We have been getting our lab work done here for many years. So partly it's a convenience factor but there are other considerations as well, especially for my wife. For some reason nurses tend to have trouble finding her veins and have to often make multiple attempts. At this lab the nurses seem to be consistently able to successfully find it on their first try, especially Marilyn! The results are normally available on line in less than 24 hours. Currently they are requiring masks and also checking temperatures upon entering and blocking off some of the waiting room seating to maintain the required distances.

The two times I have visited it was not busy, everyone was masked and they brought me / us into the exam room right away. All the staff was very friendly and I was impressed with Dr Kahrs who took her time listening, running diagnostics, x Ray images and then diagnosis (broken ankle) with recommendations. Our prescriptions were promptly sent over to the pharmacy and notes were given for follow up care. Overall I felt just as comfortable as if I visiting my family doctor after hours, rather than the stress of an ER and have recommended them to multiple friends during flu season.

They have an easy online scheduling tool and take all your information including pictures of your insurance cards and license so everything is already entered when you go in. They are appointment only on the weekend, but walk in during the week. I had been planning to get a rapid test, but was pleasantly surprised when they told me they are able to do covid PCR testing same day (as long as you are tested before 2pm). My goal is to return to sport and Julia is always thinking outside of the box and tailoring my exercise routine to the specific movements that are painful/challenging. She is very knowledgeable and dedicated to helping me reach my goals. The techs are great as well. One other thing I love about athletico is that they offer free injury screenings so that you can figure out what direction you need to go in without spending a ton of money (mri, X-rays, doctors, etc.)
