    Run!! They just can't get t right from cars with transmission problems to screwing up registration paperwork!! Spend your money elsewhere!!!

We were told by the owner that it was, we made him aware we would be able to come Friday to buy the car. He stated that he was up at 7 am and to give him a call anytime after that to verify again. My husband called at 8:11 am on 12/9/22 to verify again that the car was still available. He told George, the owner, his name and that we were driving 3.5 hours to buy this car therefore we needed to be sure it was still there and we were going to buy it outright as we didn't want to waist our time. George said it was no problem, he would see us then (he had said around 12:30). We pull up and are greeted by a man who is already with another gentleman starting a transaction. We tell him the car we are there for he tells us it is open and to go check it out. We come back inside and sit down waiting to be able to do a test drive. The gentlemen goes and puts temp plates on the car, came back in, said something unintelligible to us and sat to finish with the gentleman he was helping. We sat for about 10-15 minutes while we waited for our turn to test drive and I saw the salesperson lift up a piece of paper and low and behold I saw the car that we were supposed to be buying. Come to find out that the car we were supposed to be buying was being sold right under us. We got up and told the salesperson that we had driven 3.5 hours to buy this car, that we had verified with the owner that we were buying the car. That if they were going to sell the car, they should have given us a call and made us aware instead of wasting 7 total hours and gas. He told us we could have put a deposit down to which we replied that we were not offered that and that we had spoken about buying this car outright to George already. My husband called George and told him it was extremely messed up that we had driven so far for this car for this situation to happen. George mumbled back talk about how it's not his fault and he's sorry for our drive but sorry does not make up for our waisted time and money. George stated that he thought the gentleman who had come in was us, yet he had our name, which clearly didn't match the guy who was buying the car. Excuses were made, time was wasted, common courtesy would have gone a very long way in this situation.

He lies so much, he probably believes his own lies!~ As soon as he got his $ it was all downhill from there~ I bought my car on June 11, 2019 and it is now August 9th and STILL waiting for the title as I cant get my tags or registration until the title comes in. MY temp tags and reg expired and I was without my car for 8 days! James didin't care. He actually told me to go ahead and drive the car, the cops won't bother me!!!! is this guy for real?? The worst part about all of this is his constant dishonesty and has kept me in the dark this entire time on what the problem is with the title~~~Now not sure if someone beat me to shutting their ass down but i have been calling EVERY DAY for the past two weeks and every time their voicemail picks right up~~~ Today when I called, got a recording saying the voice box was full~~~ This is a complete joke . So much for the promise for the 2 new tires and to fix my AC~~ Been waiting on those since day one. What the hell good is an IOWEU paper from you when I can't even get you on the phone?? Didn't your training teach you that Customer Service should be your priority because without your customers you wouldn't be!!! I can honestly say this is the VERY WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER GONE THRU~ I am now in the process of filing complaints with the BBB, The Consumer Protection as well as contacting their Surety Bond Company. I know that none of the readers know me from a can of paint, lol but trust and believe I would never write a bad review if it wasn't absolutely necessary. The only thing that this dealership should do is walk away and close the doors for good. You are in the wrong profession~ Just sucks that I had to be the one to have to deal with such unprofessional people when this was supposed to be a happy time. Happy??? NOT~~~ Please, save yourself a ton of aggravation, stress, etc.,etc., and stay far far away from Genesis Auto AKA Smitty's in Burlington. They not only encouraged me to take the car I ended up buying out for a spin, but to also make sure I got it up to 60 mph to really give it a test. They also encouraged me to take the car to my own mechanic in Philly to get him to check it out. All-in-all, I got a great car at a good price and only went over budget a bit. They got me signed up with a new insurance policy on the spot, AND helped to figure out ways to stay as close to my initial budget as possible AND get repairs done in a way that would end up saving me money in the long haul. In short, I'd not hesitate to go back OR to send family and friends their way. They have also been in the Biz for something like 15 years and are pretty well-versed in the ins-and-outs AND have many connections within their community. I do wish they were in PA though...I mean, New Jersey?!?!?! ;)

    THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Read the reviews on yelp and and cars.com. We had an absolutely…read morehorrible experience here! I implore you to go anywhere but here unless you want to be gaslit and disrespected. After sharing what we were approved for with financing we received 3 offers above our budget and nearly 8K over the listed price! When we refused to accept the offer both Peter Trolene and another Sales Manager (whose name no one would provide) became aggressive, disrespectful and dismissive stating we were not serious and didn't want the car anyway. The disagreement became personal with elevated voices and aggressive tone all while our 3 young children ages 10 , 7 and 6 were present with us. Of course we left and were contacted SEVERAL times by the Sales Associate Xavier Torres and other managers who kept calling to make a deal but did NOT get me in contact with a manager to address how we were treated although I asked countless times. Additionally no one would provide me with the name of the sales manager who was the most disrespectful and confrontational. I even emailed the GM Marcus DeAngelis expressing how we were treated and no one reached out to even apologize....only to make a deal. If you want a good experience DO NOT go here they just want your money.
