The other big box stores we looked at had an ordering wait time of 2-3 weeks, while CW had many fire safe doors in stock and available to view in the store. Highly recommend this place for doors and fixtures, they are a bit light on bathroom and lighting options, but are well stocked otherwise. Another note to add is that CW doesn't do online ordering, so either you or your contractor will need to pay and pickup the items on site. The associates will also help you load items into your truck which is a nice plus.

I'm a homeowner with a couple rentals and was able to sign up for an account. You kind of have to know what you need. It is DEFINELY not a home depot. The guys are extremely knowledgeable, but nothing has prices. You just grab what you need, tell them your last name, first name, confirm address, then they check out and give you the total. The prices seem to be pretty fair and most of their products seem to be for commercial use. I wouldn't buy any of their faucets or aftermarket cartridges here, though. Stick to OEM parts such as moen, price pfister, which they have. For like 50% off, you can get the "Lincoln" brand. Moen 1225 stems are $17.52 here, while they are $20 at home depot. A lot of their valves are way better than the ones you will find at Home Depot. I just bought some 3/4" and 1" ball valves. Most home depots carry the low-end model that will leak right away. The Garden Grove Home Depot will carry more options for professionals, but Ferguson will carry some of the best heavy duty ones for a fair price. Customer service needs to be improved,, but they really don't care. They have enough business from professionals who know what they want. It's a hit or miss though. They'll help you when they arent too busy

It seems that Mitercraft staff have never experienced life events happening that are more stressful and taxing than a simple home renovation project. At the time that the below events were unfolding my wife was diagnosed with hypertension while pregnant and we were in constant fear of losing baby during the late stages of pregnancy. When something like this happens then moving forward on a home renovation project takes the back burner and you can't always stop to explain things as you are just taking care of your own during a stressful season. Anyone reading this that has been through any kind of life event will understand what that is like. Also, to clarify something that Charla shared in her response: our home security footage recorded Doug (owner) clearly banging on the front door and yelling. I would be happy to share the footage with anyone considering working with these clowns. I was able to de-escalate the situation through calm mediation language but he was making a scene that was quite chaotic and traumatizing for my toddler who still jumps when she hears someone knock on the door and who for weeks after the incident would ask "why did that guy bang on our door?" I truly just hope this review is helpful for anyone considering working with Mitercraft as they are not a reputable or professional business to work with. Full review below ---- Awful experience with these guys, Doug in particular was a real a$$hole to deal with. Order was placed in early April and I chose to order from these guys, particularly choosing Milguard because of the quoted 3-4 week delivery timeframe. AFTER the order was placed I was told it would be 8 weeks. I informed them this didn't work because my wife was pregnant, due soon, and the only way to do this project was to get the windows in 3-4 weeks. Despite that, once the windows came in late May they demanded payment for windows not yet delivered and I stated we would not be able to do the project because of the timeframe and pregnancy complications and would be delayed 5-6 months before we could rip into this project. They were completely unwilling to work with me or store them for any amount of time. I told them multiple times that we were at doctor appointments almost daily and I was unable to take delivery or pick them up and they would need to be stored. They went as far as verbally harassing me on the phone, threatening to lien my house (which is funny because you can't lien a house when you haven't done work or delivered product). All they did repeatedly was demand payment for windows not yet delivered Doug then delivered the windows to my home today (without warning), by banging on the door, scaring the shit out of my wife and baby. He yelled at me for not being professional which is just comical considering that it is not the customer's duty to be professional. He brought a little cronie to film the interaction - when I asked if he was filming he refused to stop although I did not give consent to have this be filmed. Overall my experience with Mitercraft was that Doug is a real asshole, and I recommend others to completely avoid any dealings with this business unless you want to work with the least flexible, rude, and degrading vendor you have ever met.

My story is as follows..... I wanted to rekey my all doors/locks, which are many and several have different keys that are lost. I was quoted an exorbitant price of $1145 from Golden Locksmith in Irvine for rekeying eight locks and giving me one key for all of them. I felt this quote was way too overpriced and after taking to Tyler, he confirmed he believed that my quote was indeed overpriced. I was thinking I would need to get new cylinders for each lock ( I was contemplating doing the job myself to save money) which is why I called Miter Craft to find out the price. When I told Tyler my story in dealing with Golden Locksmith, Tyler referred me to Balport Lock and Safe which I ended up using, and they were amazing! Tyler let me know I didn't need to purchase new cylinders and that Ballot could handle all my needs without me needing to purchase anything more or new. Simply call Balport and I would be fine and this was the case. I am so grateful for Tylers kindness and honestly with my challenge and when I do need to purchase new door hardware, I will definitely be using Mtier Craft. Their integrity is outstanding!
