I try hard to support local business, but this one is now off my list. After several poor experiences over the past year, here's the latest reason why: I stopped by to have a simple print job of some labels. I brought my own label sheets and files on a flash drive. These are the same labels and templates I've used for many years. The rude guy at the counter immediately said they could not print them if they were not compatible with their printers, even though I had the info sheet from the labels that clearly said they were compatible with both ink jet and laser jet printers. I asked him to run one sheet as a test. He printed on the wrong side of the paper. He then printed on the correct side and the alignment was all off, as if the settings on his printer reduced the size. He curtly insisted his settings were correct, without even checking. I told him I have had Staples print the same ones, with no problem. His response was "we don't mention 'Staples' or 'Canva' in this building." Well... today I went to Staples, with the same labels, same flash drive, same request. The guy at Staples was so helpful, friendly, professional and promptly printed them out perfectly the first try. read more

Every time I've gone here in the past 25 years I've been unhappy about the service, the end product and the price. I wait years before trying them again and it's still terrible. I recently sent clients for notary services and CW made them both get their signatures notarized on a legal form when only one of them needed the notary. Got an extra fee for it as well. Don't accept legal advice from a notary. They are a notary. Not a lawyer. read more

I recently needed to do a reprint of the "West African Dance" DVD I had produced some time ago in Southern California. The art files had gotten lost so we only had the option to scan the art of the original cover and inside disk and make it fit into the template for Dvds. Duane got right on it and soon had proofs which needed only a minor adjustment and the project was complete. I couldn't have done it without him! Highly recommend! read more

Very unethical that the notary publics here enforce whatever absurd laws they want and refuse to notarize documents that are completely legal to notarize. My ex-husband went to notarize a consent to travel that I needed so I can travel with our daughter and she refused to do it just because she wanted me to sign also (which is NOT a legal requirement). And when asked where is that law written on a government website, she couldn't answer it and hung up on me. I would of complied with whatever law requirements as long as they were an official law as I am a notary myself. Her motive to do this, I'm assuming is to be able to charge us double since it would of been 2 notaries instead of 1. NEVER again will I ever go there or EVER refer any of my clients there as I am a small business owner from Ukiah also. read more

I was not satisfied with the service there. I was a returning customer wanting additional wedding invitations and was treated rudely. The first time I came on 7/13, I emailed the invitation as requested they were all printed and sized to an envelope. All 150 invitations charged $121.50. I paid in full. Had no issues. I returned a month later because I needed 30 more and the same person assisted. They were not cut correctly. I requested them to be cut correctly then noticed again that half were still not correctly. I let the staff assisting know I could not use half of them because they were not cut right. The staff started arguing with me and said well you didn't say how to cut them and you still have to pay for them. I let her know that I sent her the same exact email with attachment as I sent before. She still charged me for all the invitations. And a bunch of other fees and charges that were not on my receipt before. For the 15 invitations that I could actually uses she charged me $40.34. Also, the envelopes that were sold to me were way to large for the invitations. Making my invitations look sloppy. The envelopes I had the first time fitted perfectly. No effort for a returning customer. I'm very disappointed at the unprofessionalism there. Wedding planning is already stressful. I don't appreciate being treated like that. I will not ever do business there nor will I ever recommend anyone to do business there. I hope that customer service training is offered there for the community's sake. read more

I'm with you Brian and Julia (below reviews!). Even a simple thing as a mail box service they can't get right. No courtesy call if you are late with your mail box payment, they just return your mail to sender (I walked in to get my mail 14 days late). You would think a two minute phone call to remind a customer to make a payment would be easy "CUSTOMER SERVICE" for a $115 annual fee..... the business owner, Diana, complains to me she is working 12 hour days.... I wonder why??? She just threw away $115, any future business from this customer, and any positive review/referrals....starting here @ Yelp! Not a smart business.... I called to find out what it would take to have a pamphlet for my wife's sister memorial service printed.The lady that answered was super helpful and very friendly. To bad the good experience stopped there..... when I arrived she was super friendly then I was handed off to the guy who actually does the design work. When he opened the file He made the happy feeling go away :(.... it wasn't formatted properly it was obvious he didn't want to mess with it and wanted to go home for the day. Let's just say I ended up leaving upset and SUPER frustrated. Thankfully I went to Staples where They were able to help me. Won't waste my time again here to bad because the lady on the phone made my 45 minute drive seem to be worth it. read more

