbers for two packages. But the desk insisted there was only one. After explaining several times we had two tracking numbers, leaving when they continued to claim it was one package, opening the package in the car to confirm half the order was missing and there was another package, and going back in, they finally looked, and there was indeed a second package that really wasn't all that hard to find. The parking and the hours here are good. But whether or not you will actually get all of your packages is a roll of the dice. read more

This is a general comment on my experience with Fedex .... Bought 4 tires online for about $600 Gave explicit instructions to put the 4 tires at back door by garage .... Did not get any notice when tires would be delivered , after about a week no tires , ( no problem ) we went out for the day got back around supper time , tires in middle of driveway left ! Been a trucker for 35 years , the idea is to read instructions for delivery OR use common sense and attempt to put them out of sight ! This leads me to believe Fedex is hiring anybody that will hustle and rush to get truck empty as soon as possible , no matter what it takes / ok Fedex time to tell your driver to keep tongue in mouth and take a deep breath !!!! read more

I had come by a week or so before but the wait time was too long and I was in a rush. I came back and was able to get right in line, the rep was friendly and she got me in and out in no time. Just how I like it. It was clean and bright and there was hand sanitizer on each counter. I've never had any issues picking up packages here -- it's their main processing facility right next to the Buffalo Airport. There's been a few instances of packages that I prefer to be held at the location, just so that I can control when I can pick them up vs the truck showing up at rando times, especially when a signature is required. Staff has always been friendly and I enjoy coming here vs the UPS facility which is more resemblance of a scary dingy warehouse than a package facility, but that's just me! read more

I have only two packages delivered by this center a headboard, which I will admit to have gotten the delivery messed up, worked with local staff who where helpful enough. Now the second time using FedEx, not by choice, Sony Electronics was shipping me a system, FedEx started messing up from the get go, I was supposed to get my package Friday but for some reason it took three tries to leave Edison NJ, finally getting to Buffalo Saturday 4am ish, attempted delivery @ 10:30 am failed, received a text promising delivery the next Business day, I think Monday but no the fedex site has it now coming on Tuesday and no way for me to go and pickup unless I wait longer. They received a package from Chewy.com on 4/21/2020 into the Buffalo terminal. Today is 5/1/2020 and it still has not been delivered to me. Their website is so messed up that I can't even receive email notifications from them! This is needed medicine for my cat and he should have been on it days ago. Awful experience. I missed the first delivery because I was on vacation, so I put it on hold. The Monday it was supposed to come, I get a text saying I missed again! No buzzer sounded to my apartment, anything. I show up to pick up my package, and I'm told to show up later. I show up again and I'm told the driver is still out there. Continuing to wait on getting this package. The women inside were friendly enough, granted one tried to make excuses for my multiple frustrations until I basically had to get snippy telling her the driver made ZERO attempts to knock, buzz, anything to get my attention. Yes I am a fan of FedEx. I've been coming here for the past few months and their service has been consistent. It is fast and I rarely found any problem picking up or dropping off any packages. What I love about this site is they're open until 8pm from Monday - Friday and 4pm on Saturday. They don't offer copy or fax service, but if you forget to bring duct tape or need bigger boxes for your package, they surely do have those. Parking is easy in and out. It is located right next to USPS. I often miss the entrance to the parking lot but there's a way to get around from the complex adjacent to FedEx. read more

