When I arrived, the vacuum area was incredibly busy, but the manager was doing an amazing job actively directing traffic and navigating the lines smoothly. On top of that, their attention to detail is unmatched. The manager was carefully inspecting the cars as they came out of the wash, noticed that the machine had completely missed a spot on the back of my car, and immediately offered to send me through for a second run completely free of charge. You don't always get that level of care and proactive customer service at a car wash. I will definitely be back!

Despite several cars being in front of me, Rafa texted me that my car was done at 11:05 AM. I was very thoroughly impressed by the condition of my car when I picked it up. I was worried that by paying $80 compared to $200 or $250 that it would show in the results, but the staff at PHCW did an amazing job. There were some water spots left over, but honestly, for $80, the car came out a lot better than I expected. I 100% will be coming back.

We used to visit a coin-op in Milpitas until they shut down that whole area. We have been looking…read morefor another good coin-op place and recently found this place. I was a bit skeptical when we saw the reviews about the place not having soap or having issues with the change machine, but our cars were getting really dirty. So we took a risk and drove there today. The coin-op looks similar to the one in Milpitas. I didn't have to wait long as there were 4 stalls and the stalls are very wide for you to move around easily. With some reviewers mentioning issues with the change machine, we made sure we brought a bunch of quarters with us as we needed to wash 2 cars. I put in $3 in quarters initially and then I put in another $1 in quarters when the initial 4 mins was done. I wouldn't recommend that since the extra min was cut very short and I had to put in another $3 worth of quarters to get the rest of the wash going. So I would recommend just waiting for the cycle to fully end with the initial $3 and then start a new cycle with another $3 as my additional $1 didn't do anything. They have an ok area to dry your car, but when I was drying my car the place got really packed so lots of people had a hard time maneuvering their cars around. There is a vacuum area as well, but I didn't use that as we have our own portable vacuum at home. So for a quick wash for about $6, it's pretty good and the water pressure was very strong. I will definitely go back again.

I spilled coffee on the (fabric) passenger seat of my new Corolla and just couldn't get the stain and smell of it out at home. I asked Yelp for a quote for seat shampooing/ detailing services and Brian was among the first to respond with a very reasonable quote. So even if it was a bit out of the way, I decided to give them a try. The appointment was easy to make (they fit me in right away), and the service itself was fast - there's a Starbucks down the road to wait at. Rich was…read moreresponsive over messaging, he came to the appointment on time, and was very friendly and professional overall. On the parts of the car that he did detail, he did a good job: the exterior painted surfaces, the seats, doors, carpets, and windows of the car. Having said that, there were shortcomings that prevented me from giving a higher rating. 1. Thoroughness - My car is rather dusty, so it's easy for me to visually see what areas were cleaned and what areas were not. Some spots like my center console screen and the areas behind my seats remained dusty and untouched after the detail. 2. Trunk - The trunk and engine cover, which take up about half the space of the cabin in my mid-engined sports car, were not cleaned, so half of my car looks great and the other half still looks dirty. I had asked beforehand whether their services included the same things as a list of services that a competitor provided me, which does include cleaning of the trunk, and Rich did not point this out as a difference. So either this was an oversight on the detail job or an oversight on communication. 3. Wheels - When booking the appointment, I explicitly asked whether a "deep clean of the wheel barrel" was part of the detail package, to which Rich said "absolutely". I also let them know that I did not have a water hookup, which Rich said was not a problem for them. When the job was done, I noticed that the barrels were untouched. Rich explained to me that he could not clean the barrels without a water hookup. While this reasoning might make sense from a physical limitations angle, I'm disappointed that this was not brought to my attention before the job. tldr; while the overall service experience was pleasant, and they did a good job on many areas, the job wasn't as thorough as I'd have liked, and I'm disappointed certain omissions were not communicated ahead of time despite clear opportunities to do so. This led to an overall experience that fell short of expectations.
