I truly wanted to leave a positive review, but this experience did not match what was promised. The sales representative, Daniella, was professional and reassuring. She made the company sound organized, reliable, and worth the price. Unfortunately, what followed did not reflect that impression. Although the company presents itself as a California-based operation with its own fleet, our belongings were transported more than 2,000 miles in what appeared to be a standard rental truck with a trailer attached. Our suitcases were placed loose in the open back of the truck exposed to dirt, weather, and potential theft. They were not transported in a secured moving vehicle, and by the time everything arrived in Florida, several items were dirty and damaged. The delivery process was especially frustrating. My husband was pressured into helping unload everything, yet they still expected a tip afterward, but he did most of the heavy lifting.We were also charged extra to have our items brought to our door, even though the truck could have parked directly in front of the building. The driver simply chose not to because it was inconvenient. We had missing and damaged items, including lamp parts, table legs, and a damaged KitchenAid due to careless handling. While the pickup crew in California was professional, the delivery team was disorganized and rushed. To make things worse, we were told at the last minute that our building supposedly didn't allow Saturday deliveries. The driver said our belongings could either be left on the side of the road or placed into storage at our expense...even though we paid for door to door delivery and were never informed of any restrictions and this is a very long move as is. This was not an inexpensive service, and the experience did not come close to matching the promises made during the sales process. When a company positions itself as premium, the gap between what is sold and what is delivered becomes impossible to ignore especially when they try to charge you extra for every step of the way. I wish my experience had been different, but unfortunately, it wasn't. read more

CA to CO. Overall good experience, will break this review down based on different parts of the move. PRIOR TO DEPOSIT: Danielle did a good job gaining my trust in the company. Walked me through the estimate process, etc. Pay attention to any changes in the estimate charges when you or she makes changes. PICK UP: Scheduled for 1/25 (one week prior to my move-in date for time to travel). I had my belongings pre-packed upon pick up. They boxed up a few misc items into one large box & wrapped my bicycle for transport. Leo & Sergio did a nice job loading everything up neatly & organized. DROP OFF: They advise of a 10 day window from move-in date of 2/1. I wanted an update around day 7, as I hadn't heard from anyone & I wanted to make sure I was off work on the arrival day. They advised they would be arriving on 2/14. I understand they go by M-F business days, but I was hopeful they'd arrive sooner since my boxes were just sitting at the facility for 3 weeks. My items arrived in a trailer and when they opened the rear door, I noticed my boxes appeared thrown around a bit, a few were smashed & some clear plastic boxes were upside down (not smart considering you can see what's inside & the damage that can be caused). After unpacking, a handful of containers had been cracked, some dishes were shattered (boxes were marked fragile), & my bike handle was cracked and no longer worked. The final payment that was due a drop off, one of the movers tried to tack on an additional charge for a set of stairs. I advised him that I prepaid for that, so he checked & removed it. POST COMPLETION: I reached out to the team via email regarding the items damaged during transit. The dollar amount may not have been much, but out of principle I wanted to let them know, especially since the condition of the boxes were not great at drop off. I must say they were quick to respond and find a resolution. I appreciated their sincerity & timely resolution. Despite the small hiccups, I would still recommend. read more

I am happy with the service. I wanted to move 2bd apartment stuff to 1bd a mile away. The price is not the lowest in the market, but I paid overall around $600 for 3 guys + truck. I packed everything myself. What I like about them: - they came with a really big truck - they work supper fast. It's a fastest moving team I ever had. - they strong and tall guys, probably Eastern European - they packed my mattress, covered furniture with covers, they had all materials what they need - In comparison I had some cheap moving team. They were super slow. I had to move part of my stuff myself, because we would not fit in time. I paid them around 600 but they spend almost all day. - the worst experience I had was with guys from 11th street that are looking for gigs in front of Bourget Bros hardware store. I invited 3 of them for $25 an hour, on arrival they requested to pay $30, I agreed, but they were extremely slow, always in mañana mood. They broke my stuff and tried to hide it. Never again. So, if you want to move fast and don't care a lot about lowest price this team will help you. read more

DO NOT HIRE THESE CON ARTISTS!!! If I could give negative stars I would. First, they lied to me about how they charge for moving. They said it was based on square footage of the moving container. It wasn't! When the rude moving guys showed up to my apartment to move me, it was clear that everything had an itemized price, doubling my costs. The moving men were so rude so I didn't tip them. I feel they sought revenge on me by making sure my nicest clothes (half my wardrobe), all of my shoes, and my favorite chair somehow got "lost" along the way. They basically stole thousands of dollars worth of my items. I filed a claim with the moving company and they offered me $80. I tried to file a police report and claims with my insurance company but it's been tough. Don't believe their response to this review. Half my things went missing. read more

