I had an appointment here for a Sunday and woke up Saturday not feeling well at all. Tried to reschedule my appointment. I didn't get an answer on the phone nor a text back. Had to send another text before someone finally got back to me. They wanted to charge me a cancellation fee for not rescheduling before that morning. Very disappointing being that I felt sick. So be aware that you can be sitting next to someone who is sick and couldn't reschedule. I have a rare blood disorder so when I get sick, I feel terrible but they're not considerate at all. I'm not one to cancel often. I'm a person of habit and like to go to the same place every 4 weeks without fail. So this isn't something that I would do often. Disappointed with this new location and their staff (except Dani - she's great). In particular because as I'm sitting in my appointment not feeling well I see two staff members talking. Then they start whispering to each other and then both look at me. Unprofessional and rude. Their loss, I'm a loyal customer and I normally bring my friends with me during my appointments for girls day. If you decide to go there, I recommend Dani. She's very sweet. I've had facials, pedicures, manicures, and massages here. Every time I've enjoyed my service as it's a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. It isn't stressful or loud. It's exactly the vibe you want when heading for a self care day. The products they use are 100% house-made and organic. I've had skin reactions before, but never here. As a matter of fact, other spas have left my face looking red and inflamed after facials - I leave here glowing. Now I can't speak to any of the other massage therapists here, but Tsondu is who I see any time I'm seeking a massage. I truly feel like he is a healer in some way. There were moments where I was in so much pain I almost tapped out. The other employees from the guest relations to the nail artists and other massage therapists were top notch. The atmosphere is a little underwhelming as you have to walk through a gym to get there and the spa is quite small but it was worth the skill and customer service that all but one employee offered! I sat in a pedicure chair for about 10 minutes until they ran my water. The chair was THE best pedicure massage chair I've ever been in, so I didn't mind. My pedicure service began at about 5:25 p.m. and it was over by 5:45 p.m. I've never in my decades of pedicures gotten a 20 minute pedicure. They're usually 45-60 minutes! She zipped through it so quickly, paying no particular attention to the anything. Miraculously, the end result looked okay, so again, I wasn't too bothered. After my pedicure was finished, she started working on another client (taking her sweet time)... and didn't come back to me for a full 50 minutes to look at my nails. She said it was 30 minutes. I corrected her. It was another 10 (a full hour) before she actually started working on my dip. She apologized for the wait, but once again, she zipped through my dip so quickly... a mere 25 minutes when it's normally 65-75! I mean, why work so fast now? There were no other clients. Take your time with my nails and do a good job! She cut my nails way too short. She did next to nothing with my cuticles. And my final result shows ridges and file marks in my nails! She said she could fix it and asked me to come back tomorrow. WHAT?! You want me to waste MORE of my time so you can do what you should've done the first time? Hell to the no! She also told me my toes were dry, so I could put my socks and shoes on. WHAT?! Even I know how long toes take to dry and that socks basically for the rest of the day are a no no!
