I came in to pick up a package after missing the delivery to my home . When I came in to this location to pick up my package, they asked to check my ID. The worker gave me a hard time because my address on my ID doesn't match the address on the package . I told them it's me the names and pictures match big deal. I know that FedEx makes mistakes like any delivery service, however the customer service is horrible. I got a notice that my package was delivered yesterday even though it would be impossible since my gates were locked to the property. I called right away to find out if I could talk to the driver. I figured the driver just delivered to the wrong address, so I thought together we could figure out what happened, while it was fresh in the drivers mind. I did quickly get a hold of someone who told me FedEx had no way to give me the drivers name and number. That I had to go through the investigation team and should expect a call back in a couple hours. In less then two hours I received a call from an Indian lady with a strong accent telling me they are investigating my lost package.. A again told her to simply ask the driver what the driver remembers. Unfortunately she had no way to contact the driver and she wasnt even in the united states. Hmmmmm Soooooo after answering a few stupid questions of hers, she finally told me they would get back to me in a week or so with their investigation results. What investigation results as if they knew anything about investigating, they would know to start with the driver and start with the driver as soon as possible. So am I just out an expensive video camera or is FedEx going to actually going to help me? Terrible service! Had live plants shipped to me with a delivery date of 4 days later on Thursday. I received notification that it would be delayed until the following Monday. I was worried about whether the plants would be alive but hoped for the best. On Monday, it stated it was out for delivery. Went back to the facility. The same thing happened on Tuesday and Wednesday. My plants were finally delivered from the Gig Harbor facility on Thursday because Tacoma was "so busy." Needless to say, the plants were dead. I paid over $150 for these plants. I submitted a claim with FedEx, which was denied due to "liabilities" under the FedEx guide. No recourse for incompentent service! I was supposed to receive a package which was out for delivery by 8 pm today, and as usual, it now has a delivery date of tomorrow. Who knows when I'll receive it? At least it's nothing perishable. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any commitment to customer service. Maybe it's just this location, and if so, the manager should be fired! Companies and individuals should consider other alternatives if it's an industry-wide problem. If I could give 0 stars I would. Every time something comes to me, through fedex it's been a terrible experience. It must be the drivers at this location, because i am apparently NOT the only one who feels this way. Today, there was an "attempted delivery." Stating that "no one was home." We've been home all day, everyday- we're in quarantine where the hell am i going to go?! I'm pissed, I'm so sick of the drivers not doing their jobs. Most of the time they're just scanning the packages as "delivered" because they can't be bothered with doing their damn job. And then my "delivered" package suddenly shows up a day or two later. My package for today needs a signature, because i had hoped that meant they would have to come to my door and couldn't just scan it as delivered. Ha! Jokes on me. Anyway, if there had been an "attempted delivery", there should have been 1. A knock on my door and 2. tag stuck to my door. But that would be the case, had there been an "attempted delivery." It's such bullshit. Every freaking time. I'm so done with this locations drivers. They'll "attempt another delivery tomorrow." Why couldn't you have done it today like you were supposed to?!?!! I live in the North Slope area. Is anyone else having trouble with Fedex? I live in a secure building and always see delivery attempt notes on the locked doors. All they have to do is use the intercom. I understand they are contractors. They must get paid by attempts...they definitely lie! My note from yesterday is still up there, with a large note on it telling them how to get in to deliver. They allegedly tried again today. I've been home all day and my phone has not rang. There us not a new note, either. I called the 800 number and advised them I want my package tonight. Long story short, I'm out of luck. The drivers manager can't be reached......what if I was the drivers wife and in labor or had been in an accident? Worst customer service ever. Tacoma isn't that big. I don't care if they're on another route! They lied and made no attempt to deliver it! It would take 20 minutes from anywhere in Tacoma to get to my place. I was driving around looking for the truck after talking with supervisors this morning to call the driver. I will meet them! Delivery driver for Graham, brown hair, 800 sunglasses n haircut rude kid. So, usually they are a drop a box by door, ring doorbell n run. I've just had surgery n can't lift. Hoping to catch them so I could ask for help. Nope. Got this punk kid, dropped package rang doorbell and already near his van when I asked for help. He said "sorry, it's only 45 to 55lbs u look like u can do it. I have other deliveries." Wow, ok?!? Your service is mediocre. What happen to signatures for large freight n courtesy help on large items? He jumped in his van and sped off in a residential area, seriously. Called to complain and got someone who said they couldn't do anything. Way to go customer "non" service. read more

A package was left at the door of my empty rental house. The address on the package did not match my rental house. I called FedEx and explained the error. Nothing was done. I finally delivered the package to the correct address to resolve the issue. If you read this FedEx, you owe me $40 for my time and effort. read more

On Monday I got a notice that a package could not be delivered because the business was closed. Considering the business was open this was surprising news. Amazon gave me a gift card to make up for FedEx's error. I called the 1800 number for FedEx and was told they wouldn't deliver to that address and never have, wrong. We put a hold on it and I was told I would get a call within 2 hours letting me know I could pick up the package. 2 hours turned into 5 than the silence continued. I called the 800 number again this morning and was informed that the package was indeed ready to pick up. I went to this office and they looked around for the package. They refreshed the screen and found it was not at the office but was instead on the truck for delivery. I cannot communicate how mad I am at the way FedEx has handled this. I have always said you find out more about a company when things go wrong and what I have found it is this company has no clue how to handle customer service. If it were up to me I would never use FedEx again. They have made no effort to make it right, the only thing I have gotten was a hollow "sorry". read more

This is the 2nd time I got a "Delivery Exception" that no one was home, except I WAS HOME. The lame-stained driver didn't get anywhere NEAR my door. There was no attempted delivery notice on my door! I had to miss a day's work because of this lazy "driver". I'm no fan of UPS, I've had my fair share of damaged guitars due to them, but I will tell my shippers to NOT use fedex again. At least UPS tries to attempt a delivery. There is a UPS store near me at 40th & Bridgeport in U.P., which I'll use exclusively. If you live near here, I suggest you don't use fedex for shipping OR delivery. I sure will NOT. read more

As others have noted, it's unfortunate Yelp forces you to rate one-star in order to leave a review. The Tacoma distribution facility has unfathomably horrible customer service! I bought two items from Amazon, with the sellers using FedEx for delivery. Obviously, my name and address was identical from my account. First item received on time, without issue. Second item with tracking number showed delivery would be two days later. Nope, that item was marked "Undeliverable, recipient has moved. Please contact us to update your address." What the actual fruck? So FedEx was AT MY HOUSE 48 hours before I somehow magically moved? No, it's that you employ the laziest drivers that put in NO effort. What's interesting is the "error text" was at 5:05 PM. Likely the frucking driver being "over" his workday, so lied about why it wasn't delivered. Their "customer service" line is a joke. The man was so rude and kept talking over me, "Just tell me what needs to be corrected in your address." Listen arsehole, you were JUST at my house two days ago! so i was expecting a package this morning and have been watching it. it didn't on arrive to the fedex location until 835 am and arrived at our business less than 40 minutes later. i don't think so! then i was told that i could pick it up after 530pm not acceptable! so i called fedex and they opened a case and one person told me a reattempt would be made by noon. and then someone called from this location and said that the reattempt would not be done until 1pm now.... i am a business owner and cannot wait until 1pm to start my work day!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have a business account with fedex and i will be closing it today!!!!!!!!! never again will i ship or use fedex and definitely never this location. i can see this is not a fan favorite location. read more
