Most of these bad reviews are just banging on Fed Ex service in general, not for this specific location office. I need to get a package out over night to LA and this office located right near the airport was nearby. One thing is, the address listed is on State Street, but the actual office is on Max Hartley Way, a little street parallel to State Street. Good thing my GPS got me here no prob. The office took my package no prob, I got my tracking number and it's all good. I'm traveling on business and having a Fed Ex account that allows me to print labels makes the whole process super fast. Billing is taken care of and I'm glad the hotel has a printer! If you need anything delivered overnight, Fed Ex is the way to go. The ground service is a little less dependable, I'd pick UPS for ground. Never had a prob with over night! read more

The worst fed ex location in California, my package was sent from sf with life saving medications that have to stay cold, on the 19th o feb. Still haven't gotten them 5 days later, fed ex claims they tried to deliver on the 20th, 21st 22nd, all lies, we were home and zero people called us or left a tag on our box. What part of life saving meds did fed ex not understand, NEVER use this Ukiah location as they could care less if you live or die! Our regular driver calls us if the dirt road is too wet, and we rush down to meet her, who ever the new driver is he/she lied and said they attempted delivery. I completely understand why this terminal has such a bad rating. They haven't a clue what they are doing. I have no issue getting receipts with the same label. I think the worst part was the attitude from the person not wearing a uniform. It is unacceptable to be rude to a customer that is just trying to do their own jobs. My packages have not been delivered to my address four times in the last four months. Three times, I didn't receive any notice that they arrived at all; I had to check the shipping and tracking details to see that they had already arrived the day or two before. Twice, I had perishables (expensive chocolates and frozen pastries, which were birthday presents) undelivered and sitting in their warehouse in 90+ degree July heat. By the time I got to them, all the dry ice had evaporated and the frozen pastries were defrosting -- gross! And, once, I had an important, time-sensitive package for work undelivered. It is outrageous that I am paying for a service and not receiving it, and then have to go over an hour out of my way to pick up these packages. And, when I call, I just get an automated response and am unable to speak to a real person. UPS delivers to my address just fine. Whenever I have the option, I use UPS instead; I suggest others do the same. read more

I pay $20.95 for my payroll to be delivered next day. It is Wednesday and my payroll is still not here. The 800 # lets me talk to a machine. I would have to drive to the office at the airport in Ukiah to complain but paying for it to be delivered in a timely fashion, and I have other things to do. One of the drivers working here tore out in front of me on S Dora, near the intersection with Walnut, cutting me off and almost causing a collision. He proceeded to swing his truck into a parking space on the far side of the street, nearly side swiping two more vehicles in the process. Don't bother calling customer service though, because they don't do anything for you unless you have the full license plate of the vehicle. Your delivery person continually refuses to deliver packages to our home. UPS does it almost everyday, but fedex cannot manage it. It keeps saying fedex doesn't acknowledge my address. I can't get through to anyone in the local office or the 1-800 number to verify and let the delivery driver know that 1) my house exists, and 2) he needs to do his damn job, and 3) UPS manages to deliver, no problem. Ordered live fish to be delivered over night via Fed Ex. I live in Clearlake Park and apparently Fed Ex belives you should pay their premium prices and deliver when they want....days after the delivery date. I ordered 2x and both times they screwed up the delivery and caused all the fish to die. Both boxes had been badly abused by Fed Ex. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and urge folks to do the same. I paid $40 to overnight an important package to be able to finish a job for a homeowner. It was supposed to be here on a Tuesday, Thursday comes still no package and I have to try to track it down! Local Fed Ex says my address isn't marked even tho I have a larger than normal sign. The lady at the Ukiah Fed Ex says 2 different drivers couldn't find my address, which is a lie because the tracking history says it was only out for delivery 1 time, then she hung up on me. Now hopefully I will receive it on Friday, or I have to drive an hour each way to pick it up. This has never been a problem with UPS, Fed Ex is costing me money! read more

My review is not solely regarding the Ukiah FedEx, it is about the customer service call center as well. Not much irritates me enough to write a negative review, but FedEx is at the top of my list, if I had a list. I frequently place online orders for merchandise and have it shipped to my home. I learned on Wednesday night, 12/12, that 2 packages had been shipped via FedEx. Now, I already am not happy with FedEx because when they deliver they do not knock or ring, just set the pkg on the porch and go. But, it is what it is, right? So the next morning I check the progress to see when they estimate delivery. The app now shows delivery scheduled for Friday, 12/14. Well, damn, I am not going to be home at all, and one pkg requires a signature because of the item's value (several hundred dollars). The app would only allow me to request the pkgs be held for pickup, but the closest pickup location to me is an hour's drive one way! So I call FedEx immediately and spoke to Clinton. I requested both deliveries be rescheduled for Monday. I provided both tracking numbers and Clinton assured me both have now been rescheduled for delivery on Monday. Several times on Thursday I checked the app to see if it had been updated. It had not. I thought, maybe they don't update in real time, maybe I need to wait overnight. So, I went on the app and added Delivery Instructions "Delivery has been rescheduled for 12/17." I checked again first thing in the morning, and no change. I immediately call customer service again and speak with Jennifer. Jennifer goes through the motions and tells me she has notified the Ukiah FedEx to reschedule delivery for Monday. She also assured me that if delivery is attempted, they will not leave the pkg that requires a signature, and they will re-attempt delivery 2 more times. This afternoon I check the app again, and guess what?! Both pkgs were delivered AND signed for, by ME! So, I apparently have 2 pkgs, total value near 4 digits, sitting on my front porch on the corner of a busy street. And theives have the entire weekend to decide if they want them. I don't know what I'll do if they're not there when I get home. The stores I purchased from will be told by FedEx that I signed for them, and it's not their responsibility. Ugh. I've never been more angry or more sick to my stomach about the possibility of them being stolen. I will no longer do business with companies that insist on shipping my purchases with FedEx. read more
