Wow. This was really a mindblowing experience. I am in Naples working and just found a close place for lunch and walked in here. I was seriously shocked. The server was instantly incredible and perfect. She even genuinely gave me a good recommendation and as soon as I took the first bite I was amazed how perfectly delicious it was. I wish we had this exact same thing in my town but also the same servers too. It was such a wonderful vibe in there and a nice layout and clean place.

Absolutely love this place. I try to make it in every time I'm in the Naples area, and it never disappoints. I've been coming here for years, since back when they were in a different location than this one. Almost always get the traditional Cuban sandwich with rice and beans. Pro tip, get some of their house made hot sauce to go with your meal. It's phenomenal. I found out today that they've started bottling their hot sauce, so I had to pick up a couple to bring back home to Chicago with me. Used to live in the Miami area and I've had Cuban sandwiches in tons of different restaurants, but for some reason, this one here at Fernandez rises above all the rest. Lots of other great options on the menu as well in addition to sandwiches. Service is always spot on as well. Highly recommend you check this place out. 5 stars.

Found this strip mall in Bonita springs area where I meet a friend for lunch. The Cuban resturant had a bunch of lunch specials so we went in for a nice lunch. The server was very nice and kept checking on us. Fast service nice atmosphere and yummy cuban food. I went with the Half Cuban sandwich with black beans, and added a side of sweet plantains. my friend had the quarter (dark meat) chicken with rice and beans. a little heavy for me bit very tasty. Authentic Cuban! Only suggestion and why 4 not 5 stars, is have sports not news on the tvs at the bar at lunch.

Fabulous Fun Family! This is what it's all about: Stranger walks into a bar, and walks out feeling like A Regular. I'd return for the food, especially the flan, but the cheerful waitress especially. Such a group of sweethearts: Mara, Lola, Arlety, Elena, and Lory!

A recent lunch had us wanting to come back for another taste of Cuban food. The restaurant decor is meant to remind you of Cuba and it does. The restaurant is clean with good service and the menu offers dishes like chimichurri and picadillo plates, as well as the traditional ropa vieja. There are a variety of sandwiches, including the classic Cuban. I had the chicken tacos, while the fish tacos that hubs ordered were served with a pita bread shell and the rice and black beans that came as a side, were seasoned to perfection. We were both pleased with the delicious lunch and the food certainly does remind me of a past trip to Cuba. There are a variety of Cuban dishes to choose from and we definitely plan to visit again. If you've never had Cuban food, this restaurant is a great way to get started.

Ordered a chicken chimichurri sandwich Zero flavor -- had no chimichurri had no mayo -- chicken had no seasoning .. bread was not pressed. When I raised to their attention they said their cook was in training. Please train the trainer. Will never go back. No soy Cubano but I have been to Cuba 3 x and this is not the way Cuban food should taste.

Located in a strip center . Plenty of free parking . The tostones have a nice crunchy texture and come with a side of lemon garlic sauce . It's a nice compliment. The Fernandez Bruschetta with lobster is OK . Not my fave and I would not recommend . The lobster mix is tiny bits of lobster in a mix of mayonnaise and spices . I did not care for it . The lobster had a fishy taste and I was not a fan . The actual lobster to mayonnaise ratio was minimal and it just seemed the purpose of the heavy mayonnaise mixture was to cut costs to avoid them having to actually use fresh chunks of lobster but still charge a premium price . I paid $20 for three pieces of "lobster" bruschetta. I had to ask each time for service from asking to place my order , water refill, napkins etc . No one ever came by voluntarily although there seemed to be plenty of staff and minimal customers .

    Cute interior

There's so much to look at, eat, and experience that it's definitely more than just a grocery store. The fresh guacamole is my favorite, and I always look forward to having it when I go. The driver mentioned that Naples is generally a sleepy town, in that the average age of the population are in their 70s. Nevertheless, the driver let us know about Seed to Table and that they have some cool features that might be intriguing. We decided to check this out on our last day, before going back home and it did not disappoint! We left with 8 grocery bags full of snacks and goodies! Look for the green labels with 'Seed to Table' on it, as those are items made from the farms in the area. The location has lots of parking and is a two-story store. When entering there, there's a few bars on the first floor and we heard there was another one upstairs that opens in the evening. We also heard that you're able to purchase items at the store, have the chefs prepare it on site for you to partake as a meal. We didn't look further into this as we were on a time crunch, though we loved hearing that as a concept! There's also ladies night, club nights, and babysitting services for you to drop off your offsprings while you shop the store. Yes to all of this, and I wish I had this back home!

Amazing service and delicious food…read more My friends and I went to The Local before a movie at the Regal movie theater nearby. We were seated in a comfortable booth, and the overall ambiance was so lovely with high ceilings. We got there in time to enjoy a happy hour dinner menu. I ordered the Pork Ragu over Gnocchi as featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." It was so yummy! And the portion was very generous. Service was also very friendly and helpful. We had a great server. I'll definitely return when I'm back in the area.

Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.

Passed by a burger place, ice cream shop and others arriving at Bicyclette. Receptionist greeted me warmly as I entered and asked if I could have a meal at the bar - no problem. Sat down and (on a Monday at 5:15 no less) had a delicious meal served by Adolfo who was attentive but not pushy. I tried their prix fixe menu - enjoying the eggplant dip with artichoke tostones ( I kid you not ) followed by a branzino grilled well with the most delicious yellow sauce both full of flavor and a hit of tartness. Okay, so, I'm done...well, don't forget dessert chimes in Adolfo; and, I relent. They make their own vanilla ice cream then sprinkle it with some herb, sea salt and....wait for it...Olive Oil. I won't say I liked it but I almost had to smoke a cigarrette after tasting it. The dessert, by the way, was served by the owner Louie who was rightfully quite proud of his recent Michelin Star rating ( "the only one in Naples" ). Upon back at the hotel I made mention to two guests who were just arriving as I'm now a Bicylette evangelist. Try it - I think you'll definitely love it.

The service was friendly throughout the meal, but everything moved surprisingly slowly, from ordering to receiving the food. We tried the salad, burger, and lamb kebabs. The salad and burger were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The lamb kebabs were unfortunately the biggest disappointment of the meal. They were quite salty and the meat was much tougher than expected, making them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant makes a good first impression with its ambiance and welcoming service, but the food did not quite match the setting. While the experience wasn't terrible, I'm not sure there was enough to make me eager for a second visit.
