    White chocolate turtle tea
    John B.

They were still working on getting their tapioca together when I dropped in at this riverside tea place, but they did have the tea-based lattes that i was looking for. Even though I explicitly asked what a "white chocolate turtle tea" is and got an answer, I'm not sure I could explain it. I gave it plenty of time to steep, but when I did drink it, the taste was more white chocolate and various other sweetness and less actual tea, which is not quite what I like but I suppose it's my fault for ordering something so obviously overindulgent. They had plenty of other options that looked worth trying, and tea-flavored white chocolate is still tasty.

What a fun spot to stumble upon in a hot summer day! I live in Asheville, NC and I've been saying for years that we need a bubble tea cafe in town. Unfortunately, that still hasn't happened so I was pretty excited to find O-CHA! O-CHA has some pastries and other menu options but the star of the show is definitely the teas. You order your flavor of tea (taro, honeydew, strawberry, coconut, etc), select your bubble type (tapioca balls or jellies) and if you'd like it chilled or iced, kinda like a slushie. The tapioca balls are black tapioca balls that are rubbery and slightly sweet. The jellies are little square tropical flavored gelatin chunks. I went for the honeydew slushie with tapioca bubbles. They had some awesome flavors but honeydew bubble tea is really nostalgic to me because it brings back memories of my first time ever drinking bubble tea when I was about 17 years old at Cornerstone festival in Illinois in insane heat surrounded by a bunch of dirty punk rockers. haha. Good times! And it didn't disappoint. Their bubble tea is very sweet and very cold and very refreshing. My husband ordered the coconut with jellies. We were both pleased but both wished we had ordered the small sizes because they were soooo sweet. I was happy too because of it's thick creamy texture, it really filled me up and satisfied both my hunger and my thirst. This place is super, duper cute. If I lived in Greenville, I wouldn't visit often but I would be really happy every time that I did. Yummy!

Tons of flavors to chose from! I love how you can customize the tea choice and add tapioca pearls or jellies. They also had frappe versions of the teas, perfect for a hot day! I selected a cold mango tea it was very sweet and I wish I was given the choice to make it not so sweet. There's lots of awesome flavors like honeydew and strawberry. The staff is very helpful if you're deciding between items. The inside is very cute and it's ideal location for walking up and down Main Street.

A beverage girly's kryptonite! What's more fun than a bubble tea?? I love stopping here for a little afternoon pick-me-up, and the taro milk tea with tapioca pearls is my go-to. I love that they've recently added chairs, tables, and umbrellas to the outside area so you can enjoy your treat while looking out over the Reedy River and people watching the Swamp Rabbit Trail!

Love this place! It was my first time and cashier Mary was so helpful as she guided me through the many options. Be sure to have a mask, but if you don't, they will give you one. I can't remember the name of my tea--think Mango, but it was good and I had the fun jellies at the bottom. Get the drink and, then, people watch.

    Pineapple tea.

The pineapple tea under the black or green tea series was really good. The significant other really liked the tea as he said he could taste both the pineapple flavoring and tea. It's seldom that he's able to taste the actual tea in a drink bc it's overwhelmed by something else. He also liked how there was just the right amt of ice. Can ya tell he def likes this place?! :) Toppings are an extra $0.25 to $0.50. O-CHA also has light snacks and food as well. Btw, there's a 10% check in discount or the student discount. O-CHA is right by Falls Park in the Arts District.

Trendy little spot in the midst of downtown Greenville. One of my favorite places to treat myself! The workers are very knowledgeable & helpful in guiding you to pick the best tea to fit your tastebuds. I also have tried their cinnamon buns & they warm it up & make it indubitably yummy :)

My second or third time here at O-cha. And it has not disappointed. I ordered the blended lychee green tea with fruit jellies. My husband ordered the blended taro milk tea. Both taste delicious even on chilly day in Greenville! Great staff, though it was slightly crowded its well worth the wait. So enjoy the 5 stars guys keep up the great work!

This place was absolutely amazing . I loved the atmosphere it gave off such good vibes . Everything was super cute inside this place . This actually was my first time trying O-CHA tea bar . In the mist of my confusion on what to try , the girl at the front counter was amazing with helping me decide what to try. I felt like it took me forever to decide what I wanted but she was really patient and understanding. She recommended that I try the passion fruit bubble tea which was both flavorful and fun to drink with the cherry balls that just explode in your Mouth . Definitely will be trying this place again in the near future . Keep being amazing !

After visiting recently, more flavors have been added along with other alternatives to the tapioca pearls. Their blended drinks have become one of my favorites again. The lavendar milk tea is my go to.

Yay, yay, yay! Boba Tea and Mochi Ice Cream? Yes, please! Every time I leave Augusta for a larger city I am on the look out for a place to get some Boba. This time, however, I found it without even looking! While checking into our lunch location, the taco place next door, I noticed this location pop up as a check in location so I knew it had to be nearby. Little did I know it was on the other side of the wall! After our walk around the Falls Park we decided it was time to try them it and I'm glad that we did. The staff were friendly and helpful. The options abounded. If, no, when I'm in Greenville next I'm going to have to stop in again!

Black tea with passionfruit. Not very dark in color for black tea.

We went to the peace center for a show and after we decided to try this boba place out. Not a fan at all. First they ran out of boba so there was a wait for our drinks because of that. I got black tea with passionfruit. The tea was ok but very light in color. Have no idea if there was any tea in it. The boba was the worst boba I have ever eaten. My husband got a orange dream blended boba and his did not have a slushy texture at all. It was like they made the drink 20 minutes earlier and let it sit and melt. He did not enjoy it. Needless to say we wont be returning

The one thing I would offer as constructive criticism is really watch the amount of dry oregano you add after the fact. Most of what we received had more than a dusting, which isn't pleasant with dried herbs. (Note, I love oregano and cook with it all the time. This was just excessive). The other thing I would note is there isn't that spirit of hospitality when you are there, which is what the Greeks are known for. Service was I'd say a bit below average- for example, we ordered a bunch of appetizers, and were done with quite a bit of it. When our food came out the waitress tried to deliver all the food on an already crowded table. We had to ask her to remove the dirty, empty plates first. We also had people run out of water, and she never came back to refill. The other thing was it was clearly a celebratory dinner. It would have been nice to at least ask what was going on. Not looking for anything, but typically a server would at least chat you up. All that said, we will be back and recommend this place to others. Would just recommend tasting the food before it does out to make sure its not caked with dried oregano, and bring a little more of that Greek spirit to the business.

It did not come with rice, but perhaps that was not so bad as ordering a naan turned out to be well worth it. A gigantic bread, it was delightfully charred on the outside and soft on the inside, and was just about right for mopping up a full plate of lentils.