To bad I can't give 0 stars! Have a package to be picked up, the driver is supposed to bring the label because the company to be shipped to is paying for shipping, all I have is a pick up number. I did online chat today to verify pickup was tomorrow and was told yes between 8am and 8 pm. That's all they can narrow it done to? Asked if I could drop it off and have them print label and was given the address of nearest location- this turned out to be a Walgreens drug store. So, went to Cayuga Rd location and was told rudely by woman at counter that she could not print label and would hav3 to wait for pickup, she would not verify that pickup would be next day and said if I wanted to I could leave the package on front porch for driver to see. I already had pickup scheduled for another day and they never came! I was not about to leave an expensive item alone on my front porch and then they don't show up again. She gave me the 800 number to call, which I did. They told me to take package to Fedex location and they would print a label!!! After 3 hrs of phone calls, a wasted trip to location and many tums, I called again and at least that person could verify it should be picked up tomorrow! I won't hold my breath! Moral of story, if you have something to return with them, make sure you hav3 a printed label sent to you. Will update if they come or not! Won't use Fedex if at all possible. Fast and friendly. They have a small office and are usually busy from 5-8 pm. They close at 8 pm, but have other locations nearby that will stay open later and accept packages but those won't be processed to depart that day. This location does not have printers or copiers. They also have packing and shipping materials. Ask for Katy, she is super knowledgeable and nice. read more

Fed Ex Super Sucks I have been getting texts for the last 4 days of the whereabouts of my package The first text said it would be here 5/11/2020 the next text said 5/8/20 the next said 5/9/20 then 5/10/20 then back to monday 5/11/20 and when i put in the tracking number it says it on it's way to the Regional distribution center for this area. So i call the 800 number put my tracking in the lady comes on the line and acts as if she cannot her me on the phone i have been tlking on all morning so i call the 800 number again this lady tells me she can here me tell me let me check on your package the next thing i here is a recording thanking me for using Fed Ex and how i would rate the service that i have received... I guess she could nit here me either after talking to me for 95 seconds.... Fed Ex .... Sucks hard ... I would give it a zero if i could. These people are some of the rudest people i have EVER spoken to. My sister was shipping her animal home for the holidays and they fucked up real bad. We put the animal in a box packed up correct with a label saying live animal. he should have been on a flight to buffalo from indiana. the flight left at 5am and be in buffalo at 1030am. we got him at 9am the following day. the animal we have is an axolotl. they should be held between 60*-64* and buffalo was about 20*. They tried to justify holding him outside overnight. We had to call multiple people at fedex in order for them to move him indoors for the night. We tried to explain that if he is held outside overnight he will die, to which we were told there is nothing they can do, and that they have personally had pets die before, as if that justifies their negligence and lack of concern for a live animal. DO NOT RISK SHIPPING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH KILLING THEM. FUCK YOU BUFFALO FED EX!!! YOU HAVE THE WORLDS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE AUDACITY YOU HAVE IS INSANE! read more

Still a 1 star company. I wasn't expecting shipments to arrive today, but there were 3 boxes sitting out on my front porch. NONE of them are ours. Still the same problem with these employees. They don't know the difference between 1 and 0. All the packages belong to our neighbor, 10 numbers off from our address. As always, they deliver to the wrong addresses. Every time I've gone here to ship a package, the customer service I've had has been phenomenal. Unlike USPS, these people actually take the time to explain your different shipping options to you and that don't act like you're bothering them. I went here to ship a package today and the customer service rep was super cool about us running next door to compare the pricing at the post office. It ended up being $2.00 more at USPS. Then, he helped us make it even cheaper by suggesting we open an account! That alone saved us almost $10.00. Good experience all around. read more

First they tried to deliver my package on the wrong day not once, not twice, but THREE times even though I pre-scheduled the delivery date both over the phone and on their website. After the third screwup they said that they'd attempt to deliver it again today despite the delivery attempt limit only to cancel the delivery on their website. After calling them just now suddenly I'm told they already tried to deliver it the three times before and wouldn't make the attempt today despite previously reassuring me that since it was an error on their part they would and me explaining to them that I am disabled. Terrible. I purchased an item from a store in California and was promised 5 day delivery. The store was great and sent my item the same day. The package seemed to move along until it got to New York. It took three days for the package to get to Syracuse and seven days later, I am still waiting. It was "in transit" three days in the Syracuse area. When it finally arrived in Hamburg, a week after being shipped from California, it is "in transit" three days in the Buffalo area. The delivery date was updated from Friday to Monday and it didn't show again today. FedEx is delivering; I saw a delivery truck on Sunday in the neighborhood. The tracking e-mail shows "a delivery exception; local delivery restriction; delivery not attempted; no recommended action" Why? There is no signature required; it is no touch delivery. The FedEx box could have been set next to the Amazon box that was delivered earlier today. I called on Saturday to track the package and the CS Rep opened a claim and assured me that someone would call me back to update me on the progress. Did I get that call? No! Two missed delivery dates and no promised follow-up. This is incompetence and lack of integrity for not owning the fact that they lost my package. Use a different service if possible. read more

