    Father Daughter Dance

Fendley Farmstead was the best location for my daughter's wedding. Charles coordinated the wedding and he did an awesome job. He and the staff at Fendley Farmstead made the day so special for my daughter. Words can't express my gratitude and appreciation for everyone that made me the father of the bride so happy. I highly recommend this location to any father of the bride who wants to give his daughter this best wedding ever!!!

    Rock Barn

    Rock Barn

Rock Barn or The Crescent Farm Historical Center was built in 1906 and according to The Cherokee…read moreCounty Historical Society it is believed to be the only surviving Rock barn in existence. It's one of six places in Cherokee county listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's next to the Canton Elementary School and Cherokee High School. There is a Bruster's Ice Cream nearby. From the outside it's got this modern industrial rustic cool vibe to it....now don't take this the wrong way but as a Walking Dead fan... the entire time I was here I felt like Darrell in that scene where he first discovers Hershel and his family have been keeping "walkers" inside the barn on the property.... So now that I've put visuals in your head of zombies...lets talk about this place as an event venue....first off the place can be rented for events, weddings and sorts. You do have to be a member of The Cherokee Historical Society and their membership is about $25.00 for an individual...which I'm all for because these guys really work hard to promote and preserve buildings of the past. The rental fees are on their website but it looks very reasonable. From $300 to $1200 depending on what day you want to rent it... Even if you don't rent it personally I think it's a cool looking barn and not a bad place for a photo opt....Walking Dead style....

I know 3 who have this location reserved with deposits for their upcoming weddings and they all have the same issue. No response to important questions or requests. Something as simple as providing the contract and receipt of down payment for which the bride was told she would receive "immediately". That was more than 2 weeks ago. Beware, if you want a no stress venue, this may not be it. The complete lack of communication will undoubtedly cause issue's for your planning and a ton of unecessary stress.

It's beautiful but doesn't have a round table which was what worked best for our event. I booked the Duchess of Bedford for my 17 year old daughter's birthday. She and 5 of her friends were guided to the Venetian and since we had a cancellation due to illness, I enjoyed a solo high tea in the Buckingham across the hall. The Grande has an extensive tea menu from black teas to herbal to rooibos. They light a delightful warmer at your table to keep your tea heated. The soup and salad came first. It was all absolutely delicious. Fresh pear adorned the mixed fields greens and the tomato soup had a dash of creme fraiche. Even the teens raved about them! The tower of finger sandwiches and desserts was also thoughtfully curated and delicious. The egg salad, pimento cheese and scones were so fresh! All of it was! The girls were able to each have their own tea pot and treats. In the Looking Glass room, they had a backdrop with props as well. It really was so lovely. Don't think about it- just go!

The owner has truly thought of everything to make the wedding process easy, stress-free, and absolutely beautiful. You can tell she's poured her heart into creating a place where couples can fully enjoy their day. Ashley, the rock-star wedding planner, and her team were a dream to work with. They were kind, professional, and always kept communication open, which gave my daughter such peace of mind during planning. On the wedding day itself, they took care of absolutely everything so we could just soak in every moment without a single worry. They listened to what my daughter wanted and brought her vision to life in the most thoughtful way. The venue itself is breathtaking--the covered outdoor chapel was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, the reception hall was stunning, the bridal and groom's suites were spacious and comfortable, and the lobby and courtyard made cocktail hour so fun and inviting. To top it off, the DJ kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long! And the best part? The pricing was extremely reasonable with no hidden fees--such a rare and refreshing experience. Everything felt transparent and fair. We left the weekend feeling so thankful. I ordered an appetizer--something that is supposed to come out before the main courses--but it didn't show up until 15 minutes AFTER the rest of our party had already been served their order. I had to remind the waiter, and when it finally arrived, it was completely mediocre and not worth the wait. My husband ordered the $50 ribeye special, only for it to arrive noticeably overcooked. To make matters worse, the table next to us was apparently part of the ownership, and they received nonstop attention: drinks constantly refilled, multiple plates of food brought out, and prompt service. Meanwhile, our table was essentially ignored. No one checked on us, asked if we were ready to order, or even bothered to refill our drinks. For the prices this place charges, the service should be exceptional--not nonexistent. This was a frustrating, overpriced experience, and no, we will not be returning! To make matters worse, when the waitress did finally come to settle up the bill, she did not bring a bill and only shoved her phone in front of my husband's face with the only options of a tip being 20, 25 or 35% tip! No copy of the itemized receipt, at all- NOTHING!
