We were supposed to get a call back a day later and we called back three days later and they ask us to wait another two days before we could find out what was wrong. (THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING) ... we finally got a quote and said yes. Well we get another call back on the same day and they explain, how something else needs to be fixed and give you an additional quote and ask us for another 3 days for it to be fixed. Then another week and finally ask for an additional 3 days? (WTF?) Another WEEK goes by and they kept having us adding the price to the "small fix" we had call for in the first place. Not only they'd took so long to let us know what was wrong but they took longer to fix the problem. 3 weeks to say if our product can finally be repaired is the most unprofessional and absurd business. So we finally give up on our "expensive fix". You know what this "professional business people" did? They came within HOURS! the same day we called to pick up the remainder parts we don't need anymore. But we can't get an estimate AND SERVICE in one week? I'll make sure to stay away from this CROOKS. Please go somewhere else...

Jose showed up about 30 minutes later and gave me a really affordable estimate. He immediately knew what the issue was--super knowledgeable about appliances! We had a few different handymen look at our dryer before, but none of them could figure it out. Jose diagnosed it right away. Turns out our dryer model isn't even sold anymore, so we couldn't get the replacement part. Ended up just buying a new, updated dryer instead. Jose was really nice, professional, and honest. He's had his shop for 20 years, and you can tell he knows his stuff. Definitely recommend reaching out if you need appliance repairs or are shopping for a new one. Thanks so much Jose!

I tried a few things including: holding the button to reset it, unplugging to reset it and switching out the water inlet valve (a tip from my searches). But no luck. Jose showed up and was able to reset it in a few seconds. It was like magic to me. He recommended I change the suspension sometime in the near future since he could hear it was needing it. The machine is seven years old, and he said that's about the life expectancy, but mine sounds good and that would help extend the life even further. All in all, top recommendation.

I needed help locating and printing a large number of receipts, and Pam dedicated well over two hours to assist me. The delay was entirely due to the system, not anything on her end, yet she remained patient, professional, and focused the entire time. What truly impressed me was her ability to multitask. Even while handling my request, she stayed very mindful of the growing line behind me and made sure other customers were acknowledged and assisted appropriately. On top of that, multiple coworkers came to her with questions, and she handled every situation with confidence and ease, showing just how knowledgeable and dependable she is. As a customer service manager with over 22 years of experience in this field, I can confidently say Pam absolutely crushed every aspect of her job--patience, professionalism, efficiency, and leadership. Employees like her set the standard for what great customer service should look like. Home Depot is very lucky to have her.

The Home Depot on Slauson is exactly what you think it is: big orange warehouse, endless aisles,…read moreand that distinct smell of lumber mixed with despair. It's not shopping, it's survival with a rewards card. Lately, though, the place feels emptier than usual. Maybe it's the times we're in--the age of ICE raids means the parking lot doesn't hum the way it used to, and the store feels quieter, thinner, almost hollow. It's Home Depot, but on half volume. Still, where else are you going to go? You need lumber, plumbing parts, or a random tool at 9 p.m.--Home Depot is the only option in town. Lowe's? Miles away. Ace Hardware? Cute, but no. This is it, folks--the monopoly of orange aprons. Service was... alright. Not great, not terrible. A few employees pointed me in the right direction, a few vanished like ghosts in the garden center. It's the kind of help that feels like winning the lottery when you actually find it. You don't come here because you want to--you come here because you have to. It's less "Do It Yourself" and more "Do It Because There's No Alternative." Bottom line: Home Depot on Slauson is functional, soulless, and your only choice. The store might be emptier these days, but at the end of the day, it's still the big orange box we're all stuck with. Not love, not hate--just meh with a receipt.
