I didn't know what to expect since I've never gotten a perm before but the hair stylist was Yoko and she was so kind and patient. She helped getting me situated where we discussed what type of perm I wanted. She shampooed my hair and that off the bat was so relaxing and set the tone of my experience. We had a great conversations as she prepared my hair - while doing the perm I was given some nice Korean coffee and was asked if I was comfortable while the perm was setting it. Yoko provided me Instructions on how to maintain the perm and also provided me products to help maintain my hair. My months of growing my hair out and finally getting my first perm experience was fantastic. I'll becoming back in 6weeks for my touch ups. I've been growing out my natural gray but I still have a lot of brown so I'm mostly trying to go for a cool toned bright blonde/white so it blends more with my roots as they grow out so I can go longer between appointments. I don't want my hair to look like a natural gray, I still want it to have a pop and feel current. Deborah was honest about what would work in our video consultation, as well as with pricing upfront. She also told me how to take care of it moving forward and what is need to do at home to maintain the cool tone. I was looking for a salon to go to when I first moved here from NYC 7 years ago. I'm very particular about my hair and need to visit every 5 weeks to maintain the same bob that I want. ESharp is run by one stylist so it's a fairly small place, but let me tell you, it's a very tightly run place. all the staff here are super nice, professional, consistent, and thorough. I've probably visited here more than 70+ times by now, and I have NEVER left this place unsatisfied. I always get compliments on my perfect bob. The owner/stylist is the best in town and is someone who has a lot of passion towards his profession, which I so respect! The only downside is that since it's a very small place (with A LOT of regular customers) it can be tough to make last minute appointments, but they've instituted an online booking system so I always just plan my next visit in advance. All in all, I'm super happy that I have such an amazing hair stylist that I can always go to in my neighborhood!
