Arriving around noonish I expected a long wait to order stain. I was met, at the paint area, by a very friendly and competent woman. Since I was matching the color that my neighbor used she quickly located the correct stain and provided guidance regarding how much stain I needed. She also opened one of the cans to ensure that it was the right color (the had to add tint). Less than 15 minutes later I was checking out and on my way to lunch. Even though Lowes is closer to my home driving to this HD is AOK as H Mart and their food court is right next door.

Chandler our salesperson does not call me back. Ferguson has no parts in stock. I learn the part has to be ordered. She's going to send me a link. Never got it. End of business day, it's Friday no resolution. I end up calling Moen. They will send me the part in TWO weeks! Monday, Chandler does call me and leaves me a message. Sounds like I have to start fresh. As for the display room. It's great for whole house remodel and getting ideas. For comparison shopping it really sucks!

When I arrived, I was the only customer in the store, but the salesman's attitude felt dismissive from the start. When I asked a question about the drain, he responded with, "First of all, what does the guy helping you with this project say?" I'm a woman, but I have experience working on construction and plumbing projects. While I always consult with a certified plumber for final approval, I also do the necessary legwork to ensure that plans and materials are ready in order to avoid delays. I couldn't tell whether the salesman was having a bad day, making assumptions based on my gender, or is simply unhelpful by nature. Either way, even if he didn't have all the answers, a respectful conversation, honest feedback, or a recommendation would have gone a long way.

Found Moore Supply recently for the parts to replace a damaged pipe and old pressure relief valve. Called from another shop down the street that was dong their very best to overcharge me for some basic parts necessary for the repairs. I spoke with Ryan at Moore Supply and asked if they might be able to help me figure out the best replacement parts for a 25 year old damaged pipe and worn out pressure relief valve. He suggested I come in and bring the part. As he hung up, I was walking through the front door. Busy day for them so I waited until it was my turn and laid out the parts and project on the counter. Ryan took one look at them and knew exactly what to do. He came back out with the pressure relief valve, ball joint needed and suggested that although we could use PVC or a copper pipe, pex would be the best option. I clenched my teeth and steadied by stance preparing to hear what it would cost. I was blown away by a very reasonable price quote for a fraction of the price of the shop I just left. In a just a few minutes Ryan helped me put together the project for assembly, handed me a brand new pressure valve, ball joint and perfectly fabricated pex pipe and fittings and I was out the door on the way home to finish the repairs. Everything, including their valued help and experience in planning out the repairs for less than $150.00!! Nice people, fantastic customer support, ethics and integrity makes me proud to support another local company. Especially after the nightmare I had just escaped. The person assisting me answers some of my questions, however, they didn't have the answers for some of the most important ones and needed the box to provide that information. While the box was being located, I continued to shop. I didn't receive an update within a few minutes and saw how the workers were talking amongst themselves and looking a little goofy, I asked, "Did you find the box?!" They had not found it so I asked about the store hours and told them I'd be back tomorrow (which it today) to pick up my items. Well, I am here in the store now. I don't see any familiar faces and a sweet lady named Julia asked me is I needed assistance. I told her what I wanted and watched in the background as a conversation began between two employees who obviously knew what was going on with my particular situation.