I would give this company a 4.7 rating. Everything transpired per schedule and to our expectations. The only concern we have is that we noticed a day after delivery and setup that the hutch mirror was not installed correctly. the movers noted there were only 2 screws holding the unit onto the hutch. This is true, however there are also 4 lips on the bottom of the mirror that rest on top of the hutch to stabilize it better. These are currently sitting behind the hutch. we are not sure how the movers missed this small but crucial element. We will bring this to the attention of Best Quality Movers. Editing our review: Theleft top corner piece had "fallen off" during transit. The crew had to borrow our glue to glue it back on. They then wrapped the entire piece with painters tape. We removed the tape today and noticed a big chunk of wood missing. The current corner piece is also not aligned with the same piece on the right corner. Not happy that our near perfect 1880s hutch now has obvious flaws. read more

First, the contract said I could reschedule move 24 hours out, but "Jake" who contacted me refused to push it out one day, saying they already had the truck booked. They showed up in a rental truck that was not marked with the company's name. The movers did not seem to understand what items I was moving or what was required of them. They kept asking to look at the inventory and estimate. One would think they would have access to that information already. The person who coordinated the move was not clear about the terms, and the movers were unwilling to pack my kitchen items as was requested before the move. When I contacted the moving coordinator, I was told that a "partial pack" was just putting blankets on my furniture and putting it in the truck. So basically what you would expect from any mover. And you pay extra for this! Apparently I would have to pay for a "full" pack to have them pack two boxes in my kitchen, but that didn't matter because they wouldn't do it anyway. When I told the crew I was uncomfortable with the situation, they went outside to talk. They looked directly at my camera, then looked at each other, then stepped out of camera range for some reason. When they spoke in front of me, they chose not to speak English so I could not understand what they were saying about it. I ended up sending them away as their behavior made me extremely uncomfortable I was afraid it would be one of those scams where they try to extract money from you before giving your property back. I was really disappointed, I'm moving for work in my office has been waiting for me to get there for weeks, and now it will be delayed even further. The moving coordinator was extremely friendly before the move, but that disappeared when I explained my discomfort with the movers themselves. And once when the movers thought I was outside (I had come back into the house through the backdoor) I saw him pick up I've if the boxes Ave throw it down onto the ground. And the company wanted me to sign a waiver saying I will not take any legal action against them no matter what that's exactly what it says I refused to sign in and I do have plans of taking them to court. The actual movers did well. They hit a few corners in our new location that will require paint touch-ups, but overall, they were quick and the furniture itself stayed intact. The billing portion I wasn't thrilled with. When their manager called once they completed the job, he told me the job was completed in 4 hours, but it was actually completed in 3. Initially when booking, I was told there was a 3 hour minimum and the job was estimated to take 4 hours, but I wouldn't get charged for any time over the 3 hour minimum if it wasn't utilized. I tried calling to clarify, but haven't received a call back yet as the rep on the phone couldn't verify the time stamp of when the job started. read more

These four guys got to Porter Ranch in the Valley at 8 am, packed the truck, wrapped everything that needed protection, carried it all down three flights of stairs, drove to Palm Springs, and put everything into a two-level house with yet more stairs. Throughout a long day, they were smiling, joking, and demonstrating a high efficiency, good spirits, and enthusiasm. Irena in the office made every detail pleasurable and was a great person to manage the project. She knew exactly what to do and made herself available throughout the project. I'm so disappointed. Never in my life could I have imagined it would cost me $2000 and take 10 HOURS to move a one bedroom apartment. This is not including tip & note I was charged over $400 for packing supplies alone. Two of the guys that moved me were so sweet and I hesitated to write this review because I don't want them to get in trouble but overall this company does not deserve your business. It started when they were 45 minutes late for the 8-9am window they told me they would arrive in with no call, no explanation, no apology. I had to call to ask if anyone was coming and had a short phone call with the owner of the company who didn't even bother to acknowledge the mistake on their end. The whole move felt very disorganized, haphazard, and amateur. Again, two of the guys were so sweet but I found myself wondering if they had ever done this before. They were incredibly slow, inefficient, and illogical in some of their choices... For example, everything in the kitchen was wrapped to the extent of overkill - plastic glasses and bottles of WATER wrapped in LAYERS of bubble wrap and packing tape. No wonder it took so long to pack up the kitchen and hence the $400 in supplies! Then other items, some really expensive, like my art, weren't wrapped up AT ALL, but rather thrown all together in a large box completely unprotected, damaging the frames and ripping the backing of my pieces. My dining room table was also chipped in the move as well as the underside of my couch completely ripped open, destroyed. Just can't take a picture of it because I can't move it on my own... They also packed a 12-pack of dr. pepper in the same box as my cookbooks (why?!!). A can exploded and ruined all of the books. After serious sticker shock (again - over $1900) and a much longer day than I had been told to expect they had the guts to call me to tell me they had UNDERCHARGED me $45 and that I owed them money. I responded explaining everything that went wrong -- the lateness, disorganization, overcharging for supplies, extreme underestimation of how long it would take to complete the move -- the man who manages the business told me that in order for them to reimburse me for any of the damage to my things I would need to first pay the $45 they had undercharged. At that point it wasn't even worth it to engage but I feel like I have to warn people about what a negative experience this was. Stay far far away. read more
