They were not available in all colors, but I scored two bags of this lovely brown mulch for just $1.50 a bag and also two bags of stones for just $2.00 a piece, rather than $3.66. I know that is not a huge saving, but with the 11% back, it makes for a nice little treat. I have a thing for mulch, soil, compost and rocks. When I am having a tough day, I wander through my local Menards and find things to add to my garden. This particular location, located near Madison, WI is almost entirely indoors or at least covered outdoor sections- which is helpful on a hot, rainy day like yesterday. It had sales in so many end-caps, too, like random things marked down considerably although I couldn't always tell what the item was. This location is very clean and well organized. Super well stocked in all the departments that I visited. I will come back next time I am up in Madison.

If you're okay with some compromises for a good deal, then you might be just fine! I'd avoid sofas; they looked cheap and dilapidated already. Some items were actually broken, but appropriately priced (i.e. hardware broken off of dressers). While I learned quickly that I would never purchase a sectional at American Freight, there were a couple of redeeming qualities. I'd recommend consideration of coffee tables and other hard surface items. This should be a stop for people on a tight budget for sure. Staff were not pushy in the least, yet attentive enough should I have had a question. They were also playing in the parking lot, so be careful when pulling in.

Sunday before Thanksgiving the lower heat element in my oven died. I ordered the part and it…read morearrived on Tuesday. I went to install it and noticed the terminal connector was fried. I called and visited seven different appliances parts and hardware stores. No one had this part and some places never even heard of the part. I am the matriarch of my family and do ALL of the cooking for Thanksgiving. At this point I am three days behind on my cooking and prep work and I am litterally freaking out and losing any hope of my oven being repaired before Thanksgiving. I called Handy Appliance Center and spoke with Cruz. Not only did he know exactly what part I needed, he told me he had the part. Cruz and Handy Appliance Center saved our Thanksgiving. Cruz went over and above not only with the part but he explained what I needed to do and even gave me an extra piece of wire incase mine was too short. I will recommend Handy's to everyone I talk to.
