We truly cannot care for anyone else until we attend to our basic needs, like our health. Recently, I had some experiences that made me rethink and realize the fragility of one's health. I found this little clinic from word of mouth, Gabriel mentioned it to me. They have great hours, take my insurance, and have the best team. A caring team! My principal complaint when I made the initial appointment was for pain management relief from low iron levels. My hemoglobin levels were way below average, actual at 6. Yes 6! This is the reason for the pain in all four of my limbs. The low iron was causing irregular sleep patterns or no sleep, breathing issues, and a few other symptoms. But one needs "sleep," to survive. The doctor did blood tests, and offered the use of steroids to deal with the pain from low iron issues, so at least I could sleep. I was offered the chance to have a steroid shot and another pain medicine via my vein. These shots were reasonable at $50 each with payment taken at the time of service. It's been a little over a month that I've been able to make this office work for me. The staff is again very kind. While I've had to back off the shots while awaiting my first iron infusion the little bit of relief for the physical pain that comes with "low iron," was at least partially relieved due to the staff here and their recommendations for my health. We have but fleeting moments in life, during this phase and small moments of my life it was truly life changing. Just having someone that cared while awaiting the medical treatments was a god send to me . Pain is a mind numbing experience and really shakes an individual to their core . The staff and all their ability to care truly shows in their service to helping others that are in pain and need no matter what their condition or circumstances. If you live in this area and need immediate assistance for medical treatment and are awaiting something give a call . There are snacks and drinks they supply and there's a call button if you feel like anything is off. We got the Health & Fitness fuze and an additional bag of B12 for all the vitamins and goodness. There is a local Vegas discount just FYI (and a Yelp check-in for $5 off too). I did warn I have tough veins as when I'm usually drawing blood, they need a few pokes to get it right. I usually say that right away in case there is someone that can handle that really well. Unfortunately, I was poked 3 times before the IV stuck around the ventricle. My partner also had problems with his IV where it wasn't flowing in but getting to his muscle instead. Luckily the IV veteran we were with noticed how strange he wasn't flowing. His forearm got tense and it started swelling up like Popeye the cartoon literally. When they fixed it, the fluid was flowing so fast. For me, going through both bags took about an 45 minutes to go through. I didn't feel the effects immediately, but after the weekend of festivities, I will say I didn't feel as groggy as I have in the past!

When I first came in during late 2025, I had already spent years trying to solve my pain. I had completed two large NUCCA treatment packages, maintained a chiropractic membership elsewhere for regular adjustments twice a week, and tried other highly rated and expensive chiropractic/physical therapy programs. Despite all of that effort, nothing truly seemed to move the needle. At my worst, everyday life had become painful. Getting out of bed hurt. I started developing plantar fasciitis. Loading or unloading the dishwasher aggravated my hip hinge, sweeping became painful, and even bringing groceries into the house would leave me needing to lie down with a heating pad or therapeutic trigger-point mat. Cooking dinner triggered throbbing back pain that often lasted through the night. Sleep was difficult, and for years I relied on weekly 90-minute massage appointments including deep tissue, cupping, electro-stimulation, and stretching simply to function and get enough relief to rest. They do an incredible job tracking each client's progress, managing the flow of patients, and somehow still making everyone feel cared for. They guided me through decompression therapy, laser treatment for inflammation, scraping with cooling gel, and exercises tailored to my needs. Whenever I mentioned a new area of pain, they quickly modified my exercises and adapted my program. They are also simply wonderful humans who listen to everyone's silly stories and make the environment feel positive and supportive. I completed the recommended 28 decompression sessions, attending three times per week. After about a month, I noticed meaningful improvement. My hip hinge pain reduced, I could go longer throughout the day without needing my massage tools, and one day I realized I had no pain at all. It honestly felt strange because chronic pain had become such a normal part of my life that I forgot what it felt like not to have it. Today, I'm walking five miles every morning with very little pain, attending Pilates classes multiple times per week, and continuing my stretches and exercises to build strength and support my spine. Do I still have some back pain? Yes. But my improvement has been significant, and my quality of life is dramatically better. I also appreciated seeing the office continue to invest in clients during my time there through updated equipment, after-hours yoga classes, Galentine's events, and other complimentary opportunities that made the experience feel more community-centered and supportive.
