    My father, who is almost 70, was there today picking up a table saw that was being repaired. I wish he would have asked for names so I could say who these specific assholes were, but he is FAR nicer then I am, and they are lucky I wasn't there. Apparently the employees who were helping him load the table saw into his vehicle were extremely rude, extremely rough with the equipment, and completely careless while loading. They ran the table saw over his foot (without any sort of apology), were extremely rough loading it into the vehicle, ended up breaking part of the vehicle (pictured), and when they loaded it in the wrong way and it was sticking out the back, they literally said "just use straps to hold it in". This would have shattered the back window, as a metal bar from the table saw would be directly resting on the window with the door strapped down. I have helped him load that exact table saw into it numerous times, it's not hard to get in and there is a correct direction so that the back door closes fully. But apparently that was too much work for these clowns and they just left him alone to fix it on his own. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. I really wish I could name the employees, but again he is far nicer then I am and didn't want to cause any problems by getting their names or speaking with a manager. I just wanted to make sure this was known for anyone going to this place. And if anyone in management sees this, you need to seriously consider hiring better employees.

    Lees should have 10 stars out of 5! They are that good. Greatest tool shop in all of LA & OC. No lumber, just straight up tool and accessories kings. I have been going to Lees for 15 years and they have all my specialty tools and blades. Jon & steve are the best. I am a licensed general contractor and highly recommend Lees!

    I come to this location at least once a week, I own a business a mile away. I usually walk or ride…read moremy bike. Everytime I walk in I'm never greeted, I feel like I'm a burden when I ask for help, 3 or more employees are always gathered at the front like a high school lunch table laughing and horseplay around. It's always one employee who has a great attitude, i found out today her name is Lila. Shes always helpful, and she always looks busy.     I am writing to complain about my experience at the Gardena 14000 Crenshaw Blvd location. My first…read morecomplaint is simply the young lady Rosemary( is the name on my Receipt) did not know how to measure properly. There was a gentleman at the register that was helping her round numbers off so I assumed they got it correct. I received the call and my screens were ready about a week later. I go to pick up my screens from Long Beach California, bring them home to my surprise. They do not fit. I immediately called the store and let them know that the screens were not fitting properly. When I get to the store I got the opportunity to speak with the manager, Miss Sabrina. She was very pleasant very apologetic and sincere. I also noticed on the rescreened that because of the way the screens go back into the window that the tabs were on the wrong side, Miss Sabrina wrote a note for the screens to have the tabs placed on the correct side. She also noticed my small window screen, which was a a new screen was thicker and taller compared to the original one. She lets me know that we'll make it a priority and will give you a call when they're ready. I believe I dropped them off on maybe Wednesday or Tuesday and I hadn't heard from anyone over the weekend. Here comes Monday. I just called to check on the screens to see what the progress was. I didn't get the associates name on the other end of the phone, but they did mention that the screens were ready. I had my mother pick up the screens because I was not feeling well. She brought the screens back to me I immediately knew that they were the same screens simply because the tabs were not placed on the correct side. The small screen did not fit back in the window again I get on the phone and complained again. Miss Sabrina says she's so sorry we're gonna go ahead and give you your money back. I had a question I wanted my screens re-screened and I wanted to know based off the originals. Would they be able to do it . the manager Lila stated we've done your screens two different times and we're gonna go ahead and give you back your money, no one looked at the size of the screens, the height of the screens to make sure they were the same. No one looked at the tabs to make sure the tabs were on the correct side of the screen. I am simply writing to let you know the service was poorly done. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the staff even respect the on-site management. For the rescreened department to receive instructions from the manager and blatantly disregard them. attached, you will find videos of the work that I received.

    I am posting this review to promote consumer awareness and transparency…read more I called in advance to confirm the availability of an electronic drill driver. The first call was disconnected by the person who answered. A subsequent call was not answered, and I ultimately reached the store from another number and was told the item was in stock. When I arrived, a different employee assisted me and completed the sale. During checkout, the employee opened the product box without my request while responding to a product-related question. The question could have been answered without opening the packaging. The item was not needed and remained unused. When I attempted to return it, I was informed that the store does not accept returns under any circumstances. This policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase and is not stated on the receipt. Under California consumer expectations, material terms such as a no-return policy should be clearly disclosed prior to purchase so customers can make informed decisions...especially when packaging is opened by store staff. Posting this so other customers are aware of the store's policies before purchasing.
