Extremely rude customer service. The lady in front 'Tamu' is the worst. I filed a complaint with FedEx. I went to pick up this package around 12:15pm PST on 6/9/2016 at the Lawrence station location. I was second in line and patiently awaited my turn. As soon as I approached the desk and said, "I'm here to pick up." Tamu rudely replied, "Wait, I have to get to the page." After some confusion with the tracking number, I told her my name. She then rudely replied, "Hold ON!! Haven't you've been here before." I replied, "yes". Tamu then went on to say how "all I need to do is come here and say I'm from so and so and the package is on hold for pick-up." I said "okay." She then went on to rudely say how, "she didn't appreciate my attitude and how she needs to be respected, all the while waving her finger in the air." I simply replied and asked her for her name. She then said, "Tamu, do you need to write it down or take a picture? That's all you get, ain't no one need to know my name." read more

Incredibly rude customer service and extremely demanding, like "you can't do that right now, but in five minutes when my mood changes, you can." You can barely call it customer service. Came here to ship a package with a pre-made shipping label, took half an hour for her to get through 3 people. Gave me trouble printing the shipping label and said she can't print it but ended up doing it anyway. Absolute worst service ever. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. First of all, they double charged my card and I've been disputing the charge for over two months now. When I decided to come in and speak to the manager, an employee named Jose was treating me with the most degrading and disrespectful manner, I was honestly shocked by how a person like that can be behind the counter. When I expressed my frustration and anger for the double charge, he told me to "shut up". My friend was behind me as a witness. He did not get the manager. He did not apologize for his rude behavior. He double charged my account. The manager did not come out to resolve this matter. Did I mention that an employee told a customer to "shut up"? Long story short, do not go here. If I am able to rate NEGATIVE 5 STARS then I would! Customer service stinks! And boy could you smell a lot of BS! While I was talking the female staff was not paying attention. Another male staff walks to the front counter and says something obnoxious. The female staff that is helping me turns her head and laughs at her coworker while i'm still talking. I have been to this Fedex office few times to pick up an item and had no issues with it but for 1 miserable experience experience I have to give them 2 stars. We were out for ThanksGiving holidays and none of the item can be delivered so I have to pick them up from Fedex. I drove to the office asking if they have an item which was re-directed but without looking at my number, the person behind the counter just gave me a piece of paper to call another office. He does not have any customer and should at least try to locate where is the item but that small incident kind of upset me. I still love UPS. read more

Not helpful & horrible service. Spent $5 for an electronics box then after I buy it the guy tells me I have to buy the tape to close it (which I have been to other FedEx shipping centers and they are happy to tape it for you ie...the one on prospect) then they were out of the smaller tape so he said I'd have to buy the $8 roll of tape...seriously??? When I told him about the other locations that do it, he shrugged his shoulders and said I could go there...on my way to the Prospect location now....After that I'm not going through FedEx, I'd rather go out of my way for UPS. read more

This is the closest fedex location for me but I can't remember when was the last time that I only spent less than 20 in line here. It's not that they are busy all the time!!! The manager is constantly out front and it ALWAYS takes him a long time to finish one customer. Last time it was over 7 ppl behind me lining up all the way to the door and he spent about 10 min back in office packing for the customer in front of me. This time the customer who wanted to ship to Canada had zero idea about how to ship her package to Canada AND did not fill out the shipping form. He didn't ask her to step aside and finish what she should have been doing. Instead he spent good 15 mins walked her through every single question on the form and chatted her along the way there were 3 customers in total other than this clueless girl. Great! A simple 3 mins transaction for me turned into 20 mins!!!! So next time if you have too much time to kill, ship from here! read more

Rude and arrogant service. Kept saying that he had been working here for over 10 years and the service I requested was impossible. I said I did this three months ago and could show the email to him. But he just behaved in a very rude way and I had to leave it. After driving miles away to another Fedex in Santa Clara, problems all solved. read more

The people here are super-cool. I have had to go pick up numerous packages at this location. They always seem organized and I've never had to wait longer than I should. Most of these guys have a great sense of humor so going isn't such a pain in the behind. read more

People are rude here. one of the ladies there said that the reason why she can't spend time to help me was because there was a large number of people waiting behind me! This review is primarily for deliveries from this location. Last Friday I was at home at 1:00 p.m. I received an email saying that my package had not been delivered because I wasn't there to sign for it. The doorbell was not rung and no one knocked. Today I was sitting eight feet from the door, loudly playing piano, so obviously home, when I heard a small tap on the screen as if someone was taping a message to it. I ran to the door in my underwear and found yet another doortag and no package. The guy had already walked about twenty feet away in the five seconds since he had not knocked or rung the doorbell, but I peaked out and saw him. Got my package. But it's absolutely ridiculous that they'd even send someone all the way to my door if they're not even going to bother knocking. read more

Horrendous customer service experience. For some reason the Fedex system couldn't track my packaged and on 3 separate occasions I spent 30 minutes on the phone being passed around from department to department trying to find the correct record based on my tracking number. Ultimately someone found and agreed to tell the driver delivering the package to leave it with my apartment complex leasing office since I wouldn't be home to sign. The driver didn't do as instructed. When I called to enquire the customer service department was completely uninterested in helping out and told me I now have to make a long drive to a shipping center to track the package. This will have wasted about 3 hours of my time over all - an incredibly frustrating and wasteful experience. read more

Please avoid this location if you want to save your day...I am surprised we pay so much premium to FEDEX to get such nasty treatment in-return. Very bad customer service. The lady working at the counter is very rude and impatient.

