In town for a wedding, we had an afternoon to kill. 6 adults, a 4 year old and a toddler, we worked our way along the course. The holes are each different and challenging, and we had a lot of laughs and enjoyed the fresh spring air and sunshine. We enjoyed treats from the snack bar, hot dogs and hamburgers, and some tasty ice cream. A gazebo provided seating and a nice spot to relax. read more

Fenway Par 3. My husband and I went yesterday. The greens are a mess. More dirt than grass. The benches at each hole are falling apart. The trash barrels at each hole were full and running over. One hole didn't have a trash barrel and there was bottles and cans piled behind the bench. There was trash on the fairway due to overflow of barrels and people just leaving half drank water bottles. Homemade ice cream is the star but families love it for the mini golf and driving range and chip putt. I enjoyed the chocolate mousse with raspberry. My son had moose tracks. Friend had double trouble. It is just all so good. Creamy and full of flavor. read more

Did a round of par 3 . Course was not in real good shape. A lot of debris on greens and rubber tees were really tattered or non-existent.

Came here on the Memorial Day as many other attractions were closed. Very affordable and great fun for the entire family! My husband and the boys first did the driving range while I sat on a bench in a shade, which was a huge plus during a warm day and then we all played mini golf. The staff is very friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the ice cream is delicious. Plenty of parking. read more

I don't know much about the pitch and putt stuff but what I do know is you can get one of the very best root beer floats as well as soft serve ice cream there and for me, that's why I am a fan of Fenway. I have tried the Sundae's as well and they will more than cure your desire for that particular delight. It's close and convenient to where I live, so during those dog days of summer when nothing else will do, a Fenway ice cream is where you will usually find me. read more

Writing this review for Pine Knoll par 3 course. Have been 2 times, both around 10am. Very friendly lady working and always helps us out! $12 for 18 holes during the week. $2 club rental $1 club cart rental Coupons for free cart/club rental are online. Good little course for just a quick round. Usually takes about 2 hours for us, we hit a few balls...especially if we don't like the first drive. But there's rarely ever anyone directly behind you so it's nice to have some time to work on some things in your game. Or easy course for beginners. read more

I've been to the driving range, pitch & putt, and mini golf here and I've never been disappointed. They offer different size buckets for the driving range at reasonable prices, and the pitch & putt course has 18 holes and are well distanced. The only downside would be the overflow of leaves piled up on the course in the fall, but other than that it's a good way to spend an hour or so and work on your play. The mini golf is also lots of fun for folks who don't want to do anything too serious. They provide balls for both pitch & putt and mini golf which you have to return after you're done. The employees are pretty friendly and helpful. I've been coming here every week for the range and for pitch & putt, but now they've reduced their hours for the winter season and are only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. read more

Hole-in-one, if you're lucky. All-in-one, even if you're not. Fenway has everything at one spot. Semi-adventure mini-golf, pitch & putt, a driving range, soft serve and standard golf range, grilled, snack bar items (read: burgers and dogs). Fun for the whole family, even when you can't agree on one thing. (and right next door is a Par 3 course and a batting cage) Mini golf and chip/pitch & putt are only 8 bucks which leaves you plenty of cash for snacks afterwards. (Kids under 12 are $5) The mini-golf was revamped a few years back, revitalizing a pretty shoddy course. The issue now though, is if you get stuck behind slow people or if they're really busy, there is no way to skip ahead. You can't get around without walking through so you're pretty much stuck. It's not a terribly difficult course so if you want a little challenge, opt for pitch & putt. All-in-all, not bad. A good price and plenty of options and plenty of soft-serve cones to put a smile on your face after a less-than-stellar round. If you go on a summer evening, load up with big spray, this place is a mosquito farm and you'll end up their dinner. read more

