I ordered the chicken biscuits with a side of cheesy eggs and saw how good the grits looked and got them too. The biscuits were really good, the chicken was extra crispy but didn't have a burned taste too - it was just right. The eggs were great, and grits oh my goodness - were some of the best dang grits I've ever had. Also the old fashions were made really well. We got there at 5:30 had to change our shoes. We were seated and waited for a server. I had to ask can we get water and that prompt the ladies chattering to attend to us. Very little people in the restaurant at this time. Decided to order appetizers to try the items. Lobster tails were delicious wish there were more on the plate. I stepped outside for a casual Friday dinner & drinks, Fellaship was my 2nd stop. There were plenty of seats, but they marked reserved. As a single lady, I was delegated to a side of the tv seat. I asked if could I sit where I could see the tv until parties arrived, but no. It took 40+ min to get a drink, with servers walking all around me. I only stayed because I was watching the game. I did talk to the mgr before leaving who said next time they would take care of me. The seats I asked for were still empty when I left. Whew. Fellaship. Great concept. Poor execution. For starters, there's no parking. I happened to snag a spot on the street, and I think there's a garage near by. But in terms of designated parking, there is none. It's a bit of a bummer bc you get used to valet ATL. The wait staff are super friendly. The hostess was courteous and didn't start our 2 hour limit until our entire party arrived. Our server was also attentive. She told us as soon as we sat down that the kitchen was backed up and food could take awhile. The food. The food is really good. Truffle fries are bomb. But I kid you not, it took almost 2 hours (the limit seemed ridiculous at this point) for our food to arrive. We sat down at 8/830, our entrees arrived to us around 1130. The drinks were also slow to arrive. So much so that we ended up just going to the bar and ordering our own drinks. Clearly it's a cigar bar. But baby they need to work on the ventilation in there!! My eyes were burning. Literally had to leave and put in eye drops. Being a cigar bar doesn't mean patrons automatically choke out. There's another way to handle it. It's a nice spot. My friend and I had a wonderful time here last Friday night. They don't accept reservations for parties under 8 people, but we were seated promptly. Firstly, the space is gorgeous. Whoever designed this cigar bar/restaurant paid great attention to detail. They had huge screens that projected the basketball game and a DJ that played some great tunes. The menu is small, but has some great options. My drink of choice was a sidecar. It was delicious and potent, but expensive too. I opted for the lobster bites and the Parmesan truffle fries for my meal. The lobster bites were seasoned perfectly and the sauce that came with it complimented them well. The fries though?!?!?!? Man, these were some of the best fries I've ever had. My friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and enjoyed them. After eating, we made our way to the humidor to explore cigars. I'm not a smoker, but I tried a cigar that had hints of vanilla and it was nice. Overall, the service was good. This place is definitely for the "grown and sexy ". Menu choices were of a good mix and once ordered, the wait was not long at all and everything was piping hot! The flavor of every item ordered was spot on and my medium filet was a perfect medium! I'd suggest only offering the steak sauce upon request - because it is definitely not needed. Kudos to the culinary and beverage teams. Atmosphere was great. DJ was amazing! They did an excellent job with the layout and the decor to create an upscale loungey vibe mixed in with a chill bar. It is a cigar bar so of course there were patrons smoking and the air filtration/circulation situation wasn't the best in this establishment so, it was a bit overwhelming for me as time went on. Food/drink: Ordered the BBQ Spiced Chicken Wings and the Avocado and Cucumber Toast to eat, and a New Drip Old Fashioned to drink. I ordered the Fellaship cocktail which is their version of an old fashion, but a tad sweeter. Not too sweet. I don't always drink cocktails, but when I do it's bourbon. I also order the wild rice and veggie dish, added chicken. You have the option to add chicken, shrimp, salmon or lobster. Y'all! I have NEVER had wild rice so good. It had a honey bourbon glaze, not overpowering but it was so good. My friend had already finished her meal and dessert, but couldn't stop grabbing scoops of my food. I had to slap her hand. Lol! Dropped in here last night after the WFT eeeeked out a victory over the Falcons. Fellaship is conveniently located to the stadium (short 10 minute walk) and as a bonus you can rock your Jersey on Sunday. Service was good, felt like I was entering a night club upon entry. When I first got here the place was freaking packed! The humidor is nicely stocked with a decent section of various vitolas. I would have liked a few options from Drew Estate but there are a bunch of cigars what I would consider "worth smoking." I selected Plasencia Alma Fuerte and it was just a few dollars over what my regular shop charges and I felt fairly priced given the environment. After grabbing my stick I slipped into a barstool fired it up, ordered the Fellaship Old Fashioned and watched the 4pm games. The Fellaship Old Fashioned was a bit too sweet for me and very peach forward. Upon a return visit I would definitely go with the original or ask to scale back the peach as it was a bit overpowering and contrasted too much for me against the cigar. Hands down this is the nicest cigar bar I have ever spent time at. I was stuffed for all the game time food but I will definitely be coming back to eat. I assume there were not enough servers on the floor during our visit so challenging getting things ordered. Many seats will require a tv stand if you want to actually eat. They were able to accommodate us because we arrived at opening. There's wasnt a reservation fee (yay!) However, there is a $25/person cancellatuon fee if not cancelled witgin 24 hours. 3. Our 1 waitress, Brea, was very attentive and held it down for all of us! She was kind. Our food came quickly (within 15 months). Gratuity is automatically added but, it's always good to tip more if the waitstaff was excellent. I hope Brea was happy. 4. We did brunch. The food was hot and delicious. Well-seasoned maybe a tad too much salt. Prices were reasonable. Serving size: not large portions, just enough. See pics. 5. This is a cigar lounge so expect smoke. There's a nice little room full of a variety of cigars. They also offer a annual membership starting at $1700. It gives access for you and a guest to the upstairs vip area and discounts. 6. Social Distancing = non-existent. Although, we were a large group, the otherside of the place was closely seated. Staff was partially masked. We had to ask one of the waiters that helped deliver the food to put his mask on. 7. Some of my guests truly enjoyed themselves and stayed til closing. However, it was about 15 minutes before a waiter ever came to our table. We had to flag the him down. At this point, it is around 9:15 and the waiter informs us that the kitchen closes at 9:30. I guess he mistook "water" for "order," because He goes to the kitchen to check on it and instead of coming back with the wine or water, he informs us that the kitchen was backed up and closed early. Went here to celebrate a birthday with the girls during brunch hours. Brunch apparently ends at 6 PM but by 4 PM we were ordering and they were out of waffles. So ATL really owes me nothing after my recent trip that started at Fellaship. Super hip environment, fantastic service, with really creative drink options. Like, its a whole vibe for sure. And the food passed the quality cigar bar food test too! Together with friends we had fried cauliflower, crispy shrimp, pasta dish, fish tacos, broccoli, and truffle fries. I will say everything was really good with the exception of the pasta, which was uninspiring. The truffle fries were just okay. But, I loved the cauliflower and the fish tacos. My friend also ordered some kind bourbon glazed pound cake....excellent!! The only issue is the cigar smoke. I cant deal with my clothes and hair smelling like smoke.
