I've been here on more than one occasion and I can definitely say that this is my choice of coffee shop in the area! I've had a different drink each time and they've all been spectacular. My favorite recently being the limited La vie en Rose, which was as beautiful as it was tasty. They also have wonderful and convenient outdoor seating. read more

I do NOT like how the owner (or possibly the manager??) of this establishment treats her staff!! I went in a few days ago (date not remembered) and she was unnecessarily rude to the polite, calm, and collected staff. The place was adorable and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and the staff were sweet and respectable... yet looked EXHAUSTED! The drinks were decent, but now I must focus on how this woman treated her employees- who some looked much much younger. If I ever heard a woman talking to my children in this demeaning manor I would go full on "Karen mode" (as my son says) on her. She made rude, demeaning remarks and did not give much help to the employees, although it looked like they were in dire need of a leader. To be quite honest, I felt bad. I'm not sure if this is a franchise, but if someone higher up could PLEASE read these reviews regarding this lady and do something about it then maybe this could be a successful and thriving business. I came in for the nitro, one of a few places offering it! It was very good, they also have plenty of bakery items and some sandwiches too.

The best! The staff at the Skippack location is so nice! They even had dog treats for my dog who was getting groomed! I got the chai latte. One word. WOW! Everyone... go and try it! You won't regret it! I also got avocado toast with mushrooms and a fried egg. Let's just say if I had to have one breakfast every single day. That would be it! There is very minimal seating and the tables and chairs look like they belong in a museum of shitty furniture. Stopped in earlier this week and was super impressed. The details separate a good coffee shop from a great one and these guys nail the details. Look no further than the fixins' area; they have turbinado that you can scoop yourself (not that there's anything wrong with Sugar in the Raw packets) AND sugar cubes. I ordered a medium roast pour over with a shot and it was easily the best coffee I've ever had in the suburbs. If you've never had a pour over you don't know what you're missing. My barista was friendly and knowledgeable and sure as hell makes a mean pour over. Street parking directly in front of the shop was easy. This is a cute, friendly neighborhood cafe with great, health-conscious espresso drinks and a sweet, balanced, and fruity house coffee. I personally love the classic latte made with almond milk (so excited to find a coffee bar that even offers it!). Plus, they feature local artists on a rotational! Check out Kathleen Byrnes' landscape this month. They do have a solid selection of pastries and bagels (gluten-free options), but no breakfast sandwiches yet. Insanely delicious, cheesy, flaky, buttery croissants. You don't know what you're missing until you try one. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my boyfriend also goes nuts over the nitro coffee, available on tap. I have been a Tradestone Cafe loyalist since they opened because it's right in the heart of Conshy. I've always had great experiences there. I decided to try 'feine recently because it's closer to me and I wondered how it compared. I'm writing this review after going about a dozen times in the past month or so. The good: - The coffee is actually good, when made correctly. - The atmosphere is humble, hip, and cozy The bad: - Total inconsistency. I always order a latte for myself and then a second drink depending on what my fiancee wants. Half of my lattes have been perfect and the other half have been miserably under-poured. Literally 2/3 of the cup is foam, and for a $4 beverage, you definitely have to expect better. My fiancee's drinks have been okay, but again, inconsistent. - Service is not good. Maybe I'm spoiled by the fact that Tradestone has been employing the same 3-4 people since its opening, so they clearly know what they are doing and act professional, but even Starbucks has higher employee service standards. It seems like it's always a different duo of teenage girls (likely minimum wage) behind the counter who sort of know what they're doing, but not exactly. Also, every time I'm in there, all I hear is gossip behind the counter. It's unprofessional to be so unfiltered in front of customers. - $10 minimum on credit cards. It's 2016. No one who buys $4 coffee drinks wants to carry cash. Get rid of the credit card minimum and just charge slightly more. 2 stars seems a little harsh given that the coffee is good sometimes and perhaps that should be the true indicator, but Yelp's description of "Meh. I've experienced better" is more accurate than the 3 stars' description of "A-OK." read more

I've been looking for a good indie coffee shop in Conshohocken and I am really happy with 'feine. 'feine has a different brew each day and a solid list of drinks from which to choose. The price does exceed places like Starbucks, but you get a great handmade beverage, so it's worth it. I recommend getting the mocha-- it's not too chocolatey, but it really hits the spot. A good place for coffee! I only hope that 'feine can expand its food menu soon. I'd love to see some small melts, paninis, or salads. It'd be great to draw in a lunch crowd. They do serve breakfast sandwiches, though, and I'd love to try some. The barista did say they usually have more food in the cooler, but unfortunately it was pretty empty when I went just after lunchtime. read more

I was so excited to see this place open up right down the street from my house & was finally able to stop in this past weekend. Unfortunately, the first impression didn't leave me wanting to rush back this following weekend. I was greeted by a man & woman behind the counter - the man was extremely friendly & taking everyones' order, the woman was yelling at Verizon on the phone about their internet being down. In between that, she was basically barking orders at the man & providing short, uninterested responses to inquisitive customers. The wait in line felt really awkward. It's really sad that I have to leave a bad review because the decor is cute and the front two baristas were nice. However if I'm being honest their coffee and specialty drinks are mediocre at best :/. (And too expensive for what it is) Also the lady who I assume to be the boss (bigger lady with dark hair) and one of the workers (an Asian girl) kept leaving the back door open near where we were sitting on a cold day despite us having shut the door after they left it open the first time. I understand leaving the door open for minute to carry things in and out, but they left the door open for a while just talking while the customers inside got cold. We promptly left afterwards. If you want good coffee and good service, I recommend tradestone which is just a few blocks down. Normally I've had positive experiences at this shop but I was dismayed to see the owner speak rudely to a delivery driver, there to pick up an order. Apparently he didn't enter the business through the correct door - the back door! This business is a modified home and all of the customers were lined up at the front door. The owner is what makes this place shine. She is incredibly nice, the shop is well put together, cozy, the Intelligentsia coffee should be a reason to go here... But I digress. After the owner hired more staff (as it was impossible to work all the time herself) the coffee suffered. It's heavily watered down. This speaks of one of two things, improperly trained staff to lack of concern for the final product. I thought it was just me at first, so I had my parents taste some, nope, the comment was "this is worse than folgers." Please fix the brewing method. I was a regular here since they opened but I drink coffee, not fancy drinks, not sugar infused lattes. I live in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia and work in Conshohocken. I discovered this quaint little coffee shop because most of the places near me aren't open as early as I leave for work. For the last year I have been coming to 'feine every morning for a simple, large, black coffee. Sure, it may be $2.65 for a cup of coffee, and heck...it's not even that great. But it was just good enough to keep me coming back every morning during my drive to work. I would always pay with my credit card for my order, which seemed like a relatively simple process. They use an iPad with one of those nifty little card swipers. I use my credit card(s) when I can for a mulitude of reasons (rewards, convenience), so it was nice that I could purchase my coffee every morning with a card. It was nice. Was. The other morning I stopped in for my morning drink and there was a sign posted, right beside the little iPad cash register, that read something like, "Beginning November 1st there will be a $10 credit card minimum". I handed over my credit card while trying to keep my sourpuss expression from showing too much. This was my last visit. It has been nice, 'feine, but it is time for me to move on. Super cute little coffee shop with great workers behind the bar. We went two days in a row, and the man got their iced coffee both times. Loved the rich, boldness of the coffee. I ordered a white pumpkin mocha, and a cream brulee latte, and both were delicious! Got them hot because I was freezing, and they were really good. Sweet but not too sweet. And the place has two rooms inside to chill in, as well as a back and front yard with tables to enjoy when the weather is nice.
