Customer service is pretty good depending on what employee you get. It's nice they provide notary and Amazon return services. However, keep your receipts after returning anything from Amazon as I have had several items not get back to the seller. read more

Shocking experience with the franchise owner. My husband tried to drop off a return and asked for a small piece of tape for the box as they said it didn't have enough. I have asked for this in the past and they put a piece of tape for me no problem, even offered before I asked, and others I know have had this same experience. But this time, perhaps because my husband is of a non-white ethnic background (I cannot fathom any other reason) he was treated with extreme hostility, threatened and told they would not accept the return or any other returns he had and would call the police on him if he did not leave. Over a piece of tape?? This type of treatment was alarming and concerning. I have reached out to the corporate UPS store as this behavior is very alarming. Treating someone differently because they look different? Or? I can't imagine a sane person seeing someone ask for a piece of tape and think "lock up this criminal!" read more

UPS in Lakeport and Ukiah does NOT deserve anyone's business. Their drivers (Alice and Eric-license plate is 06376x3) are dangerous and are not trustworthy. Also, the management (Shaun Vipond and Tamara Renner) supports unacceptable behavior against customers and retaliates by banning deliveries for reporting misconduct. I strongly recommend using a different carrier. Also, the UPS Store is part of UPS, unfortunately. read more

It I you have time to kill comes here for the slowest print job in town. It took over 30 min to make 30 black and white copies and cost $7.50. The employees do not wear masks. read more

Apackage was lost on October 18, 2022. They have not even looked for it yet. I have called dozens of times and just get put on hold or told they will call me back in 8 days, which they never do. The package contained a client's tax return and has all his personal information. This is ridiculous the lack of attention they have given me. I will use USPS or Federal Express from now on. read more

Fantastic service! We needed a notary service and we needed it FAST! So happy that we stopped in, to have all of our documents notarized. Walk-ins are welcome, but I would suggest making an appointment online to get the fastest service. It's super easy to do, just call the Lakeport store and you will be given the store number id, use that link to make an appointment. We really feel confident that all of our documents are now in order as the notary was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She walked us through each page to clarify the instructions that were included -- this was super helpful as we were already stressed to the max and she put our minds at ease! I even made the joke that she was on the level of an attorney as her attention to detail is immaculate! Yes, it can be hectic at times, but there's a reason why it's so busy, because they're simply the best! There are so many things to like here. We have a mailbox here and I love that we get a text message (optional) when we get a package. This makes getting all that Amazon stuff even more convenient. There's also the obvious shipping services available through UPS, of course, but this is also a place for copies, printing, getting fingerprinted, notary services, passport photos and more. The staff are very friendly and know what they're doing and the place is spotless as well. I'm really happy with the services and how they're delivered here. read more

I have used this store multiple times and love their service. I am always greeted with a smile and the workers are always so nice.

They lost my package!! I was passing thru town on a long trip and had some packages delivered. When I showed up to get them they were missing one. The first woman simply said it was not there and only because I pushed did she out out any effort. Next they tried to find a reason it had not been delivered even though tracking clearly said it was. Finally when that was irrefutable they decided they might have put it in the wrong pile and it was taken out by the carrier. Accidents happen, but the casual carelessness over such a serious issue was disturbing. They are a shipping company for heavens sale. To top it off, after wasting an hour while they tried to figure it out they still charged me $5 Pet package. read more

These people are California golden nuggets ... just great service. Do zerox jobs and help with the packing properly if that is a concern your item is moving about a little while in transit. So protect it that way is a good idea. Ask them what they do. Also business cards and stationary is at hand for a very fair price and good quality. Well we were cheerfully greeted as We entered the store by two young people. I was carrying my boxed up bike that was already labeled at home on my printer. I told them I need to have this go out but I requested some additional string tape . I noticed just then that the tape was on display nearby. I picked the tape I wanted , then headed for their greeting card display. Wow a lot of them ! My friend and I went through them all lol on some! By the time I got out of there my total came to about $70. With gift wrap, boxes, asst. cards and shp. material .. had fun and then noticed the kind employees had already tightened up my pkg. With their string tape...like a courtesy. Very pleasurable for the way it has become today...i feel lucky if the employees say hi, bye, don't let the door ......... read more

i cannot get anyone on the phone at the Lakeport office to inform them that i would appreciate it if the driver would please get my packages to my door, and not to the neighbors house... just want them to no that i haven't officially met the new neighbors, and that the last expensive item delivered to them instead almost caused a war of the worst kind. no wonder your hiring all the time, sad, and getting bad reviews, sorry about that since i have been here all my 60+ years, that UPS has never had a problem finding me. I went to this location for services yesterday. The signs at the entrance announced that the health policy in our county requires everyone to wear masks to prevent the spread of coronavirus. One sign read We Employees Are Wearing Masks and encourage all who enter to do the same as that is state and county policy. Most of the workers were wearing masks, except for the person I needed to interact with. When she approached me, I pointed out she wasn't wearing a mask. She said, You're right, let me put that on. And she did. I watched as the people behind the counter, in this very small space, worked the phones with their masks off. One young lady had her mask pulled below her nose. That defeats the purpose. After the phone calls, the employees would not wear the masks sometimes. I am a senior and at high risk. Another senior held the door for me. We started talking. She said she was very concerned that there was no enforcement of the mask wearing policy. We spoke for some time and agreed we would both complain. Cases are going up right now in California, and in dozens of states in the country. The science is simple, the law is direct. I will not go to this store again. UPS should take control and remind these workers that they need to set an example and follow policy guidelines to stop spreading this deadly disease. read more

I like to support local businesses so chose to use this UPS Store to ship two bottles of wine and to a friend along with LCo pears and walnuts. They only offered me a two bottle wine shipper so I could only ship the wines and nuts. They neglected to tell me the shipper box would cost me an additional $10.44 along with the $37.58 shipping fee. I also specifically stated that the package could only be delivered on or after Mon Jan 26 and no earlier. When I tracked the package on line the next day, the expected delivery is Jan 23rd when no one will be available to sign for the package. I called the UPS Store and asked if they could change the delivery date. NO. They gave me an 800# for UPS and said I would have do it even though it was their mistake. UPS said it would cost me $6.00 to change the delivery date. I have worked in the wine industry for several years. I know that shipping is much simpler and can be less costly than the UPS Store if sent through a winery. I will no longer recommend this UPS Store for shipping wines. read more
