Folks just charge retail for the filters, no mark-up. Trip charge legit added on, so it's an efficient and effective way to keep my AC running in good shape. I just want to be clear that this review applies to all valley locations. It is not specific to this location. There are three locations shown on Yelp but all share the same website. We have been looking for a new HVAC maintenance company. We have been disappointed in the upselling our current "family plan" company has been giving. We tried multiple companies and this was by far the best. We signed up for their free tuneup offered at the fall home show. The techs called 20 minutes ahead to let me know his arrival time. Upon arrival he put on shoe covers and came in to get a look at the system and understand where all of the thermostats and other components were. He was very respectful of our property and quite friendly. He did the outside work first per my request. My wife was still in bed. When finished with that he came in and quietly did the evaporators in the attic. By that time my wife had gotten up. He explained that our outdoor system was fine, and that he cleaned the coils which none of the others even offered to do. He pointed out the couple of things on the evaporators that others had all noted - one being the lack of a water level shut off on the drain tray, and the other being that there was minor amounts of dust in the ducts - neither requiring any urgent attention. He went over their maintenance plan, but it was an annual plan rather than monthly. Over a 3 year period it is cheaper than our current plan. We definitely feel that this company was more honest and less pushing their maintenance techs into making sales during their inspections. I definitely feel comfortable with this company. read more

Another update! We have an older home and sadly the duct work also needed help after our new AC was installed. Once again, We Fix It was amazing and sent Edgar, James and Larry to help us out. They were here all day and found a few issues that made the job harder than originally anticipated. The team was awesome! They checked the airflow, vent temp and made sure we were good before they left. It's made a HUGE difference in the temperature of our home and they went above and beyond for us, once again. We had a tech out with a few days of our call (they had availability next day but our schedule wasn't open). Daniel was awesome and did a great job explaining our options for maintaining or replacing. We decided on the replacement route and they thankfully had our unit in stock. They set it up for two days later and came promptly at 7am. Our kids loved watching the crane and the whole team were fast and efficient. Mike and his guys came later to get the 2nd project started of cleaning the vents and sealing them. They worked hard and found a few leaks that they patched up for us. I could not be happier with their work and the results! Our thermostats stays 2-4 degrees warmer than before and the house feels colder and less warm spots in the house, it's awesome! We've gone with the big guys and we've gone with direct techs but we've never found an HVAC company we felt good about - there was always something lacking. The big guys seem to oversell and under deliver and the direct techs don't have the bandwidth or the structure to help in emergencies. Last week, it was time to find a new HVAC and this time I went with a personal recommendation from a friend. And man was this the right way to go! We got connected to Mike and Fix It Home Services. They came within a few days of our first call and their tech, Daniel, was courteous, knowledgeable and overall awesome! He diagnosed our issue, told us of things we should be on the lookout for in the coming years and gave personal recommendations with good feedback on why he'd choose the package we ultimately went with. As a solid he came and dropped it off for me early Monday morning at 4:30 AM on the house. I couldn't thank him enough for it. I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. They came out within an hour, after hours, when our AC went out in the Arizona heat--which we all know is brutal. Drew, our tech, was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and got the job done right. He stayed until 10 PM to make sure everything was working perfectly and that we were taken care of. When I spoke with the owner on the phone, he was kind, understanding, and made it clear they would take care of us--and they truly did. My husband and I have been with this company for several years. They first installed a new AC unit for us and have been coming to our home every year for annual AC and heating inspections. Most recently, we needed help with our water heater. Robert came to our home and inspected it thoroughly. We learned that we had a lot of sediment inside the tank and he discussed options with us. My husband and I decided to purchase a new unit and they installed it the same day. We have always been extremely pleased with the quality of the service we receive and the timeliness with scheduling appointments. These guys are absolute life savers. Of course my AC picked summer time to start acting up. Called these guys right away because they've built quite the reputation in the valley. Multiple friends recommended them and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Drew was the technician/installer that came out. He was freaking awesome. I don't think it even took him 20 minutes to get there from the time I called in the problem. He was quick. He worked fast and got right to the problem. Very disappointed with this service. The technician did not complete the job and insisted I replace my compressor, saying my unit would stop working in a few days. He even refused to put the compressor back on until I insisted. On top of that, he never cleaned out the condenser line, blaming it on the water holes. This was unprofessional, incomplete work, and I would not recommend this company. read more

Got a new ac from them last summer. Tech who sold me it was great. Install was a mess left cigarette butts, brazing materials and wire remnants outside and in attic. Tech who sold me the unit came back cleaned up a bit. Fast forward to this summer my safety switch keeps triggering no big deal. I noticed my power bill doubled from one month to the other. I went to change my filter in the attic and the tech that was out a few weeks before to fix the safety switch left a panel open so my unit was cooling my attic. Called the company but never heard back after the gentleman I spoke to said that they would reach out to me for a remedy. Its hard to not feel cheated after being treated like this and left hanging. read more

The service was outstanding. Jeremy and Ralph were great. 110 degrees outside, ad they still had great attitude and work ethic. They even repositioned my unit when I asked! Would recommend them to anyone. The only negative was the price. I paid 13000 for a unit replacement, it was an Amana unit 3 ton split gas unit. When I researched it was a little high, but they were fast. Didn't even go 24 hours without ac. :) But if you live in San tan valley , and you want something fixxed fast. I was pleased with Jacob's diagnosis and felt that he was honest and willing to accommodate what was financially convenient for me. He was mindful not to let my door opening kitty outside, latching the lock each time he was in and out. I paid for an acid wash to sustain my unit for a bit longer. Jacob finished the job and I thought he'd left, but he returned to my front door offering to provide me with their 1 year service plan at no cost to me. Shortly there after the no charge service plan was sent in an email for me to accept. In my opinion, that's good customer service. I will make this company my go to for HVAC services! read more

I definitely would not recommend this company. I am a huge review person and with all the excellent reviews I thought I was getting a good reliable company. My AC went out and I called the "experts" to come fix it. They stated it was dirty and it needed power washing. $400. So you trust them... well that didn't even last an hour. Called them back cause the problem wasn't fixed and bam now I need a whole new AC unit. Oh even though they took money from me and didn't fix the issue if I use them for a new AC they will use the money towards that. Wow. What a good sales tactic. My AC is still out and I'm out $400. We had a bunch of people in and out of our house over the weekend. Sunday afternoon (one of the hottest days of the year) we realized our A/C was not working properly and the temperature was rising. I called my realtor for a referral and she recommended Mike and the team at We Fix It. I called Mike and he answered the phone. He said his team was booked but he could have someone to my house between 5AM and 9AM Monday morning. I totally understood that A/C people were swamped with the heat wave. I gave Mike my address. About 20 minutes later Mike (who is the owner), called me back and said he was running to another job in Queen Creek. Mike said he could swing by my house to at least diagnose the problem. I said great. 20 minutes later Mike came in. We walked out to the outdoor unit. Mike quickly opened it up explained what was wrong. It was one part that failed and he went out to his truck and swapped the part. By the time we walked back into the house the AC was coming back to life. I can't recommend Mike and We Fix it highly enough. Mike was fast, super friendly and reasonably priced. Mike also went above and beyond! read more
