We visited this starbucks on visit to Plymouth meeting. The first stop was dunkin' we felt that was too small, then went to this Starbucks, boy, this place is small compared with other Starbucks. The croissants, coffee and bagel were good. The service was fast but cluttered to figure out which one is your order. I was looking for the potato special but they didn't carry it. I went in more recently to claim my birthday drink, and no complaints - I placed the order with the mobile app, and it was ready when I arrived at the store. It tasted great as well. It's been hit or miss as far as being ready on time in the past, but it seems to be better now. Maybe the new CEO is starting to institute changes! read more

I am not out in the Conshohocken area too often so I generally don't visit this Starbucks. However, this Starbucks is so subpar, I'm happy I don't have to visit. I came in and the line was very short. I then ordered a couple of items including a chocolate chip cookie, protein pack and a smoothie. My friend decided to get a coffee with hazelnut. After that, we got a seat and waited for the food to come out. However, it was a pretty uncomfortable seating arrangement as everything felt very cramped. I suppose that is because the Starbucks is so small. After a long wait of around 10 minutes the drinks finally came out. Unfortunately, my smoothie was pretty average especially compared to smoothies that I have had at other Starbucks locations. My friend's coffee with hazelnut was pretty bad according to them. The staff here was very nice, but it was not enough to make up for the other disappointing areas. Altogether, this Starbucks isn't great as the food and drinks are pretty ordinary and there is little seating. However, the staff is nice. read more

Good experience. Maybe it's me I just don't get the hype of Starbucks at ALL. I had a gift card for Starbucks I thought it had 6$ and change- turns out it was eight two cents. My husband ordered the white mocha drink and enjoyed it. I got the sweet cream cold brew. Very good. My daughter has educated me on many things Starbucks lol. So relieved to see gender neutral bathrooms (insert sarcasm here) apparently this is a big deal in the Yelp check in world. The Starbucks is comfy and relaxing and we sat in the cozy leather chairs. I don't know . . . I always feel so out of place in these kinds of coffee places. I'm usually super basic- black coffee no cream no sugar- can I be any more boring?! I think back to an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm when Larry David went to a place like this and has no idea about the menu. His order was "Just give me a vanilla bullshit drink". Bugs! Don't know what happened here. The drinks are usually good and prepared in a timely manner. The staff is efficient and for the most part friendly and professional in some mix. Today there were excessive insects flying around in the fresh bakery display. I pointed them out and the worker behind the counter just sort of shrugged. There was filth all over the glass counter divider and floors behind the counter. I would take a closer look before you order at this newly renovated location. I'm seriously taking it personally that this Starbucks only has a 2.5 star rating. As it may be my favorite Starbucks. Here's the thing, upon perusing the below reviews, the folks that review it negatively are basing their review off one or two negative experiences. Take it from a girl who frequents this establishment multiple times per week - it doesn't get much better. I will say there isn't a lot of seating room. So if you are looking to post up and get some work done, maybe don't. This is the perfect location to come in grab and go or come in, grab, eat quickly then go. The staff is super nice and friendly. I had a gift card to use and was in the mood for Starbucks so we came here. My husband said this was the most people he's seen in this line. It was moving really slow too. We get to the cashier and finally order. The cashier was either not interested in her job at all or just flaky. I had to repeat my order a couple times, she was arguing with another worker as I was giving my order and not listening. I said I wanted the bacon egg and cheese on the croissant and she seemed like she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to point to the display counter. She then turned away and started talking to the worker again. There must have been some kind of issue or people didn't know what they were doing. When she decided to give me her attention again I said I also wanted the bacon and gruyere sous vide egg bites. She seemed confused again then said "oh...ok. Which one?" Um, I just said the bacon and gruyere ones. I also ordered a java chip Frappuccino. The past couple times I got it it just hasn't tasted the same. The chocolate chips in it taste old. I didn't really taste much java or coffee in it either. The egg bites were good and the sandwich was ok, but for the price we can probably make our own at home and not have to deal with incompetent workers. Next time we decide to go to Starbucks I wanna try to go to a different location, even if we have to drive farther. read more

It's not that great of a starbucks, but it's the best one of the one's around me. I had to drive by the absolute worst Starbucks I know and I went out of my way. The order was taken, but they made some of the drinks of the people behind us first... There was an incredibly long wait for drinks, even though there didn't appear to be a lot of people waiting before us. The cashier wasn't "from our store" so she wasn't sure how they did things there. Some people might consider Starbucks to be a fairly large franchise, so it's a little weird that they wouldn't have consistent practices when it comes to using the register. This Starbucks is pretty small compared to the other ones In the area but I will say that they are very quick with the drinks are are extremely friendly. They have a few 4 person tables that are great when you need the extra room to do work or you are expecting to meet a few people. Both the dining area and the bathroom were very clean. read more

This Starbucks is painfully slow. I am here at 3:30 on a Saturday... and the two people working here are possibly the slowest, most non-urgent people ever. Which is fine, but not what I would consider ideal if you're a STARBUCKS BARISTA.... The staff is always very friendly! Once saw me drop my drink and started making me a brand new one before I even asked.

