Awful, awful, awful. Avoid this place at all costs. The food took ages to come out. Our appetizer, the pan-fried gyoza was painfully undercooked. Spicy house special lo mein was OK. Not spicy, but OK. Spicy salmon roll was severely lacking in flavor. It tasted like one of the frozen rolls you'd get at the supermarket. The second roll I ordered took an extra 10-15 minutes to come our and the fish was BAD. As in, "This fish was caught a week or two ago" bad. To top it all off, the service was horrendous. We sat outside and it got rather chilly as the sun set, so we asked if they could put on the two large heaters seeing as we were the only patrons on the deck. So I am stuck right in the middle with this restaurant. There isn't many Chinese locations here in Lake George but we decided to try this location. As we walked in we was greeted and was quickly directed to a table to sit and handed the menu. 60 seconds in I notice 2 things, 1. They don't have a drink menu, it's as if how do you not have a drink menu and your located at the Lake George village. 2. The menu is way to large, so many things to order and when we asked what they recommend to eat they picked so many things off the menu. We ordered a sprite, and the lady gave us a few mins to order. In about 5 mins we knew what we wanted to order but it took them about 15 mins to come back and take out order. (2 kani salad, a Pink Lady Roll, a Spicy Lobster Roll, and a Superman roll. Now the decor of the location makes you seem as if your in a lunch room cafeteria, it's so bland, with low ceilings. It's also very bright and it would seem to be more as a NYC take out location then to sit and eat there. From where we was sitting we can see the chief preparing our food. I see that our Kani salads are done but no one is brining them over. This upsets me because if you had have kani salad before you know thr mayo that they put into the salad starts to warm up. About 10 mins later they figure out who it is and bring it over. So now the food...I can't complain about the food, it was good. The kani salad could have used just a little bit more Mayo but it was fine the way it was. They used crunchy on it as well which gave it a nice texture. The superman roll was great. It was a perfect roll for me. Full of flavor for a hot roll, the cream cheese in it was great, and the eel sause was so delicious. The pink lady roll was the same reaction, I could not complain about it. Perfect Eel drizzle with nice fresh avocados. Now the one down fall, My spicy lobster roll....IT WASNT SPICY . The texture I'm the roll waa so soggy as well, and it didnt have much flavor. But it was still bearable with soy sause. In all the food was 4 out of 5 stars but the location decore was a 2 out of 5. Lake George, post season: they were open, we were the only customers. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our drink order (water) was served promptly (without ice). While looking over the menu, we were told that the sushi chef was not available today, which was okay because the idea of fresh fish in Lake George, off-season, on a Tuesday was too upsurge for consideration. Shrimp-yaki-udon: delicious. huge portion. Previously frozen asparagus had a few pieces that were a bit woody, but fresh onion, carrot, green onion were all beautifully sliced and cooked; well seasoned. Chicken with garlic sauce lunch was fine, nothing special. Greeter/waiter/server: was surprised that we wanted chopsticks and surprised and complementary that we were facile . The place (on this overcast autumn day) felt like a storefront. We were treated with respect and fed some good food. read more

We were the only customers in the whole restaurant. The only other people I saw eating at the other tables were the workers. Food was decent but had horrible service which made the whole experience bad. I will never go here again. read more

There is a reason why no one is ever here. The food is horrible. Tastes like frozen food or Chinese food you get from the mall. Friendly staff and I feel bad for them that they have to serve such horrible food. Also doesn't have their liquor license so don't plan on any hot saki! Sorry but I just wasn't impressed. read more

This place was terrible. My wife and I were in the mood for some food with rice and this is one of the few options in the Lake George area. The waitress did not want to be there. She was very rude and seemed frustrated that I needed refills. The teriyaki chicken tasted like general tso's chicken. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't teriyaki. No big deal. My wife wanted to get her stuff to go. They charged us $2.00 for the styrofoam boxes and gave us the check with math that didn't quite add up. This place is not a buffet so I don't understand the charge to get the food to go, but whatever. So I used the calculator on my phone and multiplied by 1.0875 to determine the amount due. The amount due was $51.09 , but the bill said $59.78. The waitress said that was the gratuity. For a party of 2? Get out of here. Fast service! We were the only ones in the place. Perhaps not a good sign, but the sushi was decent enough. The atmosphere isn't the greatest. Many behind-the-counter items are out on the floor in full view of the tables. Not much charm but there is a patio that looked nice, just a little too cold for today. The server seemed a little new and unsure of what to do but no major problems. In any other town I might not have given this place a second glance but the options in Lake George leave me grateful for a place I can get something not fried and actually healthy. read more

Only Chinese restaurant on the Canada Street. American Chinese food. Vegetable curry we ordered was not good. If you really really want to eat Chinese and has to be close to the lake, this is the place to go. read more
