An amazing spot for an easy Mediterranean lunch. When I went, they weren't open for indoor dining so they just had a table at the door to pick up your food. The parking spots have signs letting you know you can call to order or order online so you can just wait in your car until your food is ready for pickup! The menu is easy, no frills and you can quickly select a salad or bowl or plate with whichever options you want. I love that for my indecisive self! I got the Falafel Ultimate Bowl. Everything was so delicious. The falafel were perfectly crispy and flavorful. I love that Baba Ganoush is one of the options you can choose from! The portion size was great. My friend and I had some leftovers for the next day's lunch. They also do discounts and rewards points so I'm looking forward to getting another meal before I leave the area. "Best falafel" is a lofty claim... I would certainly not agree. Depends how you like it though. It was way too hard and crispy for my taste - I like it soft. I will say, however, that the plates are pretty good sized (aside from the small tabouleh salad) for the price and there are tons of options for vegans and vegetarians. My order ended up being a little pricey because I got extra falafel and stuffed grape leaves on the side though. $1 per 'leaf' is pretty outrageous. The brown rice was tasty and sweet, the spicy hummus was actually pretty mild, and the whole wheat wrap was nice and big. I got my order for takeout, but I would've liked to dine in. It's very nice and I especially liked the light wood floors. One of the staff told me to stop taking pictures, which I thought was a little odd, but she at least was polite about it. Overall, it's kind of a mixed bag. Some of the stuff was really good, some a little disappointing, and all very oily. I might come back again, but I would not make it my go-to for a taste of the Mediterranean. UPDATE: I came back to give it another shot, and felt it was worth an extra star. My experience here was great. The young woman who took my order was very nice and even helped me choose a salad that was oil-free (go with fattoush if you're wondering). I wish the employees wore name tags because I definitely would've remembered hers. The falafel is still too crispy for my liking and they seem to have skimped out on the rice this time, but it was much less oily overall. FelFel made my wife who disliked middle eastern food love it after one meal. Seriously the food here is great. Hummus, either spicy or regular, has a nice flavor and texture. All their sauces are great on top of the falafel or chicken which I usually get. Their falafel seems made from scratch so has a nice texture and flavor. Baba ghanoush has a nice Smokey flavor from them roasting the eggplants. Pita is nice and fluffy which reminds me of a little bakery I used to go to. The employees are always friendly and service quick. I've never actually eaten inside post Covid so can't speak towards the ambience. One of my favorite places in Denver. EDIT: I went again after this review and confirmed they make everything in house. You can really taste the difference and I hope it never changes. read more

This is a terrible. No good. Very bad gyro restaurant We were craving gyros that is not what we got. The meat is weird and super thin and they put the strangest vegetables in there. Not lettuce, tomato, cucumber tzatziki no, not the amazing things. They put weird pickles and no other vegetables. And I'm not even sure there was a sauce. The bread is super thin and it's rolled up like a taco burrito thing. The fries are not good and the place actually literally smelled bad. Like somebody's underarms. Looking at the food, the quantities seemed bit on smaller side considering what you are paying and everything is an add on. We ordered Falafel platter, Chicken Shawarma, Grilled chicken and side of hummus and pita. Our grilled checken was raw from inside and that was let down. I was visiting Denver for work and was tired of the usual places, so I decided to give Mediterranean a try. Walking into the restaurant, it had a sterile feel, maybe because it was very quiet for a restaurant as everyone was eating in the patio. Also, you order from a kiosk and not from a human. As this was my first time here, I hesitated a little bit as I couldn't decide on what I wanted, and without asking, a staff member quickly came over to assist me. She explained the differences between plates / bowls and the other options I ordered the lamb bowl with extra falafel, and no sooner after I sat down, the food was delivered to my table. From the lamb to the mediterranean salad to the spicy hummus, most was very flavorful. The only negative I could say is that the tzatziki sauce was bland for my taste. Felfel by far is my workplace's favorite lunch spot, whether is going by myself, with co-workers, or catered for meetings. I liked Mediterranean food but didn't love it until I found Felfel about 5 years ago when I started working in the DTC area, before this I would go to other hole in the wall, or chain restaurants, but nothing as good as this. I'm glad they started doing the spicy chicken shawarma a couple years back, and their whole roasted chicken is also great for pickup to take home for a fast dinner. The whole chicken is reasonable and tasty... maybe not as reasonable as Costco roasted chicken but it's good to have once in awhile. I really love their med salad with spicy chicken too, with sauce on the side for better keto-friendly options. If you're not doing low-carb diet, the plate is great with pita, garlic sauce, and sides. Always, ALWAYS, get a side order of the falafels (2 for a buck), it goes great with the garlic sauce or on it's own. Great spices in the falafels. The service is always amazing, I really think Ron and Ina do a great job proactively helping their customers, and all the staff there have been extremely helpful and customer focused. I come here probably at least once a week... sometimes more than I'd like to tell people how often I come here. BTW, their brown rice is not really brown rice, it's just seasoned white rice, so in case you taste it and it does not taste brown-ish. :) I wish there is a Felfel up north so more people can be exposed to them. read more

