Leading up to my procedure date, Dr. Paresi's office called and text me several times, constantly updating me on my procedure details, pre and post processes, answered any and all questions for several weeks, prior to my procedure. By the day of my procedure, I felt completely calm and worry free that I made the right decision in my selection of the team I wanted. Dr. Paresi is not just well educated in his field, he is passionate about his work. It was explained that "touch up" surgery if needed, was included at no cost after the full recovery period. At the 9month post op, i was given the opportunity to schedule for the touch up two days later the post op appointment. I had to decline due to work. It was then explained that they held a wait list for the "free touch up" and there was a fee if I wanted a guaranteed date. Due to the holidays I waited and left my name on the waiting list.... Not sure what the waitlist process really was. As it was not explained, 4 months later it became difficult to know when I would be next. Once I decided to pay the additional fee, I was offered a date the following week. Again, due to work I was not able to accept. It became what felt like a begging game to have communication with the person who handles the "waiting list". Dr Farias team would greatly benefit from service recovery training and an efficient communication policy/process in the event the "free touch up" is requested by patient. Although my surgical results are not symmetrical, the surgery process was just as expected, surgery was safe and had no complications. Considering it is a cosmetic and elective procedure, I will not continue to recommend to friends based on the poor communication at the end.

I've been to Dr Kovak many times for different issues, but the first time was to get rid of the…read moreappearance of veins under my eyes and few spider veins on my face that occurred as a result of waxing away that peach fuzz (eye veins unrelated). Dr Kovak is very compassionate and reasonable with the prices. I paid far more at a random laser center when I received a treatment for over 150 that did nothing where as Dr. Kovak zapped the tiny area for basically nothing after doing my under eye area which was very reasonable. I had done fillers from another doc long before I knew Dr Kovak and it wasn't a good experience for me, Dr Kovak is someone I've come to trust. That previous doctor was giving me vitrase in order to dissolve the product that migrated to above and below my lips and used a bit of steriod in the mix for the nodules I developed and it cause a dent/indentation or atrophy in my upper lip that looked pretty bad. So I went back to Dr Kovak to help fix the issue. I did my own research into successful treatments for atrophy and came across many studies on saline injections that reverse the atrophy over time by diluting the steriod crystals that prevent the fat tissue from regenerating. Dr. Kovak was concerned that I had steriod put in my face and he said you may need filler to fill the area because it may be permanent but he would be willing to try the saline injections first that I asked about... he suggested 3 times once a month. The studies I read they used a protocol of 1 time a week 4 to 6 times and when I mentioned that to Dr the next time I saw him and He said okay! Let's do it! He clearly cares about and listens to his patients and he doesn't have that large ego you're used to seeing with very successful Drs like him. I love this man, we need more Drs like him in the world. So far, I've had 3 saline injections and the indentation is getting less and less. The dr noticed it changing too. I am blessed to have found him. I saw a review that compared oak brook terrace to villa Park and she sounds sad. Hopefully she gets help with that delusion and finds a dr that's more her vibration and I don't envy that person. Thank you Dr Kovak, I'll only come to you when I try for fillers again. So blessed to have found you.

Gave them a try again, the charge per area not per unit, no matter how little or how much you get you will be charged by the area, at my two week mark I still had movement in my face so I came back for a touch up and they tried to charge me for the touch up, even though you can't pay per unit. I am under the impression that if you charge by area and need a touch up then you shouldn't be charged. It's completely laughable. I will never come here again.