Worst company ever!!!! This is why I usually deal with just UPS. This company doesn't know what customer service is. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Wed. No one was home, so the delivery guy left the door tag above my mailbox. I called FedEx to see when my package can be redelivered. The kind lady on the phone said that the package is out for delivery again and that all I needed to do was sign the door tag and the delivery guy would leave my package near my mailbox. She even SPOKE to the delivery guy and told him about the door tag. So I signed the tag, left it on my mailbox so that he would see it. When I got home, did I see a package near my mailbox???? NOPE. And the door tag was still there! And when I checked the tracking online to see where the package was, the delivery guy noted that he attempted to deliver it but no one was home. HELLOOOOOO!!!!! You knew that I was not going to be home!!!! I called FedEx and all they kept doing was putting me on hold, transfer me to how many people, and drop the call. I called them again, and the same run around. At 1 point, I asked to speak to a manager, the rep places me on hold for 15 mins, and then.... busy signal!!!!!! And now at this point, it is 8pm and the location is closed and won't pick up the phone! The WORST company ever!!!!! UPS is the way to go. They never disappoint. EVER! read more

I guess corporate is oblivious to the countless problems customers experience on a regular basis. I can personally attest that I have had previous horrible experiences with FedEx deliveries. On occasion, they have left our packages out front for it to be stolen. Even if I specifically call and request them to be delivered to the back since I am always home. Then today, I was supposed to receive an indirect signature package. Knowing from previous experiences, I contacted them last week requesting they ring the doorbell as I would be home to receive it. Here is what actually happened: I saw the FedEx truck downstairs, ran downstairs, saw the DOOR TAG posted on my door, grabbed it and ran barefoot in the snow and the driver drove his truck down two houses, walked out of his truck to deliver package, saw me running and calling out anyways, hurried back inside his truck and drove off really fast. He left the door tag at 10:10 so I ran back to my house and called FedEX's customer service line: 800 463 3339 and entered my door tag number around 10:18am. The prompt message indicated "we attempted to deliver this FedEx express shipment today at 10:10 am but no one was at the location to accept it we'll try to deliver it again tomorrow by 8pm" I got in touch with the a female representative who informed me that someone would call me back and attempt to redeliver the package promptly. Two long hours went by and it was around noon when I called FedEx's customer service number again 800 463 3339. I was informed by a male representative that I would receive a call back promptly and reassured me that my package would be redelivered today. So an hour later I get a call from ANONYMOUS which I assumed was FedEx and a male representative from the station informed me that the delivery guy can't go back out again. I can pick it up at the station and it usually takes two hours to receive a call back. So, here I am recovering from the flu with my two year old sick with no car transportation with the option of going to 299 Cayuga Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225 Genesee Street. So instead of going to work or campus I should take time off tomorrow and lose money to do the job of a FedEx driver who gets paid to do just that-inconvenience a customer. Great job FedEx. I have had better experience from the USPS and that's saying something. Avoid relying on FedEx for deliveries if you can but then again your own personal experiences alone can prove how disappointing they can be. If everyone actually took the time to just say how their experience went, then maybe, just maybe, someone would notice and make changes. The best I can do, since no one at FedEx can do anything, is inform all my senders not to use FedEx and if they must, I will be standing outside, rain or shine, waiting for my package to be delivered in my hands for my convenience. I hope they don't lose our package because of this review. One time, in another city, my boyfriend got an empty box instead of his laptop. Based on Google reviews I've read so far, this happens frequently. How are the drivers still employed by the company?
