Fantastic unassuming restaurant, I found it based on great reviews and they were deserved. I'll admit I'm not from Florida so I'm not an expert on Cuban food but I love food and this was fantastic. I had the lechon, a Cuban roast pork dish, and it was out of this world. Tender, incredibly flavorful and juicy and the flavors were incredible. Also had the fried plantains, they were good but not as incredible as the lechon. You should stop here if you are in Naples.

We split a Cuban sandwich- it was huge, and had the Avocado Salad as our shared side - both were great!

One of the best Cuban sandwiches ever - service was great! 10/10 would go again. 10/10 would go there again!

    The best mojitos

We are Christmas "snowbirds" from Cleveland and always look forward to our food from Rumba. We have two children who absolutely adore their lechon asado, and black beans. I as well think their lechon asado is outstanding and this time I ordered the masitas de puerco which was very good, but I just prefer the lechon a little bit more. My wife always order a Cuban sandwich and those are some of the best ones we have had. The Cuba cafe is quite good and the mojitos are some of the best we've had. The staff is great and so welcoming and really makes you feel like family.

What an absolute gem! The mojitos were fresh and delicious. The Cuban sandwich is of course the bell of the ball. You will not be let down. It's truly delicious. Have them add some of their hot sauce on the side for a good kick. The staff and ownership are all a delight.

Cuban coffee was very good. Servings were huge, had to take some home. I've had better lechon asado in other parts of Florida though. The tamales twist was interesting, croquetas were perfect, and love the avocado salad.

Visiting relatives they told me we could get Cuban food. I was all in! This place is tucked in a strip mall and is only open for lunch. We decided to sit outside. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with a side of yellow rice and beans. The griddled sandwich arrived. Deliciousness ensued. Tender pulled pork, ham, Swiss, pickles and mustard all combined to make the fabulous flavors happen. The yellow rice and black beans were well seasoned and a great accompaniment to the sandwich. There was plenty for me to box and bring with me as well. What a treat!

We made a point of stopping here for lunch after exploring an art show in Naples. We had been to this restaurant a couple years ago and had fond memories of both the owner and the food. You know how it is when your memory sets a high-performance bar and then reality falls short of that standard? Not in this case. Reality was even better than our memory. We were greeted at the door and quickly seated. I ordered a Cuban coffee and breakfast sandwich. My wife ordered pork tostones. The food was plentiful and amazing. I would highly recommend Rumba to anyone wanting a quality foodie experience at a reasonable price. My wife's only regret was that she did not order a mojito. This is a regret we hope to remedy in the not-too-distant future.

One of my go to places whenever I visit family down in Naples. My all time favorite cuban on the gulf coast, Rumba is incredible. Their cubano sandwich is one of the best I've ever had, and their tostones are equally as good. On this most recent trip, my wife, kids and I ordered a full cuban/rice and beans, tostones campestre (with chicken) and plantain chips (because my 2 year olds are extremely picky eaters). In years past, I've tried the media noche, rope vieja and maduros, and they're all excellent. Also, their cuban style coffee is TO DIE FOR. The staff is super attentive, and are always around to help whenever needed - outstanding overall. As for the restaurant itself, it's very small, with only 10-15 tables but that should NOT steer you away! It's a gem for sure and a must visit when in the Naples area.

Another phenomenal experience at Rumba. We went in to get an appetizer and ended up getting three. We ordered the tamale which was incredibly flavorful and moist. 10/10! We got the tostones campestres with all three meats (chicken, pork and beef). Perfection!!!! The ham croquettes were equally delicious! We got an order of the plantain chips that came with a creamy garlic sauce. Addictive!!! This gem is consistently great with outstanding service. Awesome Cuban food and a super nice owner that greats guests and makes them feel welcome. You have to try this place. Thank me later!

Oh my gosh this place is amazing!! Cannot say enough good things about it. The service is so friendly, the kind that brings true happiness. It's a cute little storefront, very clean. The food was so impeccable. The servings are large and the food is just out of this world. Highly recommend the tomales. Our server convinced us to get them and they were a lot of our favorite things. The coffee was also fantastic. Wish I lived in Naples so I could go all the time.

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.

And we accomplished just that! We started with some Stone Crabs, then some Peel & Eat Shrimp, then my wife and I shared an entree of Blackened Grouper with sides of fries and coleslaw, where we also added a few scallops. Delicious! We thought we were done, but our server informed us of the excellent Key Lime pie. We had room to share one slice, and we are so happy we did! It was excellent. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. The oysters were fresh, though we had slightly higher expectations. The king crab was easily the standout of the meal. The miso butterfish was well prepared but a bit heavy on the sauce--I think a touch of acidity and a side of vegetables would have balanced it nicely, something to consider. We sat under a covered patio and they welcomed our puppy with open arms! Though they didn't offer him any water. Age group: we saw mainly adults but I'm certain this places sees all ages of customers. Bathroom: clean Return:yes!

They have a couple of outdoor tables with umbrellas. Casual dining atmosphere but with elevated food you could find in more upscale restaurants. The prices were responsible for both the tapas/appetizers, as well as entrees. Prices for the tapas/pintos were similar to happy hour prices elsewhere. Small wine menu, with good options for moderate priced wine. I was in the mood for champagne and they didn't have on the menu. I called and they allowed me to pay a corkage fee. We ordered octopus, Thai chicken spring rolls, pepper rolls, and seared Foie gras from the Tapas menu, House Mix Paellas as our entree, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was delicious. We loved them all. Octopus was soft and not gummy with charred grill flavor. Spring rolls were crispy without being greasy. Seared Foie gras was accompanied with sweet berry sauce. Lots of seafood in the house mix paella. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend.
