Food great! But their ordering process sucks. In the last year or so they switched to a computer-based ONLY ordering system. You cannot just call and verbally order takeout. Now you can only order online - not much help if you are out running errands. OR when you get there you have to go inside to use one of their ordering screens which are often not working properly. Big pain. If FelFel is going to make ordering easy only by computer, get a decent voice recognition app and make the menu available by voice/phone! read more

FelFel is like a super mediterranean Chipotle with way more options and flavors to choose from. So basically, it's a way better Garbanzo. It's a quick serve place where you order at the counter and get your food a few minutes later. When you look at the board initially, you might be overwhelmed, but it's pretty simple to put your order together once you figure it out with the basics (meat, medium, sides, sauce, etc.). In addition to the good food, it's remarkably clean inside, and the staff is super nice. If you're here for the first time or you're vegetarian, give the falafels a shot. They're some of the most delicious that I've ever had. Also, it sounds weird, but the pita bread here is amazing. Since they make it in-house, it's super fluffy and warm - goes great with whatever meat and veg you got with your meal. For the pita bread, falafel, and sides alone, I think this is a really awesome quick choice for vegetarians. If you're fiending for some mediterranean food, but don't have time (or money!) for a sit down spot, give FelFel a look. Fast Food, Mediterranean style! The food is best suited for garlic lovers and anyone that finds lemon juice in their salad as a perfectly delicious dressing. If you want to try something different than the normal shawarma wrap, try the falafel (chickpea) burger which comes with a yummy sauce and pickles. During our visit, due to covid, the dinner area is limited to the outside patio and everything was wrapped to-go. However, the business has posted pictures of the foods. Meh. Dinner order around 6:30. Ordered a chicken plate with rice, fattoush, hummus, and pita. Chicken was clearly cooked much much earlier in the day (or yesterday) and microwaved to heat up. It was dry and somewhat bland. Just tasted old. Rice was okay but also wasn't cooked today. Fattoush salad was mostly onion and some huge radish chunks with browned lettuce. Hummus and tzaziki sides were tasty. Pita was cold and dry. Asked for Dr Pepper and got Pepsi. Honestly, I went here a few years ago and was mostly impressed. Definitely not this time. My husband and I were craving falafel and wanted to try a new place. We chose this place because it was open the latest on Sunday compared to other locations nearby (8pm) We came here and ordered. We asked to sit inside and they opened up the doors for us (other customers also inside). The place was clean and manager/owner on site supervising and also making sure that things were clean. I thought the falafel was good, hummus good, Mediterranean salad good. Rice was very bland (white), but next time I will try brown, I've heard it's better. Also baklava was OK, seemed a little dry, but had good taste. I'd go again, mainly because it's near enough that it's not a hassle to get there. I gave 5 stars because I really didn't find anything wrong with my experience. We were happy and satisfied. The price for 2 people did seem high but we ordered A LOT of good, and I don't think it's wasn't worth the portion. I think it's comparable to many places. read more

I can message him my credit card receipt for how much our lunch cost if he would enjoy reviewing the charges and learning about their customer's experiences. I'm removing a star because not only was my meal mostly unpleasant, they have begun to write rude responses to my honest feedback rather than attempting to resolve or learn from our experiences. I have never suffered this type of treatment from a business and it disappoints me as this establishment had potential to easily remedy the problems we experienced with our meal and the individuals working in the restaurant were all helpful! Chicken swarma was super dried out and served cold. I ate 3 bites and was done. Cauliflower and potato dish had no flavor. Hummus was smooth but bland. Pita was very doughy, too doughy. They sold Baklava that was the size of a finger for 1.50 but only in a 4 pack so you have to pay $6! Service was nice and the salads were good so 2 stars. Finally, somewhat semblance of legit shawarma! I think it the meat was seasoned a little more garlic and cinnamon like, it would have been pretty spot on! That being said, paired with the hummus, it was pretty dang delish! I also ordered a chicken kabob (cause I had to try that too) and it was a little too LEMONY for my liking, alas, the hummus hid that flavor and I devoured the kebab as well! Fel Fel has great food and generous portions. We've used them for catering many time and they consistently exceed expectations, including jumping into action when you accidentally put in the wrong date! In a moment of panic, they were able to deliver for our lunch within 45 min. I have frequented their restaurant many times personally over the years and have never been disappointed. I only get here when I need to come to Micro Center...wish they would open one in Lakewood just for me! I always get a veggie plate or bowl and am so full and satisfied with that. I love me some schwarma and Fel Fel delivers! Wow! I got the chicken schwarma wrap combo with fries and this amazing juice! I think it was a passion fruit juice... delicious! After placing my order I realized I forgot to order hummus. I said that out loud to my wife and a gentlemen asked me what size I wanted and proceeded to offer me a free medium size portion! Felfel represents true and authentic Halal food experience. I have a friend of mine who goes crazy over Halal food, and he definitely loved this place for their delicious sauce and falafel. Actually we didnt order falafel at first, but the worker here hooked us up with falafel since it was our first time visiting here(yeah). Atmosphere is very modern and pretty...the store is very well managed and clean. There are almost 30-40 seatings with bar tables too. We had wrap and the plate with additional sauces on the side. Their sauce is phenomenally good. And my spicy chicken shwarma was one of the best shwarma i had too. The meat is very flavorful and juicy. There is nothing like good falafel, particularly when it is paired with homemade pita bread. That's right, homemade pita bread. I came with a vegan co-worker and even she was able to enjoy the falafel sandwich. The sandwich first starts with the aforementioned homemade pita bread. It is soft and wonderful; full of flavor. Then a layer of hummus covers the bread, then pickled turnips, falafel and lettuce. The whole combination, particularly the pickled turnips makes for an absolutely delightful experience. The sour component of the turnips helps to cut through the fatty fried falafel and rich hummus. For a side I got my beloved baba ganoush. This wasn't the best baba ganoush I've had but it was pretty darn close. A little slice of baklava was meant to be the finish to this wonderful experience but I ended up eating it as my appetizer. Regardless of what point of the meal you consume it in, it was exactly as I like my baklava. Sweet, but not overly sweet and without the rose water essence which isn't my thing. Just pure walnuts, honey and phyllo dough heaven. And also a huge bonus to the experience was the wonderful and friendly owner. He could not have been nicer and I am happy to support him time and time again. read more

"Garbanzo" is trash compared to this gem of a place! So glad I came! Fresh fresh fresh! From the meat to the sauce to the juice (drool). I will definitely be back here... had the plate- gluten free wrap, spicy chicken, white rice, roasted potato and cauliflower salad, regular hummus and got two falafel for free. To speak to the chicken plate: the portion is huge, the meat is flavorful, and you have a hundred sides to choose from; you also get a homemade pita and a large scoop of hummus. Some of my culinary friends tell me that FelFel serves the best pita around. EDIT (2/17/18): We have never had an issue here, until today. I just ordered an order of lentil soup to go and unfortunately didn't look at it before I left the restaurant. It is 100% broth with a few carrot chunks. NO LENTILS. I'm really upset that I just paid $6 for a cup of broth and also don't have lunch no EDIT #2 (May 2018): Management from Fel Fel reaches out NUMEROUS times to make amends and do what they thought was fair.