I've been coming here virtually ever day since my stay in good ol' Conshy. Why? Because I need coffee to function and I like my fancy lattes. I've only had one nice barista and she is uber nice. Everyone else has been terribly rude. If they make my drink wrong, they are rude about fixing it. And frankly I've had two good lattes from here. Why do I keep coming back? It's the only latte place I've found. Today I came in and the baristas were really nice to the locals and were one again mean to me when now it has been the seventh day I've come in. (However, the one barista who has been consistently nice to me is still the sweetest, so THANK YOU!) There is no excuse to be rude to a customer especially someone like me who is always friendly to people. Terribly customer service. I'm sticking with WaWa from now on. Only positive note is the tea lattes are back. I did go in yesterday and the barista made a FABULOUS green tea latte. That has been the highlight of my Starbucks experience. Sad. read more

Changed rating from two stars to one due to harassment from possibly employees (though I can't be certain) with new Yelp accounts. Reporting the incident to Starbucks corporate. The Starbucks was the worst I've been to in a very long time. It wasn't because any drink was made wrong as was messaged to me after I left a picture that was against yelps rules that I didn't know about. I removed the picture and I'm not even sure who the person was who reported it so I can't say it was a manager or employee. I have no idea. However it wasn't about drinks being made improperly as I don't drink coffee nor do I drink tea. My main complaint about this place is the arrogance of the barista who assisted my cousin and me. We asked for a chocolate croissant warmed up and you would've sworn we asked her to make one from scratch. I also had to protein boxes rung up for me by a very nice barista. However the rest of them were too busy discussing their personal business that they didn't pay a lot of attention to the customers. Yes they took orders! But zero customer service skills. When the girl who was heating up the chocolate croissant handed it to me I said thank you and she said you're welcome and turned on me so quickly. Shouldn't she be thanking me? She's the biggest scowl on her face the entire time. I'm not describing her: that's up to management to decide who it was but she was arrogant from the word go. I no longer live in that area thank God because this is one of the reasons. But I told my cousin never go back that location again. She agreed as she was also surprised at the arrogance. read more

And 9/10 times they won't make your drink correctly. The staff always seems lost and confused. Very unorganized and hectic. Drinks are always good here -- try the toffee mocha -- but the staff is a little on the raucous side. If you're trying to get any work done, I advise sitting in the comfortable couches toward the front of the store, the farthest point from where the drinks are being made. That is, unless you'd like to be entertained by a dissertation on why one manager is superior to another, and the other nuances of the interpersonal relationships of the staff -- a kind of soap opera, really. This the worst Starbucks we have been to. After waiting a long wait time, I placed my order for just a chocolate croissant. The cashier didn't greet customers and wasn't friendly despite being early in the morning. She at least took my order quickly and handed the wrapped to someone else (usually the cashier takes it out and warms it up). Well after a while, I started seeing people that were behind getting their drinks and breakfast items. I then proceeded to ask where was my croissant because it was just a pastry. Then a woman said it was next and that she was busy making sandwiches and it would take 18 seconds. I guess she forgot or didn't get to drink her coffee this morning because she didn't get those sandwich order after I had placed mine. Then I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was one. I believe she said her name was KG when I asked. I then let her know it was poor management on her end not to know how to prioritize which orders should go out first. I really like this location of Starbucks...the baristas are very friendly and happy to modify your order to your liking. Also, they have this awesome bar area that I've never seen...so being here alone working away at my laptop, I can sit without taking up a table all by myself. And I don't feel alone because I am practically behind the counter hanging out with the team. Worst customer service. They have a system where online orders and in person orders are mixed in at the same time so they end up prioritizing the online people instead of the ones right in front of them. I ordered two drinks at the same time and one came out in 3 minutes and the second came out 15 minutes later. I recently started visiting this Starbucks more frequently. The employees are so friendly here! My drinks are always made correctly and always available when I arrive. (If you're not taking advantage of mobile ordering, you're doing it wrong.) just today, I ordered a drink that doesn't normally come with whipped cream. Today, it came with it. I'm not allergic, just didn't want the extra 100 calories, so I asked the barista if she wouldn't mind just scraping it off for me so I wouldn't be tempted to eat it anyway. She said of course, and then before doing it said, 'you know, I'm just gonna make you a new one!' Totally unnecessary, but I appreciated the sentiment. Incredibly slow service. Under staffed or staff doesn't pay attention to the customers unless it is a mobile order. Allow about 20 to 30 minutes if you stop for a coffee and even longer if you are having a drink made or getting something to eat. Literally at any given time on a weekday morning there's 4-6 people working behind the counter and this is still one of the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. In addition I rarely get my orders made correctly the first time around. Half the time they forget when you ask for food and you have to remind them about it Got "lightly sweetened" iced chai with no ice. Came with ice and tasted light straight syrup in a cup. Lousy service here and our barista had no clue what she was talking about. I asked if the Double Chocolatey Chip Frappucino had coffee as I don't like coffee and she said no. One taste and I knew it had coffee. Barista said "it only has mocha syrup," apparently unaware that mocha is coffee + chocolate. Meanwhile my husband ordered his drink with light ice and was given one with extra ice. The (second) barista gave him attitude about making it as ordered, and even still it was really normal ice, not light. This location of Starbucks is particularly convenient location-wise and is the perfect place to stop after going food shopping (that's what I did). The entrance is a little awkward because the merchandise delineates the order area and it also clutters it up. However, this Starbucks carried a good assortment of the current menu foods and merchandise. Service was fast and friendly, and the coffee tasted just as it always does. The drinks are good, but I've noticed some of the baristas talking about customers at times. I understand that it can be stressful to work in such a small place, especially when there is that morning/afternoon flood of customers, some of whom can be extremely rude (seriously, who do these people think they are?!).
