I wasn't about to gamble on timing, nor did I want to rely on an insurance claim that could never truly replace what the piece meant to me. The answer? Direct shipment to a FedEx HUB. And let me just say--they got it done. Sure, it took a moment to track the package down in the sea of boxes, but the team was committed. One team member even walked me out to my car, just in case the package didn't fit in my sedan. Update: I got a call this morning from FedEx. They said they were trying to get information on an apartment number. HOW?????? I have now told FedEx FOUR times JUST for this package. I do not understand how this can be this difficult. I don't have a lot of hope of getting future packages. Apparently delivering a package is very difficult for FedEx. I've lived in my apartment building for two weeks and I've already had two packages delayed because they can't seem to figure out how to deliver it. The first one, they called and said it was delayed because there was no apartment number. I said it's because there is no apartment number. Each apartment has it's own address. They delivered it the next day. Now on week two, they call me again and say the same thing about another package. I called the main FedEx number and told them how frustrating it was, asked how they delivered packages before I moved in, and explained that this package was a $200 annual parking pass and I would now have to pay $10 to park because this package is now three days late being delivered. All the delivery person has to do is get out of the truck and look at the numbers. They said they would add a note and it would be here today. Nope! I just called again and chewed the customer service guy out (although I told him I knew this wasn't his fault). How hard is this???? Seriously, IT'S YOUR ONLY JOB!! read more

Delivery agent was instructed to knock due to broken doorbell. No knock was heard and none of my three dogs barked or alerted to the front door so there was no knock. This vendor has terrible customer service with no way to contact a live agent and no possibility to reschedule a delivery for same day. I now must travel to adjacent town to pick up my package today or sit at home waiting and hoping they will knock tomorrow. read more

FedX is terrible in Oxnard. 2 different times within the past 2 months I have been waiting for deliveries that never arrive. Stolen by the driver most probably...I have a camera at my front door that show no fedx driver delivering to 3851 Harbour Island Lane/ Seabridge area. And, we have secure lock boxes in the building that the FedX driver could have and should have utilized. Here's another problem with FedEx... As the recipient I just found out I cannot file a formal complaint. I now have to go back to DSW shoes and request that they file a formal complaint with FedEx. How ridiculous is that policy? FedEx systems HIDE their poor service. We were told the package was "attempted to be delivered". But since we were here all day does that mean the driver just drove by? The number of times we logged on and eventually received a message saying "there is no tracking number by that number". Well, you sent me the number! O and their customer support is very little assistance - just script readers when you call. IF I ever get my package, I'll be done with them. read more

I order a gaming chair threw Ebay and the FedEx drive drop off the package at wrong address. I get no help from FedEx just a case number. All it would of took is calling the driver tell him to go back where he put the package and take it to the right address how hard can that be. Now I'm out of $200.00 plus. Now FedEx blocks your number so you can't call them back. What good is this number. You get a recording that a case has been filed on the shipping tracking number and hang up on you. How hard is it to pick up a return? Stop promising me a pickup time and day. You were supposed to show up yesterday between 6:00 and 7:00 pm. You showed up at 4:53. I was not home. Today you were supposed to show up after 5:00 pm and you never showed up. Lame! read more

I JUST LEARNED FROM FEDEX CUSTOMER SERVICE that if a shipper sends a package and Insures it for $ 500 or more, that even though one does NOT check the box for "Signature Only " , they (FEDEX) will make it "Signature Only" , but does not feel they should tell you they are doing so. The result is that, even though I was home but could not answer the doorbell in the 10 seconds the driver is willing to wait for a signature, they will leave without dropping the package at my very secure front entryway. This caused me a great deal of anxiety as I needed that package at the time it was supposed to be here, and therefore told the shipper NOT TO CHECK THE SIGNATURE ONLY BOX. I guess I should have used US Post Office or UPS. Buyer BEWARE . FEDEX may have other critically important policies like this that they do not feel they should inform us of when we drop off a package . read more

