Fedex drops my packages off on the side of a busy thoroughfare, next to mailboxes. The mailboxes are a mile away from our residences and exposed to weather. I had an $800 electric motor set on the side of the road in the rain on the 27th of September. I had an office chair left on the side of the road and subsequently stolen on the 25th of October. Filing a claim is difficult and obstructive. If you don't have the shippers information you can not proceed. I am going to refuse to purchase from companies that ship utilizing FEDEX. read more

This is the worst shipping company. I have been waiting 4 days for a package. They are claiming weather related delays but the roads have been clear for 3 of the four days. What, they don't deliver packages from Dec.1 to March 31. Interesting business model. I've called the company a number of times and get the same lame excuses. "It is on the truck." Well, I watched the truck sit in town for 45 min. yesterday while the driver sat and fiddled with her phone. No interaction with another driver, nothing, just sat there and then left. I can't even get a response from the company about driving to Lewiston to pick it up. Worst shipping company in the world. Poor customer service and poor service. read more

I move from Boston to Harpswell ME to help my elderly parents. In the past two weeks I have had three Fedex shipments. Only one arrived on time without issue ! Two consecutive days (good weather days), the code "delivery was refused" was falsely documented so no delivery. This shipment needed no signing and I was home. I am currently waiting for documents that were sent from Boston overnight (costing approx $27). No delivery ! It is my conclusion that either the trucks are over loaded for rural ME, so the drivers just neglect deliveries ... or some drivers should be replaced. I will do my best not to use Fedex ! read more

I have had multiple issues with packages not being delivered on time, falsified delivery attempts, and an absolute lack of any way to directly contact the local shipping center. FedEx is garbage. read more

Absolute worst shipping company! Unable to find a number for actual location to contact them but have contacted the 1-800 number was able to find online. Called to request my package be delivered to a different address as I work and am not home when delivery attempts made. I have spoke to several different representatives and managers to just change the shipping address because I cannot sign for my package. Was told that I either needed to take a full day off work to wait on the driver to show up or drive an hour to the nearest shipping center ( I work till 5 and they close at 6) to get my package that I've paid for. Nice that my hard earned items can be held hostage. Oh but they make three attempts at delivery before they are sent back to shipper. That's great! How about texting the customer an estimated delivery time so we know to be home when you're delivering something that requires a signature! Not sure about how much FedEx employees get paid but I guess it's enough to be able to take a day off to wait on a delivery cause that's what the normal every day person does. This company has been extremely poor in handling the delivery of my package. I will not be shipping or purchasing anything through Fed Ex if I can possibly help it. My package is now going on four days late. The driver consistently reports the package is undeliverable due to poor weather. This has become an outrageous bout of laziness on the part of this driver, the customer service representatives and the company as a whole. While there is snow on the ground, it has not snowed in days. All roads, including our driveway are freshly plowed. My small, two wheel drive car drives to and from my house daily. We have received packages from UPS and the Post Office. There is absolutely no reason Fed Ex is unable to deliver my package. The late delivery of my package has now negatively impacted my in-home business. I'm currently at a place where I cannot continue working because your company is unable to deliver your product as promised. I am outraged at the laziness of your driver assigned to my area. I am outraged that every customer service representative obviously does not care about my situation. I will be recommending any alternative to friends and family for their shipping needs. Because of the lack of support from your company in this issue, I do not expect a response or anything that will improve this situation. read more
