I returned to the store last night in need of a refrigerator, as ours gave up. Living out of coolers is not fun, and having a diabetic in the house just adds to the problems. After waiting for someone to assist me, I was met with a salesperson who really was not interested in anything I had to say. Delivery will take up to 5 days, and when I asked if she could mention the health issues, nothing was said. Next time I will spend the time and go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Not a way to treat many years of loyalty!!!

Made an appointment online requesting the afternoon on a specific day. Received a call a couple…read moredays later saying that they would not be in our area on the requested day and that they had to reschedule. When I asked if they could let me know whether morning or afternoon was available on the other days they presented as options, they said that I would receive an email with a two hour window the day before. I said that I can't just sit around at home all day waiting so I need to know if it's at least morning or afternoon so I can plan accordingly. The job was not completed as promised. The company charged me $600 for 2 men to come out and…read morereplace a WASHER DRAIN HOSE. Before the job was agreed to, I explained that the washer had been pulled out to fix a dryer vent issue and the company assured me that the team would be putting the machine back into the closet where it lives. They told me this was standard and not a problem - so I agreed to the price. (It's a big machine to move.) The job was completed in about 30 minutes. The 2 men were unable to return the unit to it's closet where it was supposed to live. (It was too heavy for them to do.) They left the unit IN THE HALLWAY and said I could followup with the company to correct the bill. I called multiple times to get the correction and they never returned a single call to me. Every time I called and got a hold of someone, I was told that "technicians" were disputing my claim? I SENT PHOTOS OF THE UNIT LEFT IN THE HALLWAY! And multiple times, I was told they disputed the claim. The job was not completed and I had to hire a new team rehouse the machine. WHO DOES THIS?? They promised the job to be completed and then when it wasn't, made no effort to recompense. $600 to replace a washer hose and leave it in the hallway. And then they take the word of their technicians over picture evidence. I'm sorry I chose them.

Don't buy showroom items…read more We bought a full high end kitchen to find out later on that it was incomplete. They sold us a hood without the fan, and a set of three fridges without brackets. In addition they are denying the issue and not helping at all.

Got brand new appliances from Plessers and the dishwasher had major issues - door would not shut…read moreproperly, and hose was leaking. I immediately notified Plessers of the two issues. They said it was the manufacture and not their responsibility to fix it. They gave me a number to call, I had to wait on hold for hours, send multiple emails, and it took over 2 weeks to get the new part and a tech to finally come out. 2 full weeks without a brand new dishwasher that works. As I write this, service is finally scheduled for tomorrow and they asked for a 10 hour arrival window! Crazy. These should be simple, in stock parts. The Plessers customer service department has no idea what is happening... as service is outsourced. They did tell me that if my plumber replaced the hose, it would breach the warranty. DO NOT BUY from Plessers. DO NOT BUY from Plessers!! The entire experience was horrible, they should have exchanged the dishwasher, taken it back, or mailed me the correct part. I encourage anyone buying appliances... ensure they have IN HOUSE service!! Go across the street to P.C. Richard's, as they have their own in house service department, Plessers does not have their own service department. I bought my kitchen appliances from Plessers and everything else from PC Richard's, it was a night and day better experience across the street! It might sound like it's not a big for them to outsource service, but it is. PC Richard's will price match anyone, and you can use their service department so they come out immediately. Run away from Plessers!!

Visit Date: September 3, 2024…read more This was the last stop my dad and I made on a Hampton's tour. I have this book called 111 things to do in the Hamptons you must not miss. So when I have a chance I've been driving out east to tour what's in the book. This is the oldest operating family run hardware store on LI. My dad and I met Charlie who was one of the employees featured in the book and he let us take a picture with him for instagram. I bought a Stanley. I was trying so hard not to get one but I finally caved. They had 30 oz ones for $40. I don't know if that was a good price or not but I got a nice green one. I wanted to support the store and wasn't sure what else to get I looked around to see if I could get a Christmas gift for someone on my list but didn't really find anything. This is a nice store to visit worth checking out for the historical factor!

I kindly said no thank you & want to establish that I'm not generalizing all employees that work here. But the one man who was at the register was beyond rude. I came in looking for a replacement toilet flapper & was confident that I had picked the right one. The employee proceeded to tell me numerous times that I probably did not get the correct one & that he should take a look at a picture of it with his "trained eye"... of toilet flappers. After I told him numerous times that I know that I got the right one for me, he goes on to tell me that he's sure he'll see me back in here because again, he's sure I didn't get the right one. I work for a local business that often shops at this hardware store as well as multiple others on the East End because I prefer supporting the local businesses instead of Amazon & other online companies etc. I am so disappointed & for the record, I got the right one and most certainly will not be coming back.