Waited for over half an hour for a notary. They told me she was busy and would help me when she had the chance. I watched others come in and get copies done by the supposed to be busy notary. She finally came over to help me and completely messed up my paperwork and due to it I had to get it re-notarized. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TRUST ME DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! THE RUDEST PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET!! This place doesn't even deserve any stars! I am pregnant with my first baby and decided to go there for the first time to get baby shower invitations. I wish I would of looked on here first. So I go in there to place the order and spoke with the owner Diana (EVIL WITCH!), at first everything was going smooth. Diana tells me to send them a pdf email of what I would like, so I go home and spend a few hours designing the layout of an idea of what were going for and all they did was copy everything I did, on to their cheap cardstock of paper and than when it was time to go in and proof my invitations, FIRST MISTAKE they copied everything I did at home and put it on cheap cardstock, they had a completely different color they were going print my invitations on and Diana LIED and said I wanted that color when I never said that, they have words misspelled, phone number wrong and on my order it says the invitations would be 5x7 and they weren't that size. Diana said she would fix the mistakes but when it came time to pick them up she didn't fix all the mistakes. The invitations were not 5x7 and looked so cheaply! She had the nerve to say it was my fault, that I should have told them to fix that! I guess they don't know how to read their own order! DUMBEST PEOPLE EVER! This Diana EVIL WITCH lady has no class, she literally was yelling at me in front of all her customers, she looked like a fool! She wasn't even willing to fix her mistakes, she wanted to charge me more money for their mistakes!! This EVIL WITCH would not admit to her mistakes, she's that kind of a person who is never in the wrong kind of attitude and kept trying to say it was my fault! Than she becomes AGGRESSIVE and rips my copy of the order out of my hands and said it was hers! This lady is a CRAZY PSYCHO WITCH! She must be going through menopause or have some short of crazy issues going on in her head! As I'm walking out she yells at me again to never come back. I will never go to CREATIVE WORK SHOP again and I'm going to tell all my friends and family about this horrible place! Please spread the word and don't go through what I had to deal with. When the work I need done is for a fundraiser or non-profit, they give a small discount which I really appreciate. They are clear communicators, return calls and emails right away, and have been able to do rush jobs when I've needed them. They have also helped steer me away from bad design or printing choices so that my print job comes out exactly how I want it to. I went to see them about a two envelope tri-folder mailer. They were helpful and professional. They helped with perfecting the masters and then ran proofs to make sure the work met with my approval. It was an order of 5400 copies. They accomplished it in record time, the the price was comparable to other printers. Everyone was kind, pleasant and obviously well trained and knowledgeable. Positive experience. Would give them five stars but Yelp seems to misplace five star rating. read more

I went in to make flyers about a one year old cat that was dropped out of a car on my street. I took her in and am fostering her. The staff was instantly sympathetic and very kind and helpful. I have been back twice since the first time to get more flyers made and everyone asks about her. This place is horrible. I went in to get some copies and get something notarized, I was the first and only person there. After I made my copies I sat and waited for at least 45 minutes, while they continued to help other incoming customers. They repeatedly made mistakes in the copies for others. Terrible place, rude staff, unorganized, and truthfully I don't think they had a clue as to what they were doing. I ended up leaving after waiting an hour while watching them make a mess of their other customers things.. Very unprofessional and rude service, will NEVER go there again. I asked them to create a name badge for me in my official capacity as a manager in a local business. They quoted me $20 for laminated badge printed on stock. I went back and was told now $30 + lamination & taxes - $34 - for a piece of paper with one word on it in black writing. I told them no. "Well my graphic artists spent a lot of time on this." Really people? My 11 year old granddaughter could have done a better job. I held them to the original $20 for a little laminated rectangle piece of paper and then I went to Walmart and bought the stick-on pin for the back as they did not have that either! My wife and I BOTH own businesses. We used to both use this company. After numerous (like 20) mistakes on our business copies we stopped going here. They NEVER have things done when they say. I'm not talking hours late, but days. Call first to make sure it is done before you come in. The owner stays in a booth in the back. She doesn't observe, train or over see her employees, so there are constant mistakes. When you address the problem with her, she is testy, rude and snippy and REFUSES to acknowledge obvious mistakes and refuses to give refunds. Congratulations! You saved $200 by not refunding your last mistake and now you've lost $3849 that we have given our new copy company in the last 3 months. I have mentioned the disastrous experiences we had to many other people in the community and NO ONE had anything but bad experiences here. One friend ordered blue wedding invitations. She came in and approved the color. The blue was totally different than the color she approved of. The owner refused (once again) to refund the obvious mistake. My friend is very well known in the community and tells everyone. She now owns a business and they have lost thousands from her as well. It's really the owner at fault here. Poorly run. read more
