We visited around noon on Saturday and were disappointed with the customer service experience here. We were walk-ins, so I understand consultants may have scheduled appointments and limited availability. However, for a high-end appliance store, I expected a much more professional and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The receptionist appeared far more interested in scrolling through social media on her phone than acknowledging or assisting customers. Even a simple greeting or explanation about wait times would have gone a long way. First impressions matter, especially in a luxury retail environment where customer service should be a top priority. I would highly recommend additional training for front desk staff on professionalism, attentiveness, and customer interaction. Edit to add response to the business: To clarify, this visit did take place at the Costa Mesa showroom on Saturday around noon. We were walk-ins and completely understand that scheduled appointments may take priority. My concern was less about availability and more about the lack of acknowledgment and professionalism. I appreciate you taking the time to reply publicly, but I was surprised by the comment regarding not having record of our visit, especially since we were not checking in for an appointment, nor were we asked to leave any information as we were barely acknowledged by your receptionist. DO NOT BUY!!! We bought a dual fuel range that is less than 5 years old and already it's showing an Error code 08! We never even use the oven and it's already broken down and inoperable. On top of that Wolf charges a service fee just to have a tech diagnose an issue we already know and it costs $2600 to replace the broken mother board! How is it on the consumer to pay for a repair for something that is barely 5 years old and is attributed to the poor technology instead of misuse! Do yourself favor and avoid purchasing from Wolf. They'll only be emptying your wallet. read more

Marie helped us today, and we're in the process of buying two Sub Zero appliances, a freezer and fridge! We're now working with a local dealer to get the install done, along with cabinet modifications. We're also looking into replacing our microwave, and warmer. So our upgrades are going to look amazing. The showroom is very nice, and brings out tons of ideas. If you're in the area, I suggest stopping by prior to making a virtual purchase, as you get to see everything in person. About 1/4 of the showroom is currently being renovated, so expect to see more cool stuff soon! read more

This place was fun-- hosted a Yelp event and had a good time! Not sure if the dress code changes with the event, but we definitely missed the business casual line and were a bit underdressed (but still with fly kicks). We did a taste of Orange County here and got to try several local restaurants and wineries! Paradise Dynasty, Bouillon, Atomic Ice Cream and Sign of our Lives were a few of the too companies we tried. All were tasty for sure ! read more

I'm so disappointed in how I was treated by your receptionist who answers the phone to take appointments on how to work the range. I am very tempted to return this product and get the FRENCH range that I would adore. When we went to the showroom the person showing us items told me to call for cooking demo at the showroom once my range arrived for appointment. I now have the 50inch range in my family room due to our kitchen remodel taking a whole lot longer than contract has told us. It has been in my family room since February. I called to make an appointment with this showroom for the cooking demo on the ranges and was told I need to have it installed first. Not in a pleasing tone may I add. My range won't be installed until 2023 at this point due to cabinets and windows delay. I am not pleased with the snooty attitude of the staff at this showroom. read more

As someone who works for an authorized dealer for Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove (plus ASKO), among other brands, it is often difficult to offer all of the product from the various brands' catalog to display in our showroom as we need to section off space to various brands that we have relations with. Furthermore, its even more difficult to show an assortment of product in a live environment due to lack of gas hook ups and limited circuits on the power breaker boxes. With that said, manufacture showrooms like the Sub-Zero showroom is a blessing to someone who has a customer that wants to see, touch, and feel a huge assortment of product from a specific brand. The Sub-Zero showroom offers a knowledgeable team and close to 95% representation of the product the brand offers. Also, the showroom does not sell directly to prospective customers, so they offer a no-pressure environment for customers to browse, ask questions, and get extremely useful insight in their kitchen renovation planning. Now onto the actual review. Last Saturday, I had a client that visited the showroom. I had gone through great lengths to set an appointment for them the day before. Unfortunately some miscommunication occurred and ultimately, the showroom did not have the available human resources available to really give them the level of attention they deserve. This was disappointing on multiple levels for my client as they had gotten a baby-sitter for their children so that both they and their husband could visit the showroom to hopefully narrow down their decision making. When they informed me of their experience, I immediately reached out to Tracy B of Sub-Zero. She listened to my concerns and frustrations. She took the constructive criticism back to her team at the Sub-Zero showroom and came back to me with options to offer the clients in an attempt to make amends for the poor first impression. Ultimately, my client was willing to make a second appointment with the showroom for Wednesday the 23rd (Yesterday). Tracy B graciously set up the appointment so that she would personally be there to assist them. Mind you, that is not her role within the company. Her role is actually to cultivate relationships with people in the trade such as designers and builders. She is, extremely knowledgeable and qualified to provide a prospective customer an outstanding experience at the Sub-Zero showroom. 30 minutes before the appointment time, Murphy and his silly law went into effect. My client had a flat tire, there was no way she would be able to attend. Her husband would though, as the showroom was on his way home from work. I let Tracy B know the situation and she suggested that it might be best to offer the client a reschedule so that they could attend with her husband, together. In the end, the client's husband attended the appointment. Which worked out great as they thought outside of the box and utilized FACETIME to have the client involved in the equation. Tracy B and the showroom team answered all of the client and her husband's questions and represented the brand in the way that one would expect a luxury brand to be represented. While yes, there were some initial setbacks for my client, I feel the way that Sub-Zero handled the situation was redeeming of the customer's positive experience. I know that I am very fortunate to have their showroom so close to the store I work out of as a resource to leverage to help my customers in their prospective dream kitchen building. 10/10 I would encourage anyone looking to invest in their kitchen remodel to visit the showroom to ensure they do not miss out on some great options for their dream kitchen. Loved the showroom and everything looks so great. We had to replace our appliances because of the palisades fire. It is by far the worst quality fridge I have had. Had warranty people out twice saying imperfection in gaskets/seals happen and putting a heat gun to it. Had them blame installers had installer blame cabinet guy for panels. Nobody takes credit. Have had installers out three times. This is in a two months period. See video. The door should stay open and the weight of the panel is perfect and everything is level. Instead when we have a drawer open the door closes on it and scrapes the inside of the door and has almost broken our drawer. We also go the dishwasher and have had warranty reps out twice because it won't dry even with the proper temp hot water, water softening salts and spot free liquid, extended dry, heated dry on. We were told it should be wet in the tub on the walls and door with spots everywhere and we cannot use cascade with the product.....the most popular (hilarious). read more