Over the years I've done pretty much everything you can do here and at Pine Knoll (which is around the corner up the hill.) This is a popular summer spot for the area. There's pretty much something for everyone assuming they like to hit things with a stick or enjoy good soft serve. Fenway Golf is a great warm-weather destination for almost everyone. The facility offers a mini-golf course, a pitch-and-putt course, and a driving range... plus refreshments including some great soft-serve ice cream that really hits the spot after a round of 18 with the putter or the wedge. The 18-hole pitch-and-putt course is fun to play, although it is showing signs of wear and tear. Some plastic tees are broken, some greens are in rough shape, and some tee boxes are uneven. Despite these flaws, the course is a fair challenge and offers sand traps, tree hazards, and even a water hazard on the home hole at 18. If mini-golf is more your thing, there's a nice course to play here as well. It tends to be frequently busy, so be sure to allow some extra time in your outing to account for busy groups ahead of you. Pricing for mini-golf (and the pitch-and-putt course) is $9 for adults and a bit less for kids. I've had fun experiences during each visit here, and I recommend it to anyone looking to spend a fun afternoon or evening with either family or friends. read more

This review solely speaks to the driving range. Terribly ripped mats, rocks everywhere, surefire way to ruin your clubs while hitting the cracked and warped balls from the mid 90's. Honestly, if you don't take golf seriously, go ahead, take some shots here if you are using the clubs supplied at the range. If you do take golf seriously, drive down the road to CC of Wilbraham, the range is cheaper, you hit off grass, and the balls are almost all brand new range balls. So disappointed in this range. read more

Have been coming here for soft serve ice cream for years, the flavors are great. Unfortunately they've decided to start cracking down on the portions. The soft serve still tastes great, but now the portion is a joke. If Rogers in Chicopee wasn't such a drive it would be my go to place, but this is close. Looks like I have no reason to stop here anymore and $2.50 should get you more than about 2 ounces of whipped air dairy product. read more

Great place to go and get some ice cream after a lovely round of mini golf! They offer a great choice of ice cream, so many flavors it's hard to decide. They also recently started carrying hard ice cream, maybe a year or two ago. I have tried it, and it is extremely rich, top notch ice cream. I will not get it every time though, because it is expensive. The soft serve is also of great quality, one of my favorites is the black raspberry, in a waffle cone, with chocolate sprinkles. I have some family up in western mass, and we go here almost every time I visit! Just make sure to load up on the bug spray, or you will get eaten alive. I have been down the street to mountain view, although I do like Fenway much better as they have a larger variety of choices and everything is less artificial. read more

I have to put this post in context : This is from the perspective of a GOLFER. If I were rating this place as a family entertainment center (i.e. mini-golf, pitch & putt, soft-serve), the comments would be different. As a GOLFER, I think 2 stars is pretty generous. I live close by. I'd REALLY like to have a place to just go work on the swing a couple of times a week. I'm an avid golfer who doesn't want the committment of a club membership. - the buckets here are expensive. When you buy a frequent-flyer discount card (pay for 8, get 11) the cost becomes comparable to other driving ranges. - the mats haven't been updated in YEARS. The 'tee-box' style has bushes encroaching on you front and back, and you hit off rubber tees. Methinks not. The 'turf' areas far left and right are better, but are thin, thin (i.e. inexpensive) turf, impregnated with stone dust. If you try to swing down on the ball, you WILL break clubheads. I've broken 5 here in the last 2 years. First, I feel bad, and think it's me, but then the next morning when I walk out on the range to find my clubhead, and I find 2, 3, 4 other clubheads out there JUST NEAR MINE, I realize no, silly, it's not just me. *sigh* When you figure the cost of re-shafting in, these buckets get pretty expensive. - For the record, I hit probably 2 buckets a week. And Fenway is the ONLY local range that I've ever broken a club at. This feedback has been given in good-faith, to the owner as a suggestion for improvement. Over many years. - Don't waste your time with Pine Knoll. I'd love to see a reasonably-priced, decent little par 3 local. This misses on the first two counts. Poor turf, lousy tees (rubber mats?) and overpriced. - In fairness.... if you're looking for a golf pro, Joe, Bob and Susan offer a wide range of teaching styles that ought to offer something for most everyone. They also do a ton of junior golf-camps, which is very cool to see. I'd love to support this place.... but frankly I'm much happier driving by on the way to a more golfer-friendly range. read more
