When I got it back, I was amazed. Not only did they bring the jacket back to life, but they also repaired the two pockets that were completely blown out without missing a beat. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and care they put into their work really impressed me. It's not easy trusting someone with a vintage piece that has sentimental value, but they treated it like it was their own. The jacket looks fantastic, and the repairs are excellent. Pros: The staff is friendly and accommodating. Con: The quality of cleaning and pressing has declined over the last few years. Most recently, my black clothing came back from cleaning covered in lint and pet hair. I have no pets. Also, my slacks came back with with lint and multiple unwanted creases. They should inspect their work before collecting payment. read more

The family that runs this shop was very welcoming and we discussed exactly what I was looking for and what the cost would be. I picked it up a few days later and everything was done perfectly. I go here all the time and the service is very good and they do good work. However, they are currently closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and they have my clothes. Family cleaners is actually ran by a family! Seriously though. I needed a new local cleaner, and was a little skeptical about the location of this. My first time in they were very polite, and happily answered all my questions(yes, I had to interview them for my dry cleaning services). I'm picky. It's not necessarily the price that is my determine factor, but the vibe, cleanliness, and turn around times. I was very pleased when I returned to pick up my clothes I was again greeted with a happy friendly face. We even had a fun, meaningful conversation. I happened to stumble upon this locally owned and operated cleaner. I was using New Era in the Proctor District for years and since I had relocated to Hilltop I though I would give them a try. I wear tuxedos for work so I am a frequent user of dry cleaners on a weekly basis. I had two sets of tuxedos that I had them alter and clean for me. They did an AMAZING job! The stitching and patch was done expertly to the point where you couldn't even see it! Plus the quality of the press work and cleaning was just a 5-star. I would give zero stars if that was possible. Called ahead to get pricing since I have not done dry cleaning forever. Was told same price for pants and shirts. I asked if that included pressing and even made the comment over the phone "oh the price is the same for both?", which was responded with a "yes". Also told on phone turn around is next day if dropped off before noon. I go to drop off clothes on Thursday BEFORE noon, told turn around is is Monday at 5pm! Grrr, ok, i'll get over it. Go to pick up clothes, bill is way high, told pants are 3x as much as shirts. I told them I was told same price, they said no, lady during day must have misquoted. They won't release my clothes unless I pay full amount. Speak to owner who basically calls me a liar and says it is the full bill or no clothes back. Not even a slight discount for the possibility his worker made a mistake. Continues to be rude on phone saying I am confused or being dishonest. Horrible service and pricing! I would pay more to get decent people and service. read more