We were told to be home 12-4, which is hard because we work, but I got here to find that became bust 11:45 am!!! So we missed it!!!! I call infuriated, and they maintain that the driver can come whenever they want!!!! So it's totally ok that he didn't come within the window we agreed to!!!! I now have TWO packages that are MIA after receiving notifications of "delay" etc. One of my packages actually made it on the delivery truck but somehow wasn't delivered? What the heck FedEx? FedEx just delivered my Chewy order. I won't be buying from Chewy anymore because FedEx is their delivery service. The delivery person was so lazy they couldn't open the gate and set the box down, it was easier to drop it over an 8 foot fence. Driver left note on door without ringing doorbell to try to deliver package. We were home. Note did not check off that person needs to be present. I signed note to leave package. Driver came again, did not ring doorbell, and though I was home, left another note writing "void" where signature line is. Still did not check off need to be present to get package. I saw driver and yelled at driver to stop but driver did not stop. I called Fed Ex to tell driver to actually do the job, ring the doorbell and wait for an answer. Fed ex said they would do so and that even though note did not say must be present that sender said must be present and if next time not delivered will be at FedEx for 5 days for pick up before going back to sender. read more

Madonna is the best! I had a very important pkg that had to be sent in a special mailer but neglected to include the paperwork when I sealed it. After trying to get another envelope from the original organization, I ended up going to this office. Terrible. Received a phone call that a package is waiting for me to pick up. The employee gave me the wrong tracking number so now I can't pick up my package. Customer service is telling me I need the tracking number even though my name email and phone number are all on file. The most expensive shipping service with absolutely horrendous customer service. I came to to the Fed Ex Hub on a Saturday to retrieve a package that couldn't be delivered because I neglected to leave my Gate Code (We just moved here so we didn't think about this important detail). I was in and out in two minutes. Mike took care of me and he was a pleasure to deal with. If your parcel couldn't be delivered because it needed a signature or because they couldn't gain access to your front door, skip the online runaround and just come down to the office. read more

I'm am reviewing overall FedEx services. My shipment from pampered chef has been lost by FedEx. Because it was shipped ground they take no responsibility. Their answer to me was " we don't make the actual delivery we hand it off to the USPS and sometimes it takes them an extra 7-10 to deliver it to your door"..... I not pay the USPS to delivery the package I paid FedEx. I checked the tracking and the site said it would be delivered today between 1045am and 445pm on 1/24/2022. It said this all day until 515pm when it didn't arrive. I then checked the FedEx site again and it now says you have no scheduled deliveries. When I contacted FedEx by chat I was told the shipping method and that they have nothing to do with it. ( See above quote ). This is why I recommend never using FedEx. I will never trust FedEx for anything again and will never go into a store with their branding and I recommend none else does either. They think we don't have choices but we do. Use UPS, DHL, or anybody else stay away from FedEx!!! read more

Very poor customer service , spoke to a customer service agent by the name of Donna regarding a proof of delivery. Donna wanted to know if I had a tracking number at the moment I did not have a tracking number at hand so I had requested for assistance in trying to locate my tracking number. Donna refused to assist me in trying to locate my tracking number and insisted that I call back once I knew what my tracking number was . In the past I have been able to obtain a tracking from other agents by cross-referencing. I then called the Ontario station and spoke to a Sean and she was able to cross reference and locate my tracking number within a matter of minutes and was even able to give me a proof of delivery. Excellent great customer service on the Ontario station Bad Boo customer service for the Oxnard station. I even spoke to a manager I Believe by the name of Susan Mead which refuse to assist me as well at the Oxnard station and also refused to pass me over to a senior manager or district manager she also refused to give me any of their names read more

I went into the FedEx building and I stood there for 10mins and no employee helped me out, so I left. And I know they heard the door opened.

Receiving a six box shipment from Seattle, 5 of 6 boxes arrived two days later than given (and I have to wait around to sign for these). Four came on one truck, the 5th came on separate truck, probably because it was re-wrapped by FedEx since its box broke open (the re-wrap was barely strong enough). 6th package was due at same time, "on vehicle", but did not arrive. So, it was scheduled for next day, Saturday, (by the way, this is a large 25# box) but it did not arrive. There is no detail on when to expect packages, like at least morning or evening. So Monday, we get an email saying that it is "on vehicle" but will not arrive until some unknown time on Tuesday! How can they mess up a delivery like this? Others seem to have the same problem with FedEx, and damage is more likely than using the Post Office. Not enough competition in the mass shipping business. Maybe Amazon drones will solve the problem? read more

I've visited this FedEx ship center several times and a have always been pleased with the service. Staff is pretty darn good. Can't say the same thing when I visit the Kinko's locations. read more
