After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I find this absolutely outrageous and when I talk to my doctor, he told me that this is the worst insurance that you can get that they're extremely picky into what medication's they will provide for you they look for the cheapest alternative and they're not looking out for your overall healthanthem should dump these people now I know why they change their name. They need to change their overall policy so I recommend anybody who rates this if you are given Caremore request to have it removed.

Frency and her staff truly give the utmost service to not only the patients but their families as well! The lines of communication are extremely good with this company. I have seen my family member go from being very very sickly to doing extremely well due to the great service from Western Home Care and Frency and her team. From the at-home nurse that comes by several times a week to the physical therapist that comes by - everything is well organized and supervised. The workouts are perfect for my elderly family member who has regained strength. If you have a loved one who is very important to you who would rather stay home than be in a nursing home, this is the company that you need to call if you want top-notch service and care! (They may also visit nursing homes to perform the same level of care. I have not inquired.) I'm so glad we were partnered with Western Home Care by the hospital staff upon our discharge it was truly a wonderful blessing! Frency truly outpaces and outperforms other medical administrators that I've had experience being around. She always makes herself available in case an emergency situation comes up. This has truly made a huge difference and saved the life of my family member on at least one occasion.
