I contemplated putting this for a while... but need others to also know my experience. The stylist was very kind and tried her absolute best to fit me into her schedule during a time crunch which I so appreciated. I live in San Francisco and drive to her which is about an hour. The experience the day of was great, except for the roughness on the hair and scrubbing my forehead after leaving dark stains which stayed about 4 days until it finally washed out. My extensions gave me a headache and irritation on my scalp, mind you I have had extensions (NBR) before and this had never happened. I showed my inspiration photos and had grown my hair out for a year and didn't dye it so I could do this big transformation. After the first 2 days I still had a massive headache and the extensions were hurting on my left side but I didn't say anything because she did tell me if they hurt to put oil so I did. She said it would be normal if they hurt so I thought it's part of the process maybe? I finally washed my hair and dried it about 3 days later and my hair was NOT matching. The cut and the color was blunt and just not working. I told myself I could work with it because I am not a confrontational person at all and I didn't want to hurt the stylists feelings. I decided I needed to get this mess fixed, so I went to a different stylist and she recommended I reach out to the stylist and try to get a partial refund, so I did. You cannot get a refund on this service, yes she did offer to fix the extensions, but it's not just the extensions it's EVERYTHING and once you've had something horrible done, you really don't want that person to ever touch your hair again. I paid $1500 for this service Ultimately I'm just wanting to share my story, I appreciate the stylists optimism in wanting to help me, but I wouldn't drive an hour again to have my hair messed up. read more

This was my 2nd time using. YELP to find a good hair stylist. The first one I went to gave me every definition of a horrible haircut. My 4 year old granddaughter could have done much better. I had an appointment before all the pandemic shut things down and she did not even reach out to me to tell me my appointment was canceled, mind you I drove all the way to San Jose and had to pay someone to take care of my son for no reason. I tried to rebook with Selina and she has still NOT answered me. It has been 5 days now but she's constantly reposting on her story when clients tag her on IG. I understand she may be busy but shit if you can't handle booking your own appointments then find someone who will help you. I got my hair done a couple months ago by Danielle! I started out with a deep brown hair color that had been previously box dyed, and we decided to slowly lift the hair color over time with semi permanent dyes to have the least damage possible. The end goal is a silver ombré! So far I have only had one experience here, I will update over time as we transition the color. She bleached my hair first with a more gentle bleach and then we decided to dye it red as a transitional color. This was in February. So now it's the beginning of May, and the red is almost gone, but there's still a bit to go. Once it's pretty much out we can lift it some more. The color was very vibrant but beautiful, at first it took a little getting used to, but everyone loved it! The highlights and ombré were done very well, and there wasn't much damage to my hair (it was already a little damaged beforehand, but I don't see any more damage than there already was, will probably trim a little bit) So I will continue coming back to her~ I am considering getting my layers professionally done as well. While I was getting my hair dyed she also cut another girls hair from super long to about shoulder length with bangs, and it looked beautiful, like a doll! I highly recommend her, from what I've seen, both haircuts and color. read more

I had gotten a haircut elsewhere 2 weeks before seeing Danielle and I was not happy with the way it looked. I thought I just needed some face framing bangs but it turned out the rest of the cut was kind of a disaster...Danielle had nothing bad to say about the previous stylist but informed me of the mistakes she noticed. She was more than happy to redo the cut and added some layers to the front like I'd hoped for.
