Feng Cha in Carrollton is a bit small but the size is made up for in aesthetic and quality. The wooden design is most noticeable for me. I absolutely love a natural feel to a cafe and I find that in this location. It's also small enough that you won't need to worry about louder customers lingering while you try to do work here. I took my friends from NY here and they absolutely loved the rose milk tea (one may even say they quoted it to be their favorite shop yet) and I'm already a long time fan so this place gets a 5/5 for me! read more

Reminds me all the boba shop back home in the bay area ! Finally a shop close by where I can get my cheese foam fix. This is a rating for that particular drink. Oolong cheese foam tea with 30% sugar and less ice. I took one star off because the service making the tea slow when no one was there. Plus, they didn't have any stamp card reward system yet. Awesome boba place. I go to the one in Arlington and I am so glad one opened in Carrollton. It's kind of behind the ranch 99. The specialty here is definitely the cheese milk foam drinks. Basically tea or milk tea with a delicious thick layer of cream over it. I have had this at happy lemon in Berkeley and at gong Cha and I think they do it really well here. The atmosphere is really cute. Right now they are having free medium to large upgrades Monday to Thursday. They also have crystal boba too. They have option for sweet and lo if you want to substitute it for sugar. Pro tip: if you get egg tarts from 85 degrees every visit they have Splenda and equal there if that is your preference so you can bring your own and give it to them read more

I don't write reviews these days but have to say now Feng Cha is my favourite place with no doubt. I first had a kiwi fruit tea with Krystal boba, it was so fresh and not too sweet or too artificial. I had a dirty boba the next day and it was the best dirty boba I have ever had. The milk foam was a little bit salty, which balanced the sweetness of the syrup. It is simply perfect. I know the Houston location will open soon and I'm so excited to try that one. read more

The place is lovely, it was a minimalistic/wooden style, but it's a bit small, so if there is about 10 people inside it feels a bit crowded. Maybe it was because of the weekend. I've tried a lot of boba around the Dallas area and this one is probably my favorite! The cups and decoration are super cute and the ingredients they use are high quality - doesn't taste like powder. Their fruit tea are my favorite because they use a lot of real fruit unlike most boba shops. The prices are also cheap compared to others and even the staff are super nice and welcoming. I've been here a few times and it's not worth another visit. Drinks are overpriced for what they are. I've always had to wait more than 20 minutes to get my order even when I'm the only person waiting there. The place seems like it's purposely designed to make you buy your drink and then immediately leave, it's too small with hardly any seating. You can't just hang out inside. There's other options in the area for bubble tea that are more worth it, in my opinion. read more

Friendly staff, nice interior design, and AWESOME reusable cups. They don't have the reusable lids anymore and the small dirty boba comes in a regular disposable cup. Boba was a bit hard but the drinks overall were great. Will definitely return to try more flavors! read more

First time trying Feng Cha. I'm a fan of regular milk tea, and this will be my new favorite bubble tea place. I got classic black milk tea with boba. The tea base is really good. Blend well and fragrant. I will definitely come back to try cheese foam tea and other things. The only thing tho, It's a very tiny place. Great for a grab n go. I have to update my review to 5 stars because we visited again 2-3 days later and the cashier there remembered our order! It made my cousin and I feel really special that the cashier remembered every detail of our order, from our tea choice to our preferred level of sweetness. On top of that, I appreciate that she wanted us to be fully satisfied with our drinks. I also appreciate that they do use real honey instead of honey syrup. I love that the cups are reusable/recyclable and you can get a different lid so that if you want to add in any sugar/honey you can. This place is cute for the instagram and shop is clean. As it's new, the team is still trying to run a smooth operation. As far as the drinks, I ordered a earl grey with sea salt milk foam. Sounds pretty good right? Well, it wasn't that good at all. One of my friends got a Thai tea and it was just bitter. My other friend got a taro milk tea and that was good, tasted just like melted taro ice cream. Anyways, my friend and I were just going to find another tea shop to get tea, but our other friend suggested we just ask them to remake it. We went up and the lady said since it's our first time she'll remake it. My friend asked for a taro milk tea because she liked the taste of that one. I asked for a lemon black tea, and the lady said, "are you sure you're going to like that one?" In my head, I'm like, if you know it's my first time, how in the world would I know if I'll like it?? And if you can go wrong with lemon black tea...then it's an issue. Anyways, it's good! Great to clear out that earl grey sea salt taste.. I wouldn't go back for it again but it's good, and I appreciated her for remaking my drink, even if she had to make a poor comment about it. Then the guy comes up with my friends taro milk tea, and he says, is this the last change? Like excuse me! There are so many competitors within the mile, and being so new and hidden behind a big plaza, I feel like customer service should be much, much better than it was tonight. Really like ginger milk tea and they also have agar boba which is a nice topping to go with milk teas. Inside decoration is cute. We had the matcha latte and that was good. Feng Cha stands out among the many other boba places in Carrollton because of its quality of tea. I've tried three different brewed teas from Feng Cha - osmanthus oolong, oolong, and jasmine green tea and they were all delicious and strong. Feng Cha is also known for their foams and unlike other places that only offer sea salt or original foam, Feng Cha has uniquely flavored foams like taro, matcha, and cheese. I have only tried the matcha foam and it was so creamy with a strong matcha taste that paired well with every tea flavor I've tried. The cup design at Feng Cha is super cute and also super sturdy so you can reuse it at home! They also have an IG worthy wall with cute sofas and plushies to pose with lol. Many posts have complained about a long wait time but I did not experience this. I came into the shop with 7 other friends and all of our drinks came out in a timely manner. The only downside to this location is that it does not have a public restroom so you can't stay there long hours to study. read more
