Legit Massage + Cheap + Great Location + Nice Facilities Feet Fetish is one of those places that look deceivingly sketch from the strip mall signage off an interstate exit. The name doesn't help. Seeing the words Fetish and Spa in the context of a massage venue probably have most people thinking about synonyms for Merry and Conclusion. Sorry if I got your minds in the gutter, but its totally true! The entrance seems intimidating, with a huge hallway that leads into a huge dark waiting room where they first invite you get a full body oil massage ($60/HR). Nevertheless, this place is a great place to get a LEGIT massage. I opted for a $30 foot and body massage for 1 hour which was fantastic, with tip it comes to $40 which is pretty hard to beat. They also have a rewards card for buy 5 get one free! If you've never gotten a Chinese foot massage, its as much a foot massage as it is a body massage from a huge ass recliner that is kind of gross. You kind of cringe at first thinking about how dirty it is then you embrace how awesome it is to have all your knots worked out, and by the end you're half asleep or asleep from a relaxing hour. This place charges great rates and is sort of a monopoly for a decent radius. The location is just off I-465 (near I-70) and also along 10th which cuts straight into downtown. Although my massages are pretty decent the customer service is kinda tricky at times. When you walk in, the environment is super quiet and peaceful. You're able to walk in the back and get situated to prepare for the massage. The massage is normally good!! They ask what pressure you want and adjust it to your liking. When the massage is over, the person who does your massage greets you at the desk to pay for your service. When I went, I had a gift card and the check out person was hesitant as though he didn't want to take it. It was extremely strange. I even included a tip with it but maybe they didn't want to take a gift card that day but it was completely awkward. They did end up taking it but as I was walking out I just told myself that I would not return. read more

I was cold most of the massage and the guy never even touched my feet. I couldn't wait until it was over. I am in love with Feet Fetish Foot Spa! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did! There are several options. If you're looking for total relaxation, I recommend the 90 minute oil massage. If you're looking for a great deal, I recommend the 60 minute foot/body massage. Just wear loose fitting clothes (and either shorts/capris or pants you can roll up)! All for $30 plus tip! It's a steal!! They also have a buy 5, get your 6th free card! The check in is easy. They accept walk ins but you can almost always call and get an appointment for that day. :) The building space is quiet and relaxing and there's ample parking outside! Great way to relax for a bit! Note: if you're used to "traditional" (Swedish) massage, just know that this is different! A lot more focus on acupressure and stretching but it is just as relaxing! Just be open! read more

I discovered Feet Fetish Foot Spa via Groupon where I had a credit to spend. I chose them primarily because they're close to my home and the reviews were decent. They're located right next to the now-closed Gas America on west 10th street near 465. Despite driving by it several times a week, I never knew it was there. It doesn't look as welcoming from the outside as other spas I've visited, but inside, it looked like other Thai spas I've been to - dark and quiet. I had booked a 60 minute full body massage, which put me in a room by myself. You can also get an over-the-clothes foot and body massage in a communal setting with other patrons for about half the retail price, but I prefer the solo experience. I didn't get the name of my masseuse, but we'll call him John. He didn't speak much English so when I asked him to ease up on the pressure, there was no noticeable mercy. If he didn't understand my request due to the language barrier, he also gave zero f*cks when I yelped in pain several times. In John's defense, I have a back full of knots that he worked on diligently, and as gently as he probably could. It's also not his fault that I decided to climb 5 miles of stairs the day before leaving me with extra tight calves sensitive to even the slightest poke. I was so tense that I got a charlie horse in my thigh and had to lay there all naked and contorted until it subsided. John must think I'm a huge pansy. I didn't pay for hot stones, but he realized I needed them and slapped 4 of those toasty rocks on my spine. It wasn't all painful, but I wouldn't go here if you're looking for a foo-foo massage. If you need some work done though, check them out. The regular price for a 60 minute full body massage is only $60, and they have punch cards where you get your 6th massage free after paying for 5. I was also able to schedule an appointment on Thursday for a massage the following Sunday so it's nice to know I can get right in if I need to. I'll probably come back here. read more

