My husband and I went to the Fendi store in the Bellagio yesterday. It did not start out well. The man who worked there just looked at us standing at the velvet rope. He finally asked if we wanted to enter the store. My NY husband with his sense of humor said. 'No, we just want to stand here and watch'. The man looked confused, he had zero personality. We entered the store and he had no intention of helping us. Even though, I was carrying a fendi bag. Most sales ppl would think you were there to buy another one. I knew which one I wanted, but I wasn't giving thos guy a sale. (The situation gave me 'pretty woman' vibes) Sir, you know who you are. This store is located inside of the Bellagio, and quite frustrating to find because it's a maze in there, but it's all good. So far, I've had the best customer service experience at Fendi on multiple occasions. I came in to the store to find out about what my options were to fix a defect on a bag that I had purchased in Milan. I was greeted and helped by Faviola, who seemed to have a lot of experience. I wasn't too hopeful and quite devastated for not having noticed this until I was back in the US. She took my bag in and was in communication to help make sure that I would be happy with my purchase. The frustrating part is that it took almost 3 months, and I was told that I can do an exchange since the defect was determined to be not salvageable. Faviola took her time to source my bag, and to find one in pristine condition. She sent me photos before hand and then had them ship it to the store. I went in to the store to pick it up, but got completely side swept by another bag, and was probably stuck there for almost 2 hours trying to figure out what to do. She brought out other colors and options for me and also had a wealth of knowledge on Fendi Bags. All of this help with so much patience and a smile on her face, with professionalism. The most incredible part is that she unfortunately wasn't going to be able to get any type of commission from this transaction due to it being an exchange, yet, she was kind and patient every step of the way. I didn't know this prior, but It turns out that Fendi is quite well known by a lot of influencers as having the best customer service experience, and that stands true with every encounter I've had both overseas as well as at this location. Also, I've seen the SA's being very nice to one another and actually helping each other out instead of giving off that toxic/competitive vibe. It wasn't until I was checking out of this store, that I recognized the first Fendi SA I had ever encountered who gave me a positive first impression of the brand, I have had some amazing experiences and am so lucky and thankful I got to have Faviola as the SA who helped me. Came into the store looking for this exact ring and glad I found it. The store itself was really clean and well kept. It took a while for the sales lady to help me since she was with some lady who was taking a ridiculous amount of time picking things out. Once the lady left the security guard closed and locked the doors which made me feel safe because apparently people on the strip are wild... who would have thought haha. Come to find out the strap on the purse didnt come with the purse and was an additional $900. NO MA'AM! I'm not paying $900 for a jacquard strap. So that beauty stayed in the store regretfully. I don't pretend that I can afford $1200 shoes. (or even the $100+ infant sized Fendi shoes... what the heck - they're going to outgrow that anyway!!!) I was pretty much scared to even look at any of the things you could actually purchase in the store. The draw here is the amazingly large interpretation of the Trevi fountain located in the store. It's gigantic and wonderfully Vegas. Out front, there's an innovative video peephole display of various spliced scenes of Rome. Plus - they have a great replica of the Mouth of Truth - exactly like the scene in "Roman Holiday" with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck. Luckily the salesman didn't mind us gawking at all of these cool things in his store. He even gave a little inside scoop of the Rome influenced decor and he helped us take some photos in front of the fountain. read more

I have owned and sold quite a few Fendi Handbags over the years, but this is the first time I had a chance to actually visit a Fendi Store and it was an absolute DREAM! Unknowingly my Husband and I came in a few minutes before closing time but were immediately helped and greeted by the Manager and had the best customer service experience of our lives! He showed us around the store and let me try on one of their leather jackets which was obviously way too expensive for me, but it fit like a glove and I will never forget it. It was perfect! We got to talking to him while looking around the store and found that we are all from the same area of Northern California! Small world. I ended up seeing a bag there that I loved, but couldn't bring myself to pay full price for it. Even though we didn't end up buying anything and it was right at closing time, he treated us all the same and I had an experience that I will never forget. This was in the Summer of 2010 and I still think about it all the time. Fendi was my first favorite handbag designer and still is. When I went in today, there was lots of construction and lo-and-behold it was for a installation that will go up Thursday May 12th. It's a collaboration of an architect and and artist (forgive me, I forgot the names) and it's happening from 2-8PM tomorrow. It will feature the craftmanship of Fendi- which would be a pleasure to see. Fendi is always a great store for shopping the essentials (so, handbags :D). As a huge fan of Fendi, I was excited when I was in Vegas last week to check out their new boutique at City Center. Their shoes! And handbags! I die! And I walked into the store fully anticipating on spending lots money on Peekaboo + some shoes. But while the store itself is beautiful and exudes warmth, the sales associate working did not. She was an older woman in her 50's with blonde hair, and not only was I not greeted (my husband and I were the only two people in the store and I walked past her several times) but she then proceeded to stand in the middle of the store and openly follow and stare at me as I walked from room to room. As if, what...I was going to steal something? Apparently women in lace skirts carrying Chloe handbags and wearing Louboutin shoes (as I was wearing while in the store) are the usual suspects for thievery in Vegas. Ha! Who knew! Being a woman in her 30's that works hard for her money and likes to spend it even harder (and is married to a business owner who also works hard for his money!), I was beyond mortified by the whole experience. After looking around in the store for about 10 minutes which Hawk Eyes silently watching our every move, I left empty-handed sans Peekaboo and shoes. It was also my husband's first trip EVER into the store; he requested that we never go back. I have to agree with him--never again, and the entire experience has completely now turned me off from the brand. I am not a demanding shopper or customer by any means; I used to work retail when I was younger so I completely understand the gig! I get that luxury often equals snooty. I'm just asking for a simple "hello" and a smile, which isn't asking for much considering I was prepared to spend thousands that day in the boutique, and which I also received later on from the very friendly & fabulous sales associates at the Miu Miu boutique.