My husband and daughter stopped by to grab a delicious bite to eat. My husband ordered first, then my daughter. My husband held his cash out to pay to a lady with dark brown hair. She proceeded to ignore him, and continued to help other customers while my husbands hand was still in the air with his money. She then returned after everyone else was attended to and then took his money. My daughter received her food 15-20 minutes later. My husband still had not received his food 30 minutes later, even though he ordered his food first. When he got back into the line to receive an update on his ordered food, the lady with black hair proceeded to assist the people behind my husband, ignoring him (again, from another employee??). This is now becoming a pattern towards the dark-skinned Black man, but everyone else that she was assisting was Caucasian. She had an attitude only with my husband, even though he was nice, and when he asked for a drink carrier, she was rude. The manager (a guy) is a gentleman was nice from a previous experience, but his two female workers are bigots or are racists, not sure which one. Either way, this world is full of people of different colors, and they might want to treat us all the same because we bleed the same. Thats too bad though, because they do have great food. The babaganoush and chicken shawarma are excellent. It is a weird ordering system where it is machines not people, but who knows....that may be the future! I love the outdoor seating and that the food is brought out to you. I do miss that they no longer have tabbouleh. The prices are about normal for this time of all prices being higher. However, it is worth it for the spotless restaurant, and great customer service. The outdoor seating is by the main road so it is quite busy, but still nice to be able to sit in the sun! read more

FelFel was exactly what I needed for lunch, especially after a string of mediocre, store-bought hummus that pales in comparison the creaminess of good, homemade hummus. If this place was close to my office, I feel I would go here quite often at a price that doesn't hurt my wallet too much as well. I visited an old friend today...Felfel. I live in the area and drive by so much that sometimes I forget it's there. I ordered online and went to pickup. This review is during covid quarantine so bear in mind. The online ordering was super easy and included pictures which I appreciate. Today when I picked up my order, they had a doorbell set up with a window to the patio where the food came through. Like a walk up drive window so very safe for social distancing. I love Mediterranean food and theirs tastes authentic. The spices are on point. This restaurant is fast casual, you order at a counter and sit down to eat which I never have because it's so close to home but the place looks clean. Shout out to the order takers as they were very patient with explaining everything for me and I've seen them do that with others as well. I always order lamb because I love it. Theirs is tender and seasoned perfectly. And a very nice portion. I've had different sides, hummus, fattoush, baba ghanoush, Greek salad. All good and I can't pick a favorite. I do highly recommend their hot sauce! I spoke with the owner Ismail today. He's a really nice guy and stands behind the food 100%. You can tell his heart is in the restaurant and the food. We have always loved FelFel, stopped here on the way to the airport because we were homesick for some food. The owner is long on COVID policies and seems to think it's early 2020. Based on the signs on the door, you have to "ask" to be seated inside. Based on the "mask required" signs and other things, we chose to dine elsewhere that felt more welcoming. This is my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant. I came during a busy lunch hour, and boy was the service fast and the food tasty! I picked the steak shawarma build your plate with brown rice, tabbouleh, hummus, two falafels, and hot pita bread! Since it was my first time, the falafels were free. All this food... for $9.72 after tax! The food came out in about 8 minutes, which isn't bad at all considering the slow cook rotisserie that they have the meat spinning on. I am mostly impressed with the tabbouleh salad. It's a perfect balance between parsley and citrus. Neither was too strong and it made for an excellent dish. Also this tabbouleh is gluten free because they use quinoa instead of a wheat germ. I will certainly be coming back here for future lunches. Check them out if you're in the DTC area. read more

The food was pretty good, but definitely Americanized. I'm used to true authentic Mediterranean and this was just slightly below that. Think of it as a Chipotle of Mediterranean food. I really wanted to like this business. The pictures and descriptions from reviewers looked so delicious. Unfortunately my steak shawarma was lacking in flavor or seasoning. I'm used to at least salt being added to the scenery of meat. Traditionally there may be cumin, cinnamon; salt, and a variety of Mediterranean spices between the pieces of meat. There was nothing traditional about these meats. I had the Greek salad and with the dressing it tasted okay. Not traditions Greek either. Typically I never use salad dressing because the olives, red onions, yellow peppers and feta will be so flavorful. I didn't have any cheese. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or they do not normally prepare with cheese. There were white onions and not red. The two types definitely being about a different flavor profile. Anyway, I give three stars because the service is really nice. The person that took my order was extremely friendly. I had an issue with my drink cup where the lid didn't fit properly. Another associate got me a new cup and she was aware enough to offer me more ice. I was visiting my mom, she lives around the corner. We sat there for a very long time. The tables weren't full and no one pushed us to leave. Actually, they offered us free samples of their ice cream. I had the pistachio flavor and it was refreshing and light, not too sweet. Personally, I would not eat here again unless I were maybe trying a bowl. Perhaps things can be added to create a more intricate flavor combination and I can have a party in my mouth. And I can validate those prices. It's a solid portion of Hummus but the price point is high on Chickpeas. There are too many mom and pop places that charge much less and provide a better product.
