Sole Espresso Bar is an absolute gem. The coffee was excellent, and the space itself feels refreshing and clean, with lots of small tables that make it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. What really sets this place apart, though, is the owner. His energy is warm and genuinely welcoming, and it's immediately apparent how much pride he takes in his shop and the experience he creates for guests. You can tell he truly wants this place to succeed, and I sincerely hope it does. This is the kind of local spot worth supporting and returning to again and again.

It's like being in a caffe in Italy. The service is super friendly. The owners are very hospitable. The pistachio latte is absolutely amazing. Croissants are excellent - I had the one with Nutella and loved it. What a gem!! Ciao my friends, well done!!

Pistachio latte was delicious. Service was warm and welcoming. Anytime we're in the area, we will definitely come back.

A real treat to find an authentic coffee shop. The guy is straight from Italy. The coffee strong and has a good flavor, I decided to try the pistachio cappuccino, so yummy.

Y'all. That would be my whole review if Yelp allow it. This place is killer and the first coffee shop that makes amazing drinks with fantastic service instead of having a cute aesthetic and average drinks which seems to be the norm. Trust me on this...breve cappuccino if you don't like sweet things or an iced pistachio latte with an extra shot if you do. The owners are awesome and it's a great, quality product. For a Greenville transplant with a taste for big city offerings this is a refreshing addition to the area. If you're near Haywood mall swing around back - it's just across from Basilico in the brand new mixed use property/apartments.

I'd give six stars if able. Brand new Italian coffee bar, about a week old. It's on the corner of District Midtown. Small location, but a great size for the atmosphere with outdoor seating options, very clean. The staff are extremely friendly. Everything is either from Italy or made how it would be made in Italy. This may now be my new favorite coffee bar in Greenville. Will 100% visit again.

Sooo delicious! The iced pistachio latte is yummy and croissants. Quiet place if you need to get some computer work done.

Trying different drink options at this most amazing new Italian Coffee shop in Greenville, SC. They have the best coffee, great for business meetings. Indoor and outdoor seating! Great location near Haywood Mall. Highly recommend going and try the wonderful variety! My husband liked it as well! Free parking. They also have a small selection of genuine Italian coffee, pasta...

    The real deal.

The real deal!! Great service and excellent service. Try this place. Real Italian owner.

We found this place a few months ago and finally got around to trying it out! The atmosphere is chill and the owners are kind and welcoming! It makes us want to visit Italy. We will be back for sure!

We went on a Sunday morning and the staff was great and quick. For coffee, I tried one of their current specials, a cinnamon bun latte. I loved it. This latte is for someone who likes it sweet. For my lunch, I got the salami goat sandwich. It was creamy and spicy, and the bread had the perfect bounce. My friend ordered the turkey and fig sandwich, and she let me take a bite. I'd be tempted to order that one next time. As a note, they don't do any substitutions on any sandwich. They will let you remove an item, but you cannot swap. I took a lemon pistachio olive oil cake to go. This was the star of the show. It was light, fresh and moist. I would come back for one everytime. If you're walking down the riverwalk in Greenville, it's definitely worth the stop.

I started with a Straffe Hendrik Quad, which was chefs kiss. It was a yummy treat to start the meal off with and be transported into being in Belgium. Not pictured was the charcuterie board and Brie appetizers that were all split and devoured. What was documented was the roasted duck breast with potatoes and asparagus. The duck was roasted perfectly with the skin, crispy for the texture and seasoned divinely. Yall the potatoes were crispy on the outside, well fluffy like little clouds inside, and had a punch of flavor. The asparagus was rich with a butter and lemon note. If a plate could sing! Zero notes. 10/10. My only draw back was I needed a pillow after the meal. Stuffed was I.

Table of 4, we got 3 appetizers and I wasn't impressed by any of them. The baked Brie wasn't gooey enough, the Buffalo oysters had rocks, and the ham/cheese croquet-ehh-- too much mustard and just not worth it. For dinner we got the mussels, the steak and a fish and chips. Every meal is served with a side of fries and 3 options of mayo. The plain mussels were very bland. I was hoping for a deeper richer garlic white wine sauce but it was underwhelming. My friend got the coconut curry mussels and complained that the mussels tasted frozen and weird, but she liked the broth. Another friend complained her steak's pepper sauce was way too strong- I tried it and agreed. Fish and chips seemed fine. Light and Crispy if you're into that. We didn't get dessert. I had a Moscow mule which was decent but also pretty icey. Overall I'd return solely for drinks. I felt underwhelmed by the food, given the expectations and previous reviews. We paid separately and I think my bill was like $60. Eh?

I was in the mood for some homemade soft-serve ice cream. To our surprise we stumbled upon River Streets Sweets- an homemade candy and ice cream confectionery located in the heart of downtown Greenville. I was in Oh, with the desserts they had ranging from candy, fudge, chocolate covered apples, soft-serve ice cream, popcorn, nuts, chocolate covered pretzels/marshmallows, and so much more. Thankfully my family was there because I would have bought everything-it's a child's dream. At last I got the soft-serve ice cream I was craving all day. Let me tell you, the ice cream, gelato, and sorbet were truly homemade. To my surprise the prices were not as pricey considering they were in downtown Greenville. My family got two scoops in a cup costing $7.95 a single scoop is $4.95. The scoops are a decent size for the price you are paying. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit. They also serve Raspberry Sorbet sugar-free which is nice. My family decided to get Rocky Road and Bear Claw. The ice cream was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. It did not taste artificial like some ice creams in supermarkets. My whole family was pleased with the purchase. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the one member who was mending the ice cream section. She was so kind and energetic, letting my family sample the flavors before purchasing, which a lot of food businesses do not do. In addition, to my surprise, the store was huge, leaving plenty of space to walk around without running into other customers. The store was organized, making it easy to see all the yummy treats. There was no visible dirt or dust, the businesses looked polished. The only downfall would be the parking situation, since they are located in the heart of Greenville parking is limited. I would recommend walking and parking in a free or reduced parking area. The next time I am in downtown Greenville or around the area, I will be stopping by River Streets Sweets to indulge in some of their other sweet treats, such as their fudge and chocolate covered apples. I would recommend checking out River Streets Sweets if you are in the area.