Well I almost got fooled! I dropped off electric bike and lithium ion battery (separate boxes) that had to be sent overnight across the country for a trade show. The checker took both, said they were fine and gave me receipts. I was super excited and didn't understand why this place had such horrible ratings... Next day FedEx returned the battery as undeliverable! Apparently some hazmat sticker was missing, and the person that checked it in didn't say anything. Next day when I dropped off the battery, I had some questions, the person said they are not supposed to help with hazardous goods!!!! By the way, apparently they only have *one guy* who is Dangerous Goods certified and he is not around until after 4:30 PM. This is a FexEx office in the heart of the Silicon Valley where everything is powered by lithium ion batteries, and they have ONE guy certified?! Also as a side note, they do not stock the hazardous goods labels which THEY REQUIRE! I remember FexEx being more of a friendly and helpful One Stop Shop before. read more

They planned to delivery my package next Monday, and they arrive today's morning. It's fast and I thank for that. But obviously I'm not in home because they did not inform me before, and I got the form on my door. This afternoon I went to this center to pick up my package. A black lady with glasses, looks like very very inpatient. She said, the form shows you need to pick up at 2.p.m., I looked the watch. It's 1:50 p.m. And I said I already checked status online, it's in here. And she checked in her computer and then asked for my ID, I gave her my drive license, and She said she need a license of my shipping address. I just moved here from anther state, and said I do not have that. She looks very angry and said, what you talking about? I need to prove your current address. I need your agreement from blah, blah. The whole thing is stupid. I have my phone number, have ID with photo, have my credit card. I drove 7 miles and failed to pick up my package. AND had a very unhappy talk with a inpatient lady. I would never choose Fedex again. read more

I had an incoming shipment of nearly $500 of meat and poultry which I intended to use for my New Years dinner. D'Artagnan had shipped it Fedex Standard Overnight on Thursday, therefore it was supposed to arrive on Friday. By noon, it was already in Oakland, and status showed that it was to be delivered to me by 3pm. However, once 3pm rolled around, the status went to "N/A" and stayed that way through Saturday morning. I called Fedex's 800 number and learned that my package was indeed in Sunnyvale, but was bundled with other packages. I asked if the local office could release it to me if I visited them and the operator said that they might but no guarantee. So I headed over and found to my surprise I was the only customer. The clerk was polite and confirmed that they did have my package, but that it could not be released until Monday since it was not shipped as a Saturday delivery. I told them that it was perishable and would be worthless on Monday. She went in the back to discuss with her manager but the answer was the same - they refused to release the package until Monday despite the fact that they had no other customers. At 5:22pm (22 minutes after the branch had closed its desk), my package was marked as having arrived in Sunnyvale - meaning they had unpacked it from its container. Why they couldn't have done this 23 minutes earlier I have no idea. In the end, I got refunded and I expect that Fedex will get charged for the $500 loss, but this could have been avoided if they had just focused on the customer experience. Clearly the Fedex employees in the Sunnyvale branch don't care -- they are just a small cog in a machine and have no incentive to go out of their way to help the customer. Sadly, I'm not sure that anyone in Fedex cares which is why I'll go out of my way at this point to use UPS or USPS for my own shipments. read more

Beware of using Fed Ex in Sunnyvale! We have been trying to refinance our home and have had to receive packages via Fed Ex that contain very sensitive information. The first package was delivered to one of our neighbors in our condo complex, a somewhat understandable mistake, but it was left without a doorbell ring or without a signature which was in violation of the instructions for delivery. Fortunately, the neighbor knew us and hand-delivered the packet. The second delivery was sent to a business address a few miles away to a street and number which was in no way similar to our address. This one was signed for, but obviously not by us. We are now trying to get back our erroneously delivered package with sensitive info inside. Furthermore, we HAD to sign and notarize those documents on the day they were supposed to be delivered or lose our loan. Thanks to Fed Ex's incompetence, we will lose our loan and possibly experience identity theft. You have been warned! read more

I came to the store march 28, and made a very offensive employee. He was a tall, bald, white man with reddish stubble who was exceptionally rude to me. While talking with him, he avoided eye contact and was mumbling. I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. At the end of the transaction, he just gave me the dirtiest look of satisfaction, as if he was proud to giving bad service. read more