Outstanding customer experience at this Subzero showroom thanks to Chelsea. Chelsea's customer service is exactly what you should get at this price point- a white glove customer experience. I was that scrutinizing customer that went back multiple times to see the appliances, sent numerous emails with questions and had her re-quote various different package options. Each and every time, Chelsea was prompt, courteous and super helpful. She was so patient in explaining all the different options and rebate programs. Based on my experience with Chelsea, I decided to purchase Subzero/Wolf appliances (over Thermador and Fisher Paykel). Months after my purchase, I realized had a rebate problem and emailed Chelsea. She immediately emailed back and communicated with corporate for me. She was able to clear my rebate problem with corporate within hours! At this price point, it comes down to which brand is going to take care of you after point of sale-- Chelsea made me feel like I am part of the Wolf family and not just a customer to be forgotten after sale. I have always loved Sub-Zero and the Wolf cooking appliances, but I was turned off by the lack of customer service that was provided at the Costa Mesa location when I stopped by a few days ago. Customers shouldn't feel like an inconvenience, regardless of whether they have an appointment. I really felt like I was being "sized up" and not taken seriously. I will be giving up my dream of having the red knobs in my new kitchen but now I will have the blue Thermador knobs. read more

Before you consider buying a subzero refrigerator, they have a serious mold issue. By any brand, Refrigerator but subzero. I've experienced mode since 1995 and three different units.. this time I purchased a different brand. . And not only this the Customer Service at subzero is probably the worst customer service I've seen from any body for anything.. avoid subzero products . read more

I visited this showroom and Brooke helped me. My husband and I were a little late and she was so great and accommodating. She had so much attention to detail and truly knew her products. We particularly came in to look for a built in fridge and she was able to connect us with local suppliers who did have a fridge in stock. Overall, this place (and Brooke) are so great. Although the website shows they are open on Saturdays and walk-ins are welcome, when we got there on a Saturday at 2 o'clock the front door was locked and the times on the door show they are only open Monday through Friday. Don't know which one is supposed to be correct but we did see someone sitting inside looking at a laptop. There is also no where to park. Rude and unprofessional. I was just in there trying to get a basic design idea. I was never greeted and waited 10 minutes at the reception desk for anyone to even speak to me. I was told they were understaffed and may not have time for me. That I understand. But when a couple walks in and is greeted immediately and offered drinks when they showed up 30 minutes early, that's insulting. Zhen acknowledged they were early, got them drinks, then told me she had "one minute to answer any quick questions" I may have. I told her we have put a deposit down on a $55,000 Sub-Zero/Wolf package. We just need some design help for our bar area to see if we need to change the wine column and beverage fridge we ordered. When I tried to explain what were we're looking to do in our new home, she said they do not have anything to help us since no one would do that so there is no need for a product like that. I explained Perlick has available produShe said maybe we should consider going with a different company. She then said, "look around and walked away." I guess if that how they treat people, I will take my business elsewhere. Update: Stopped in today with my wife for some ideas. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. We declined help since we only want to take a quick look for some ideas. After looking around, Caleb asked us we wanted help and spent a lot of time with us and have us great ideas. Unlike Zhen, he listened to us babble and gave us good insight into what our designs could be. read more

We drove a long way to come see appliances on a Saturday morning when their website clearly says the showroom is open Saturdays until 3pm. The front doors were locked. There were several sales associates there who all ignored us knocking. This is not a good way to treat your customers. Update your hours. It's 2022! Get with it. read more