The price is only $80 and with the Groupon that I purchased, it was half that. I bought two more Groupons as soon as soon as I got home. After I use these then I will pay full price. It was THAT good. They do offer a free frequent buyer program: After 5 massages your 6th is free! Don't be off put by their crummy website. The interior of this spa is very nice. This was my first experience with Chinese massage. It is different from American massage in that it focuses on stretching, kneading and pushing the muscles and involves pressing acupressure points to relieve stress and pain. The techniques improve blood flow to areas, which facilitates health and gets rid of lactic acid buildup. The techniques also help produce a calm and relaxing mood. I almost fell asleep during my reflexology session. My session began with me laying face up on a contoured bed/table. The gentleman doing my treatment placed a hot pillow under my back and my feet in a tub of hot water. He then performed reflexology of my head and ears. That was followed by neck, arms, hands reflexology. Then the beloved feet reflexology. It was heaven. Truly. We moved into a mother room for my full body massage. I would say it was a combination of techniques from Chinese or Thai massage, hot stone massage, and deep tissue massage. Just imagine and entire hour of deep tissue massage, hot oil, and hot stones after having a full 30-minutes of reflexology. I did not want it to end. Foot reflexology may not be good for you if your feet are ticklish. And it is contraindicated in pregnancy as it reportedly can induce labor. Chinese massage may not be enjoyable to you if you like light massage. Also, this type of massage will not be appropriate for you if you are shy about your virtually naked body with a male masseuse. Chinese massage will be a great experience for you if you are comfortable with the ancient art of reflexology. This was only my third time getting a professional massage, but out of the three, I'd say that this particular experience wasn't as relaxing or enjoyable as the others, but for reasons that are really easily correctable. First, there were analog clocks ticking away in our room. I personally don't find them relaxing to hear in contrast to the soothing music, but other people might. Second, I had trouble breathing as I lay face down. It would be nice to have some kind of vapor action or something to open up the sinuses. Finally, and this is on me, my back feels like one big bruise now. The massage therapist dude kept asking me, "Is this ok?" and I just went with the flow instead of admitting it was too hard. Here are some tips: - I called in the afternoon for a same-day appointment, and they had availability which was fantastic. -The list of services can be tricky to understand. Any massage labeled as an "oil" service will be like a massage your more familiar with, clothes off. Others keep your clothes on. -I chose a 30 minute back oil massage and it was wonderful. -The masseuse didn't speak much English, so if you need to communicate something about the area they're going to massage, tell the woman who greets you and escorts you to the room and she can relay it for you. -If you need a massage that's specialized and focused on particular back issues, this place may not be for you. If you're looking for a good, general massage, this place is fantastic. My masseuse used her hands, fingers, and arms to give me a really relaxing treatment. -The space is VERY clean and well-maintained....not like some other cheaper massage places I've visited that made me feel like I needed to sterilize myself upon leaving. -After the massage, my masseuse laid a warm towel on my back and wiped up any excess oil. I really appreciated that special touch since I am that person who worries about the oil getting onto my clothes. -The staff was very friendly and professional. I received a 60 minute massage and 30 minute foot massage as a gift. I live nearby but had never been in. I can easily say this was the BEST massage I have ever had. Check in was easy. They started with a warm foot bath and head massage, then moved on to a full body massage with oil and hot stones. The lady got all my painful knots out of my muscles. I walked out feeling like I was on air. I will certainly be back! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lights were a little too dim for me and I think I would feel more comfortable with lights in the lobby. read more

I've had several massages, but never Chinese massage. It is not like traditional Swedish massage. Omagee! It was ahhhhmazing. I drove by this place a million times. It's not the most inviting place on the outside and kinda smells like the liquor store when you walk into the main building. But, once you walk in. It's very dark, but calm and relaxing. The male masseuse was great! I asked for medium pressure and had to breathe through some tough spots. You definitely have to get over your modesty issues and chillax lol. Can't beat the price for an excellent massage! We were visiting Indy and stumbled upon this spa. We made an appointment but arrived early, and they were very accommodating. I liked that they accepted walk-ins as well. The location isn't the greatest (and a pole-dancing lesson place is in the same building) and the outside appearance completely misrepresents the cleanliness of the interior. Staff was very friendly and hard-working. The narrow-minded people who gave this place a 1-star are obviously ignorant about reflexology and communicating with therapists. Different people like different pressure and some are more conservative about where they want to me massaged (if you haven't had your buttocks massaged, you are missing out), so they can't possibly expect the therapists to read their mind. In general, I think it would have helped if the spa educated inexperienced people on what to expect and ask for amount of pressure before the massage. We tried a couple's massage for the first time, and it was fantastic! We will definitely be going back the next time we visit Indy. read more
