Within a week of purchase, after my first long drive, my check engine light came on, and a few other minor issues came up. However, I called Mr. Smith, and he had me drop the car off at a garage where he totally fixed and payed for everything. It's been 6 months, and this car has handled my heavy traveling so well! They spent a good amount of time helping with paperwork so that I could apply for state and federal clean vehicle rebates, which I was able to get without any problems thanks to their paperwork. The car was missing rear seat headrests and they promised to order them and ship them to me, I wasn't sure that it would actually happen, but they were good to their word. This was the best experience I've ever had at a used car dealer, and I'll be back when I'm in the market for a used car and will recommend them to friends and family.

Attempted to purchase vehicles at the dealership and was lied to and deceived, so I purchased elsewhere. Took my vehicles there for many years without any issues and in the last 5 years, have had nothing but issues with the service department. Every time I went there with my vehicle in the last 5 years, I got it back in worse shape than it was in when it was handed to them. Had to finish repairing the vehicle myself the last two times because of incompetent mechanics and service advisers. The management and ownership at this dealership was impossible to work with and was extremely ignorant to me. In the end, I learned that by complaining about them, you are blacklisted from all of their dealerships because nobody, including management, at their dealerships can handle criticism or fix their internal issues, for which there are MANY. You are better off going to ANY other dealership for all of your buying and servicing needs because the Pompey Automotive Group just cannot get it right!

I have had this car for a little over two months and I have had zero problems! *knock on wood* They also took my busted old Mercury Grand Marquis and actually gave me a decent price for it. My mechanic suggested these guys, as well as one of my friends, and I'm so glad I came here. I think he can offer better deals because he's independent, not beholden to a particular manufacturer. In order to compete with the "big boys" he lowers his prices. Either way, I'm very satisfied with my car.

Prices are clearly marked which helps making a decision before stepping on the lot if your not good at negotiations. No big dealer fees( eg. paperwork fee, prep fee, dealer fee, standing in our showroom fee, you get the idea). A lot a vehicles are very close new condition. Fair prices offered on trades. Dealer also gives to a local charity. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because they don't offer certified pre-owned(that I know of).

Mr. Griffin will convince you that the car is in fact in great shape and will easily go past 300,000 miles. There are no prices on the cars, he decides how big of a sucker you might be before he gives you a price with outrageously high interest. Then when this car breaks down, they will happily "fix it" usually not doing anything at all or putting in a used part that will break again and charging 3 times what any other mechanic charges. The first car I purchased there needed a new engine within 6 MONTHS! I was desperate enough for a second car, and after a year, the transmission is falling apart not to mention other things. These people should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT go to Griffins Auto. Its a scam that will cost you thousands, and by the time the car is paid off, you will have already been without that car for 2 years.