Just coming home from a wonderful meal and demonstration by Molly Kruger. The showroom is beautiful and has a great display of all their appliances. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Molly simply cooked a delicious meal as she explained the Wolf ranges and ovens. She made it all look so easy. She answered questions and gave helpful cooking and cleaning tips. The meal was delicious and the serving and presentation of the food was one would expect from an expensive restaurant. Not only the food and wine was superb, it taught me a lot about kitchen appliances. -gas vs electric stove tops - convection ovens vs traditional vs steam - sub zero frigs how they actually have a different moisture control And to top this off-I got cooking lessons as well! Great place to shop. Went to cooking demo to see how appliances worked. We were able to see them in action (very impressive) and Molly, the chef, did a fantastic job of answering everyone's question. On Tuesday I made 2 pm appointment to learn about the Sub zero Refrigerator with Brooke. We drove all the way out there over hour drive too see the show room. My wife and 2 kids went with me. Brooke was an absolute delight. Her Product knowledge was off the charts about Sub Zeros. She taught us so many cool things that a video couldn't teach you. This show room is spectacular! I feel like our hour appointment flew by so fast because Brooke made it such a fun / interactive experience! After showing us everything we needed to know, It was an easy decision. Brooke put us in contact with the person who installs them. She put me in contact with a guy name Jesse and that guy she referred was also great! Brooke also sent me an email with exactly the fridges we loved with all the specifications. Also a sweet touch to the whole experience was the nice coffee /juices she gave my wife and kids. Then the next day Brooke sent me a nice follow up email asking if I needed help with anything. Well I'm happy to say We are now apart of the Sub Zero Holiday !!!! And Right before the Holidays!! This is an awesome showroom! If you are interested in the Sub-Zero Wolf and soon to be Cove products this is the only place in SoCal to truly view the products. This location is all about education. The showroom is top notch with a staff to match. They offer cooking demonstrations over lunch or dinner that showcase the appliances so the customer realizes the potential of the product. Once you purchase the appliance they offer a use and care education piece. My husband and I attended a lunch time demonstration and not only was the food delicious but we learned so much. There were probably 15 people in the class and most of us have already decided on the Sub-Zero Wolf products but there were a few that were changing their kitchen design based on what they learned that day. So many of us had no idea of the potential of a 24" convection/steam oven! SOLD...! Appliances are big investments so it is extremely helpful to the consumer to have a showroom and educators that want you to enjoy the products to their full potential. read more

Whoa. This is not a company that is trying to get anyone's business. We've been trying to decide between Wolf and Miele and the experience with the two brands could not have been more different. Miele bent over backwards to show us how everything worked, did an elaborate demo for us, and tried really hard to make sure we understood our options. They were like, "We can't wait to welcome you to the Miele family! We have cooking classes and recipes and will help you make the most of these [really expensive] appliances." It was maybe a little over the top, but at the same time we've had trouble getting someone at Wolf to answer even the most basic questions. The showroom would randomly close earlier than advertised and once when we stopped by, they clearly had no desire to help us and kept suggesting that we look things up online. It was not the kind of customer service that inspired us to buy things that we'll have in our house for a long time. I can't imagine this brand being responsive to repairs, etc. read more

We came in not realizing they were about to close and Randy stayed after closing and helped us for almost an hour and we never once felt rushed. They don't sell their products here and it is simply a showroom, and despite this he showed us amazing customer service, showing us the differences between the different ranges and subzeros. He also informed us of issues to be aware of when installing a built-in with our cabinet maker. We were truly impressed with his knowledge of all the products, for example, at some dealers we've visited they simply said subzeros had two compressors, but he went on to fully explain in detail how this affected the quality of the fridge. We are now pretty sold on getting a Subzero and even upgrading from a gas range to a duel fuel. I love that there is a showroom like this for potential customers to explore and where the staff is fully educated on their products. Like other dealers, they have cooking sessions so you can see the different appliances in action. read more

I drove down from Long Beach to look at the Wolf appliances, as I would like to purchase three appliances for my new kitchen. The receptionist was very rude. She didn't greet me upon entering the store; she just asked me if I had an appointment. I wasn't aware one needed an appointment. She said she could make an appointment, and I could come back later. I told her what I wanted, and asked if I could look at the appliances. I told her I was interested in the stove top four burner with the French top, and she said we don't make that, even though I had seen it on the website. The woman was rude, loud, condescending, and treated me like some kind of a rube. I half expected her to say " you can't afford these appliances ". She is kind of like the dog who bites the hand that feeds it; she seems to forget that customer's money pays her salary. I am not going to put up with this kind of treatment, and I intend to call corporate about this incident. read more

The displays provide easy access to all of Wolf's products including accessories that are inventive and useful. Chef Molly Kruger is knowledgeable about product functions, she's an excellent chef with an easy and approachable manner. The food she prepared was wonderful and did showcase Wolf's products including the steam oven, griddle and Sub-Zero fridge. I can't wait to use them in my new kitchen. We were all set to buy a full kitchen of thermador appliances and decided to go sub zero and wolf; and so glad we did!! The appliances are now all installed and we are in love with everything we purchased!! We also recently took one of the oven and cooktop care and maintenance classes they offer and were really blown away!
